Good to see you back on TH-cam Brian ( and Dad too ) - Katy Trail is one of the best rides in the world - looks like you had a wonderful trip. Looking forward to more content on your Katy Trail trip.

It was! I really like the KATY. I’m sure this won’t be the last time.

Absolutely fantastic. Last year I took a plane from Vegas, landed at Lambert, put my bike together in the airport and rode the Katy. Slept in my tent (hidden like), never had a camp ground or hotel. Absolutely loved it and will be one of the highlights of my life. Thank you very much for sharing, brought back memories.

Glad to see you and your father taking a ride again. I’m from St.Louis County, my family and I have rode the Katy Trail many times. Usually from St Charles to Defiance and back. Enjoy and stay safe! 😊

I love your videos! Thanks for making these. At my boring office job i watch them and it brings me back. I’ve done the Katy several times about to do it again in 2 weeks! On my e bike. Please keep on doing what you’re doing.

Nice vid to kick off the latest ride.
I just completed the OTET in four days. The limestone was packed and nice there, too.
Watching your past OTET rides was a big part of the inspiration for doing the trail.
    Stay safe!

Hey Brian, nice to see a new video from you. This might be oversharing, but I'll go for it anyways. I tried to find an email address for you on YT here and couldn't find one, so I figured I'd post a comment to get this out. I have a young son who has cancer. I take him for aggressive chemo treatments once a week, and they're rough on both him and me. Chemo days are long and grueling and I sit back to watch the nurses do their thing and I watch TH-cam videos to relieve my stress and pass the time. I do a fair bit of cycling and some camping, and one day a few months ago I came across one of your videos while I was waiting for his chemo treatment to end. I think it was your e-biking adventure from Indiana to Boston. I was immediately hooked! Over the next few days I found myself binge-watching pretty much all of your content, so I decided to save them for chemo days. I'm pretty much all caught up on your videos and was getting a bit bummed because tomorrow I have to take him for chemo again and you hadn't posted anything for a while. So I was really happy when I logged on today and saw that you had posted a new video, and it appears to be a part of a new series. I especially like the videos you do with your dad. You and him have a special bond surrounding biking and that's great to see. I bought myself an e-bike this past spring and have logged almost 1000 km/620 miles so far this year. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to do much camping this summer, as my family isn't up for it with my son's nausea and chemo side effects being so severe, but once he's done and gets a clean bill of health, I hope to get out and put some more miles down. Anyhow, enough rambling. I just wanted to thank you for your videos and let you know that living vicariously through you helps get me through some of those rough times. Thanks man, I very much appreciate the effort you put into these videos.
