never knew the PC version had a textured track!! , i only ever played the Amiga version of F1GP, got to say tho i much prefer the Amigas sound effects, the PC version sounds awful.
Good good times.. many a minute and multiple hours spent tuning and racing.. best thing we could MP it!! Unless we went out you had no chance of a multi play. Daytona was out but u had to pay to play(but that was FUN!) Home and challenge friends to a F1 duel, this was the game changer.

Thank you so much for uploading this, the engine noise brought me right back to being 5 or 6 and playing this game for hours on end
Same here 🥹
me too :) the sound effects were so good in this game and i just now realized how many different courses it had
Letteralmente decollato!!!
Ohhh the good days playing this with my dad all day long with a steering wheel and pedals
I'm looking for a working configuration right now!! I am planning to replay this as soon as I manage to get a set at a good price.
Eu tive esse jogo no meu PC lá em 1995/1996... Era o melhor jogo de formula 1 da época....várias lembranças boas kkk
I think it's still one of the best! =)
I didn't remember this intro! It's so AWESOME! :D
menu music sounds like summer o 69 of Bryan Adams... I love this game... was a revolution like the first one....
the graphics were really damn good for it's age.
Yeah, I always loved this game!

I played this game with Gravis Analog Pro joystick. I remember it was hard to control the gas without any assists and the car would spin easily..
The improvement from 1992 to 1995? gosh windows 95 was heaven sent!
Actually GP2 was still running on DOS...
really! but the pixel improvement is such a jump!
This game was very good.
Gostaria de saber qual a configuração deste PC,pois os gráficos sempre saem muito ruins quando tento rodar este jogo.
Dosbox
I bought this game before I had a computer I wanted it that much
It was a really great game for the time... I had to play low-res because I had a 486 and still was incredible!
Excellent game)
Install on Dosbox or dosbox/defend reloaded. Tutorial www.grandprix2.de/Anleitung/dosbox/eng_gp2_dosbox.html for modern pc.

How did you get the music to work on the dosbox?
I think it's working if you manage to mount an ISO image of the CDs
Squakenet can you provide me a way to mount an ISO image of cd?
Squakenet holy crap I actually got it to work
God, why did I sell my 486 DX2/66?!
This should be running in dosbox emulation quite smoothly.
cmonn man turn some assists off jeez x)
Hehehe... without them you have seen the car crashing after first curve!!
I truly believe the spirit of F1 died when Ayrton Senna died. I remember a lot of people back then lost interest in F1 after he died.
It was an icon and of course, his death affected many. However I think Schumacher later revived that spirit again during 90s.
With automatic brake. Shame on you!
Needed more practice before getting rid of help controls... :)
