@Fruit Basket No matter what your eye color is, chances are there are tons of people with that eye color, so you don't own any eye color, therefore she isn't "taking" your eye color. Also, with the "people of color" thing, I know several African American people who were born with naturally blue/green/hazel eyes. The fact that you would say that people of color can't have a specific eye color really triggers me, because it's 1) untrue and 2) discriminating. Also, if you want to wear an afro, go ahead. No one's stopping you. Afros are a traditionally Black hairstyle, but any race can wear them, just like green eyes are most commonly found in European/White people, but any person can be born with them. We as humans need to stop seeing people as divided by racial stereotypes but rather as the beautifully unique individuals that we are.

Because 80% of the population have dark brown eyes. I guess that makes a lot of people with dark eyes wanna stand out more by having lighter brown, hazel, green or blue eyes.

This is going to sound really corny but I used to hate my brown eyes like I used to ask myself why I couldn't be born with green or blue eyes. But then one day my boyfriend & I were together in his car drinking some smoothies and the sun was setting & I felt him just looking at me and I was like what? & he said it was nothing but when I was looking at the sun set my eyes were kind of sparkling & they kind of reminded him of honey, he said my eyes were his favorite. he'll probably never read this lol but now I think my brown eyes are beautiful (:

I used to wear grey contacts and would get SO many compliments on my eyes. It made me feel so confident that at least there was one thing people liked about me. My eyesight got so bad since then, I’m too blind for colored contacts now. I really miss wearing them :(

I'm so thankful I've been given 2 eyes to see regardless of their color. My observation is those who have light eyes have no eyebrows or really thin eyebrows and those who have dark eyes have really thick eyebrows.

The blue-eyed young lady had the most natural look because its easier to make light eyes darker, than it is to make dark eyes light. She also had the most appealing transformation, imo, because the dark eyes added depth to her look, less washed out for some reason. I think it gave her look, personality...a boost and nice contrast with her light-colored locks and skin.
Some people can pull off the light eyes/light complexion/light hair combination. But for her I think its a different case, and she seemed very happy about the new look.

Calling someone, who is obviously black, black is not offensive. It's stating the obvious. It's like saying, "I am white, therefore I am white." We know she's black, and that's okay. Calling a black person black is not racist. Saying they're bad because they are black IS racist. And black people are not bad, they are wonderful people. Skin color does not matter.

I am fascinated by eyes since years, i love drawing and i always draw people's eyes. Literally, i think that every eyes are beautiful, weitheir it's their shape or color, i can always find something that i find stunning in someone's eye. You don't need to have the most colorful eyes ever for them to be fascinating, believe me 💜

My natural blue eyes get darker in the fall and winter while in the spring and summer they get lighter
