"The Saint Bernard is happiest when she is doing what you're doing." I miss my goober of a boofer because of that. 15 years of "you going outside? i'm coming" and "yeah, both of us can fit in this chair."
I have a saint bernard and he literally saved my life once, there was a local criminal and he had weapons, my dog, Max noticed and pulled me away to my home
I think appearance wise Bernese Mountain Dogs are cuter BUT I would rather have a Saint Bernard! There's just so many things about Saint Bernard's that make them so lovable, I love their personalities!
@@Xavier_Creighton She is lovely, 7 months old now, 40 kilograms already. Truly beautiful dog every time strangers pass they comment on how pretty she is. You really gotta watch out tho. These big dogs can have a lot of problems with their sockets in their hips. Sadly our dog has got it as well. Don't randomly buy one please investigate in their parents cuz the error is past on mostly that way. We feed her a lot of painkillers, and it seems to go well for know, we want to build her muscles around her hips to prevent to much harm. It might get a lot worse though in a few years, we're hoping for the best.
@@justinjagt7633 I have a regular bernese mountain dog not a mix, unfortunately she's 8 years old and their life spam is 6 - 8 years, and she had a seizure the other day, 1st time too, so we think her time is coming sadly, so we started looking at puppies so that she can have a playmate before she goes, and wanted to see if the mix was a good choice. Thanks for the heads up! And good luck with your dog and their problems, hope they get through it
I have a st and I don’t have a very big house. They don’t require much living space. They could even live in an apartment if you take them on daily walks.
Mine is generally only in the downstairs of my home, which is under 1000 square feet. She would be ok in less space as well, so long as she got her walk
I'm in a semi house and about to take a rescue oldie he's 8 arrives mid June I'm not rich and have fair size garden but you dont need a big house, your worthy if you have a yard and time & patience, some live in large apartments but yard is best if you can't take them for short wee walks. I am so looking forward to meeting him hes coming from Scotland ...he will reside with my 15 yr old borderxjack...never say never, visualise your life with a saint and back garden or near by park it'll happen ...many now need rescuing just want tummy rubs a roof and love
Great video. I had a Bernese for 7 wonderful years until he passed. Have a 3 month old St Bernard now. Can anyone tell me, from their experience of having both breeds, the main differences that they noticed between their temperament? From the video, it seems that the Bernese and Saint Bernard have the exact same temperament. Am I right? I know this depends on the individual dog but even in a general sense? Thank you for your help.
I am a 10 year-old Berner. I am quite different than people expect - I guard the place, I am aloof towards unknown people and I hate when strangers touch me.
One thing not mentioned is that Bernese being eager to please can have separation anxiety and will follow you everywhere. They are not independent dogs.
Just lost our berner, best dog I could imagine ever owning. All they do is love. We’ll see how the St. Bernard is, that’s next
Oh no sorry for your loss

Saint Bernard if I HAD to choose
Thanks for watching!
Same
My Parents had 2 Bernese and I have a Saint and a Pom, I LOVE my Saint. Amazing gorgeous gentle giant
Mine attacks over food. Trying to find a solution after $5k in training didn’t help
Love both breeds I just lost my Saint Bernard a week ago had him from a puppy it was a great 8 years with him ....
sorry to hear that - glad he was such a good dog
Oh, that is awful to hear. May he Rest In Peace. Mine lasted to 12 years old. How I miss you Scott.
The results are they're both cute, and they're both mine now, good day!
I love my 3 month old berner pup. He is wonderful

That sounds so fake lol
@@actuallystupidperson491 Idrc if you think it's fake because I know the truth and that's what matters
Seriously?
Icyhottodo don't listen to him or her, their profile name sums them up, the person is trolling you, I believe you dogs have a sixth sense

Berner mountain dog for me is the best dog's breed on the planet 🌹🌹🌹

@@DogsNowChannel yes... unfortunately he is dead 3 months ago ... was a son for me...😔🌹🌹🌹
TWO OF MY FAVS
1:35 my male weighs 188 lbs and he is very lean, no fat, just pure mass
Very informative. I've now decided I need both 😐
Glad it was helpful!
Why choose, when you can have a mix haha, im getting a mix breed of these two next week
Haha nice!
Me and my family are thinking about getting one, how are they?

@@Xavier_Creighton Hey thanks man good luck with it!
really good content. Would be lovely if you could also give metric measurements
Noted!
Love these dogs
Thanks for watching
Yes I’d take either one!
I really! Like both of these
Dog breeds 😃🐕🦴
I have both! My dog MOOOSE is a saint bernard/ bernese mountain dog specially mix.
Two my favs
i love saint bernards i'm gonna go with saint bernards
This is a good video but the background music is to loud and has lyrics for some reason.
I like the Saint Bernard
I wish I could have one they're so cute
They are but my Saint Bernard gives me a lot of injuries and since I live in a place with a lot of people he tends to run after and chase them
That st Bernard is having high hips compared to his fore legs...seems like walking in a fashion show...
Same I would totally choose saint barnard
Bernard
Have had Bernese for 20+ years, and have decided to get a Saint B as well. 10 years is almost unattainable for a Bernese, unfortunately.
Mine will be 10 in July!
I would get a St. Bernard but in the uk we don’t have big houses unless your rich so there’s no St. Bernard for me
Thanks for watching!

I WISHD ID HAD 7 SAINT BERNARDS AND 6 BERNESES
the music outch. Otherwise perfect. Thanks.
FIRST ONE ALSO BERNESE
I WISHD ID HAD SAINT BERNARD AND ALSO BERNESE MOUNTAINDOG
🥰
dude, tone the music down. It's obnoxious in relation to the narration
Boohoo
Swiss dogs like me are the best.
I like Burmese cuz it's a little smaller
My Saint Bernard gives me lots of injuries
My Dream ocer 30 years
I have a 1 month St Bernard male puppy with vaccination up to date for sale in Fort Worth TX. If interested
Bernese can get up to 150 lbs
The St.Bernard would win because it has powerful jaws than Bernese Mountain Dog
Bernese don't drop saliva to you, your house, your furniture
But you do when you drool in your sleep 🤤
wow talk about annoying music
