the thing with melee ganon is youve either gotta be super patient when dealing damage due to his speed or learn all the advanced movement techniques like bizz was doing
I second this. Can be very difficult against the higher tier characters like Marth or the space animals, even with Bizzaro's insane mobility with his Ganon. He is truly demonstrating Ganon's potential.
Justin Mathis Yes. Melee Ganon is best Ganon. It's the fastest one there is, not to mention the insane knockback & ability to kill at 27% RAW off of his uptilt.

I think I'm good at Smash Bros, but then I look at these guys play and I feel like the worst player in existence.

Is it really that bad in Melee? It's a great move in Wii U, and I'm pretty sure Brawl.
It's extremely punishable.
Stuke I see. In Wii U, it's a very important tool to know how to use, even top players use it quite a bit, and it works really well, and scores kills pretty well as well. What's so different about it in Melee.
Not all the hits chain into each other, and it's possible for characters to act between the hits at certain percents.

shawned43 Except that Roy's moveset does not revolve around keeping an enemy a certain distance away.
No other close-quarter character benefits from perfect spacing in the same way that Marth does.
Perfectly spaced moves with any other character mean less (if any at all) chance of punish on whiff/higher chance of hit, but with Marth it means also more raw damage and knockback. All characters have sweet and sour spots with moves, but Marth is all about out-ranging everyone else in close-quarter combat.
You get too close to Marth, Marth suffers a disadvantage because his moves are now weaker.
Because of these reasons, and Marth's tipper mechanic, he epitomizes the importance of spacing and knowing the exact ranges of your moves.
Marth also has incredible combo game, but suffers an early inability to kill once an opponent reaches too much damage to combo.
I'm sure you've heard something like "either kills at 70%, or 150%," and that's because Marth is one of the most combo-oriented characters in the game. So, once his moves fail to combo, he has to fish for raw kill moves which is challenging.
In this way, Marth brings to the table the importance of combo knowledge, adjusting for weight, fall-speed, percents, stage layout (platforms, edges), and capitalizing on every positive shift in momentum.
If you don't "finish you food" once you start a combo as Marth and leave the opponent in too high damage, you're typically now at a disadvantage.
Roy is a bad clone. But hes fun to use.
shawned43 has the same moveset as Marth, Plays nothing like Marth. Only good players know this btw

This is my fav Ganon set, and one of my fav sets of all time! Damn Bizz played awesome, Ken too, and the commentary is some of the most memorable I've heard
