The lighter situation I live in an urban environment I carry a butane zippo every day when I go camping, I put the gas one in there highly recommend a zippo
The olight with the charging block- neat. I run an ancient little mini maglite as a backup, the Nebo Mychro headlight as my go-to for bushcraft camping. Only drawback with the Nebo is the small battery size- maybe 6 or 8 hours on low white light. Its intuitive on the controls, has a red light and is lightweight. I’d love to get down there next year.
Regarding the flashlights, amateur's perspective and use can be better that pros'. It's not just about flashlights but in general. As a pro you get a tunnel vision.
My lesson: a bic lighter is the best u can get. It will last forever and stay lit longer than any other lighter. If it gets wet, u can dry it out, and it will still light. I'm a smoker and a stoner. I never leave home without a bic lighter.
I've been looking for an easy cheap flashlight to hand the wife or kids when walking the dog, thanks for the Fenix spotlight it's exactly what I was looking for. Also going to check out the roxon multi tool as a cheap addition to my camping gear.

What custom things did you do to the multitool, and which one is that. Looks kinda like a Surge... The screws look like you might have combined 2 tools to make one?
it´s funny how everyone is suddenly making a fuss over slingshots when for me that was like a regular children´s toy when i was a kid, we used to look for guava trees because guava has a very hard wood and also elastic serum bands (the ones used in hospitals). Who wold´ve known that it would become such a hit among adults too
PNW Bushcraft is my neighbor i went to school with his kids and I've been watching you for a few years. Awesome to see you enjoying his stuff
Glad you enjoyed our little part of the world. Watkinsville is a nice community.
