Poly and band superb as ever. No autotune or autocorrect on Poly's voice or like a lot of music in the charts using a vocoder, double tracking robotic effects on live and recorded voices. PJ's all original and innovative music style and songs. Thank fo the video, great sound and visual recording. Would love to hear Poly do some collaborative work with previous band guitarist Joe Gore both innovative musicians in there own right.
I saw her the next week in Primavera Sound Porto and it was just magical. She has this light and presence like no other. I have seen her before but this time takes the cake, just perfect. And 50ft Queenie.... no words for this woman and her band.
What an amazing performance and setlist! Great mix of new and old. Black Hearted Love was a really nice surprise! But seriously, all solid gold. Amazing. Did I say amazing? Amazing.

I will be seeing her in Chicago for the first time this Fall. I just wish the set list could find a way to get a song or two from the Stories album in there. It would feel like a more balanced second half.
I love the music of PJ Harvey, but I think that the louder, older songs get far too little attention at a big live event. I miss classics like "This Is Love", "The Sky Lit Up", "A Perfect Day Elise", "The Whores Hustle And The Hustlers Whore", "A Place Called Home", "Missed" or "Kamikaze". More dance songs live please ;-)
