This is true - a cruise is still a cruise! Still would’ve rather have gone than not.
It is a shame you both look for the negative in yr experience. I'm sure you use allot of energy not looking seeing the good things you do and experience...
We didn’t look for negative, we just didn’t like it 🤷🏼♀️ it’s not for everyone and we have our ships and lines that we adore
Moan moan moan.
🤣🤣
Yet again.... this video reminds me why I cancelled my cruise with P&O for later this year.
I'm so glad I've rebooked on another line.
Global Britain at its best.
Glad to hear we’ve helped confirm your thoughts! What other line did you book with?
Don't go to the buffet. Don't ever go to the buffet. Job done
We love the buffet though (young and hungry!) so if the line doesn’t have a good buffet then we’ll be trying another line🤷🏼♀️
Don't care what ship you are on, you two are very entertaining. David is so laconic I didn't realize he wasn't British.
Hahah thank you very much, our next ship is a lot more exciting so hopefully more entertaining than us just sulking 🤣 David’s still a little camera shy but he’s getting there.. he’s a good mix of American with a hint of British now he lives in the UK
Not really helping guys a bit boring you focus on the negative side you never mentioned a good thing about your cruise...
You’re right it was a negative video, but that’s because we didn’t have a great time 🤣 perhaps it was just bad luck for the cruise we chose
@@BethandDavidCruise this is going to be our first cruise and it's going to be in Britannia, I understand, we already checked out the food menu as a Filipino we don't have problem with any food we can eat anything we'll not everything 😁, and one of my daughters is first time in the sea so we took a inside stateroom and how busy is it going to be on June? Coz we're going this 7 of June Mediterranean were staying in Southampton for a day then embark on the ship and I'm sure I'm going to me a lot of Filipino seafarers and workers in there...thank you and keep it up
@@VicentePerez-pr2rg yes carnival (the corporation which p&o is a part of) hires a lot of Filipino employees so you’ll meet a lot staff on there! Always such wonderful people to meet. It was our first p&o cruise but we’ve been on many others, we just don’t think P&O was for us, we prefer smaller ships (as you say we’re a bit boring, we prefer the quiet!🤣). The ships are very popular though and plenty of people love P&O so in summer I would guess it will be busy but full of life. And the sun on a cruise always makes it better! You’ll have a great time I’m sure.
Thanks I prefer quite as well but the 2 prefer a little bit noisy so we will be fine I'll be spending my time in a quite place to enjoy the scenery and read my books, I'm sure we're going to enjoy it anyway I hope you already visited Philippines I'm sure you know about Boracay and El Nido in Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, I have a family who assist tourist, best time to visit December to February never visit Philippines in March to June too hot, I live in the Visayas Islands Bacolod City the city of smile, hope someday you're going to visit let me know and you will be in safe hands... And I'm sure you will enjoy like the saying in my country there's more fun in the Philippines....
Fun video, well done 👍
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
😂😂
God, I've only watched 4 mins of your blog and it's SOOOO boring! First day and you are so negative about everything! Bet it's a barrel of laughs holidaying with you two. 🙄
😂😂 we were pretty fed up by this point… this is definitely our most negative video! Take a look at our most recent vlog and hopefully you’ll think it a bit more upbeat than this one 😅😅
P& O is rapidly going down hill, been going with them for years but after my last trip on Arvia never again
Glad it’s not just us!! Wish we could’ve tried it before all the changes happened. Thanks for watching!
Ventura killed my love for P&O...enough said
Think we started off with the wrong ship for our judgement of P&O… seems to have the worst reviews of them all
It's not a bad ship just incredible badly run, with poor food, entertainment and service
Oh goodness me, this looks dire. This is the sort of thing that makes people think British food is bad - it's not, it's just British people (especially of an older generation) seem to be more willing to put up with rubbish food as long as it's in quantity.
I think you’ve summarised that perfectly!! David being American wasn’t impressed… we think it’s the worst cruise buffet we’ve tried. The quality (whilst it wasn’t great) was okay, but the lack of variety really got to us 😭
@@BethandDavidCruise My husband is American as well and he thinks UK food is fantastic but wasn't impressed by looking at this! I'm trying to convince him to do a cruise but I think P&O is off our list!
@@hac_GB oh what a coincidence! I wouldn’t recommend it for a first cruise.. especially to a non-Brit. Depending on budget and style, I’d have a look at Princess Cruises or Celebrity for a first cruise. David’s first was celebrity and it got him hooked - and the food is outstanding. We’re on in May so will be doing lots of content then. David is a Cruise Connoisseur for Panache Cruises, if you’d like any help or have questions just email him at david.wilburn@panachecruises.com and he’d be happy to help you look for the right one!
@@BethandDavidCruise Oh brilliant, thanks for the tip offs! I will keep working on him and have subscribed to your channel ☺️
