Thanks for doing a segment on this product. I hope it will prevent a few purchases at least. Unfortunately, people take having good vision for granted and believe bad things won’t happen to them. The company likely spent more money on legal issues and preventing accountability if the product damages a customer’s vision, than medical safety.

I can't get contacts unless I have a current prescription yet I can get eyedrops that strip my eye of melanin... There's something seriously wrong with this..
Because contacts are considered a medical aid and you can’t just put any contact in your eye and expect it to work, but these drops are in a cosmetic category.

@@FaithandNova not purposely but hopefully this raises awareness to how cosmetics products can become dangerous to one’s health if you do not do your research, compare to a lot of medical products where the research is done for you.
There are eyedrops that CAN change your eye colour which are medically approved, however that's not what they were made for. I can't remember why my mum was prescribed them, she has more than one problem with her eyes but I think they were to help with the high pressure she had in her eyes at the time, could be wrong it was a long time ago. One of the side effects though which the Dr warned her about is they will lighten her eye colour and they did, she went from a dark brown to golden colour.
This stuff they are talking about on this video I definitely wouldn't go near, I'm surprised what they are allowed to sell these days..

I have hazel green eyes and want them a lighter green. What eyedropper will do this?
There are eye color changing drops out there that do not contain n-acetyl-glucosamine, if that's what people are worried about. I am using the drops myself (without this ingredient), as I might have read quite a few comments of ppl stating that it didn't work, but no one has complained about any side effects, other than the burning sensation right after using them. If anyone is interested, I can keep you updated. I am a 'real person' who wishes there were more 'real' people out there sharing their progress, not just the before and after pics on the companies' websites. So far, I have only been using the drops for 1 1/2 months, so I haven't seen any changes yet. I am going from brown to blue.
@Esteban Bevilacqua Sun beetle uses alpha arbutin in their eye drops, but no n-acetyl-glucosamine. Lighteyez doesn't use either of those ingredients (not in all of their eye drops at least, only checked a few).

I bought 4 months worth of ChangeMyEyes, to change my green eyes to Darkest Brown.
Result: It did not change or affect my eyes at all! I did put in for a refund and received most of it, thank goodness.

@@sheeshama1584 No The company is legitimate, not a scam. Many people have changed their eye color. I believe how long it takes is dependant on how strong your melanin is. ChangMyEyes did not work for me, that does not imply that it will not work for you or anyone else. patience is definitely a virtue here, and allow 4 months to see. Some peoples' stupid remarks about changing your eye color to blind, is plain ignorant. The drops are sterile and very safe.

However, speaking as 1 that has dealt with Insecurities about my presumed lack physical attractiveness since 2nd grade of elementary school( MY first experience with noticing my, skin tone, hair texture, facial features were not like my classmates)
3rd grade was my first experience with feeling the pain of being rejected by a classmate that I had a crush on, who looked me in my eyes and told me it, was because I wasn't as attractive as my best friend, she had a crush on. That was the start of many other similar, experiences and the slow but certain decline of my self esteem. As a direct result, I can say with all honesty, and personal experience, "It is not as simple as that just excepting what GOD says about you". Though, I SINCERELY WISH IT WAS!!! It's difficult to think GODLY thoughts about yourself when you are naturally inclined to compare yourself and judge ourselves accordingly. After all, It is said that "we are our own worst critics". It is equally difficult, to feel attractive when you're opinions about yourself are often molded, formed or shaped, by the opinions of others, your upbringing, environment( surrounded by people that you see and or interact with almost, daily). Also, DNA plays a part in certain character traits( depression, Insecurities)being passed down genetically. In closing, if it were as easy (as it should be) to just accept the cards you've been dealt by GOD, we wouldn't be here commenting, about this video and people, like myself that are desperately looking for cosmetic improvement that mere excersise can't fix. For some of us, have suffered with the insecure aliment for so long, in silence, that we are almost beyond psychological repair. So we are willing to take the cosmetic improvement dare. Not sure about that, i am studying the eye and optics, i would not want to change the melatonin in my eye when you know how important it is and how big problems it can become if it is changed, for example cancer on the retina if overproduction occurs.

Question can eye drop really change your eye color? What about cosmetic surgery? Do United States allow these procedures? What about the FDA what do they have to say about this.
It exists extreme options but in the long run blindness is often the frequent consequences, no matter what treatment you pick. The iris (the colour part of your eye) is a form of muscle and not just skin tissue, and it is extremely delicate.

They supposedly damage the pump mechanism that helps the Fluid in your eyeballs drain. This can lead to Glaucoma because of increased Intraocular pressure damaging the optic nerve.
I would use the icolour balm which may be a safer and easy option cause its really not making contact with the eye but underneath it.

My son and I have hazel (color changing) eyes and we require sunglasses on sunny days. We both have a dark rim around our ireses which I love.
Just a THEORY here because I KNOW everyone/ ok most people prefer lighter colored eyes..let"s just be honest ;)
I think wearing sunglasses keeps eyes light or can lighten them by reducing the amountt needed by the eye to protect themselves. Kind of like a tan/ or base colour on the skin builds up the melanin as to protect the skin.

Ps...btw...if you want to lighten your skin you do not have to use bleaches or chemicals on the skin like hydroquinone. There is a great antioxidant for general health called glutothione which you can buy anywhere and a side effect of it is it lightens the skin.
If you want a golden tan over a dark brown and are prone to dark brown then just take vitamin A.
Personally I like my skintone and hazel eyes but have always been into supplements and this is what I learned from experience. I tan gold naturally....to the point of a glowy sheen and fast even though I am light/ fair. I tan/get colour in 10 minutes and never get sunburned- I wonder if that is due to some of the vitamins/supplements I take which I like to circulate.

As an ex-model who has always been into the latest in skincare..I can tell you right now that while taking Glutathione is a great way to get a very powerful antioxidant into your system..neither I nor anyone else I know has had good results with it for skin lightening. As a matter of fact..it is one of the biggest SCAMS in Asian skincare. They sell Glutathione pills specifically marketed for skin lightening..yet when people don't get the lighter skin..the companies just tell them "You haven't been using them long enough..keep buying more and keep using it!"..even if the person has been using them for years..lol. Same goes for eye color.
Not sure how that would work when most of the acids in the stomach would render it useless but then i may not know everything.

make sure your eyes get a lot of sunlight. It will increase the melanin in the eye and eventually your eye colour will be darker. It is safe you can even research it.

I tried it and it hurt my eyes after a week and it didn't lighten at all. It felt like a pin stabbing one eye ball the most. I gave up after that and it took almost a week for the pain to go away.
Please don't use anything that could negatively affect your vision again.

light colored eyes or beautiful. But there's other attractive aspects we can have two. Also some make up just doesn't look good with light eyes. it's just too much. I like smoky eye make up with my dark eyes I think it's very attractive that way it's best if we just highlight what we have. it is so not worth risking going blind

you can easily change your hair color, but your eyes is a different story. just keep the color you have. If you really want a change, get the colored contacts, at least you wont go blind.

You want to lighten them naturally.. drink honey every day 1 table spoon is all you need. Also go fully raw vegan overtime they will change I'm sure it's due to nutrient deficiency though. Fully raw christina had been for quit sometime for yeat and she had brown eyes they turned green

OMG, the add for eye drops like this was in my ads and I was like, "You could go blind using stuff like that especially since it's not FDA approved. I looked at the ingredients and they have boric acid as an ingredient. Can you put that in your eye?

It's only a mix of HONEY and water completely harmless I've used it for a year and now have beautiful light green eyes.
