As a beginner I really need to know how to better use my hands - wrists and fingers - to move around the keys fluidly. This is valuable information. Thanks, Daria. 👍
Thank you so much for this tutorial, Daria. This is precious information you're sharing. I look forward to part 2. And, I wish you all the best for the year ahead.
You ate very kind for sharing such a warm comment with me! I really appreciate your feedback and I am very happy that my work can help other learn the piano!!🎶🙏
could you perhaps make one more video for beginners or self taught people? the problem I have specifically is my chords/triads arent sounding off all at once. i'm arching my hand, correct seated position and my fingers are curved. I did start curving my thumb and using just the tip of my thumb and that helps. I've heard from some people to press into the keys but I have also heard to use arm weight and not use keys. any advice would be appreciated. I live in a small town so quality lessons is something I have to venture for but I will start lessons in roughly a month from now. I sure do hope I can get this issue fixed. @@Dariafortepiano
Your advice is very helpful!!! I was looking for these tips! A lot of piano channels are just talking about chords scales......very few people explained the ever changing hand and finger techniques!! Again thank you very much!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😁👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Very helpful thank you. I always appreciate your insight into the physical technique. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the Taubmann technique and those schools of thought. Are you familiar? I'm particularly concerned with my technique, (autoimmune craziness) so I'm trying to squeeze as much healthiness in piano movements as I can reasonably do, for longevity sake
Review this lesson in first day of 2025 . Thank you Daria! Happy New Year from Boston!
