I know I've seen that shot, through an explosion, on a FF or James Bond or some kaboom movie. But that was of course all CGI. I wonder how much they spent on digitally producing something these guys did with, what do they call it? "Practical effects." Awesome. (You didn't charge them enough.)

When dude said he was gonna full send through the explosion I was like, "Welp, RIP props & probably for just a super undetailed washed out shot." Turned out way more epic than it had any right to be. That orbit with the high speed was great too. Crazy that just a shell casing took that rig down. The poor shooter was adorable in his concern that he might have broken the drone. LOL. I get it though, as both a gun guy & a drone guy. It wasn't about the cost, it was about that even as a gun guy he understand the time & tune that goes into a build, both hobbies have that in common. I'm sure the partners that sponsored this agreed ahead of time to replace anything broken during the shoot but dude was so concerned that he might have killed the expensive drone. Also we all know Drew only went along because he wanted to do something like the demolition shot again.

It was nice to see LeDrib do some relaxed freestyle. Everyone had some epic shots and who hasn't wanted to fly through a fireball? I was impressed just how long it was possible to fly through it, especially with no extra protection.

Of course the old group members and everyone's dynamic was fun to watch, it was just a bunch of dudes playing with flying speed blenders but there was no series or themes to their videos, it was kinda just a vlog channel. New Rotor riot is doing stuff that you just dont see anywhere else and it's a lot more on point, I feel like I learn a lot from them!

I think all those guys are better off not being part of rotor riot. They have all been successful in their own thins and are able t ok spread the hobby more than if they were together.. I believe this content is the future of rotor riot....those dudes were and are still legends...this is breaking out into everything we aspire to be...thank you rotor riot. Do you maintain licensing/ownership of the footage you shoot? Because flying through that explosion: $$$$ I could see a ton of titles over that shot. Fire Cheetos, Spicy Wings, Hot Sauce, WWE, MMA....
