I have 3a/3b curls and I JUST followed this tutorial! My hair is super curly (compared to the mannequin) so I was scared but I went slow and took breaks rather than rush and mess up my hair. I definitely just winged it on some parts in the back because I couldn’t cut the back as perfect as he did but it doesn’t really matter with curly hair because it’s not even noticeable IF I did mess up 🤣. I hated having layers because the hairstylist always made it look weird so my hair has been an even length since like middle school (I’m out of college now) but WOW this tutorial was great! My hair looks so good when it’s dry, I was worried when it was wet but once it’s dry my curls expand and make it look way better! I definitely felt worried once I saw how much hair needed to be cut off on that last top part, but I guess I worried for nothing because it looks great! Definitely stick as close to his tutorial as possible (ESPECIALLY with the parting of the hair and the bangs part) and you’ll get great results! I wish we could post photos on comments so y’all could see what it looks like on curlier hair. Not sure about type 4 hair, but I think type 3 hair would look great in this wolf cut!

I tried this twice on my own. I have pretty long hair so i didn't cut the exact wolf cut. I just wanted some layers. So this worked super well that way too. Love it.
TH-cam recommended me this AFTER I did the one minute mullet/wolf cut method. My 2c/3a hair still looks really great, I love it so much and it's much easier to just chop it off that way but thanks youtube for telling me to please cut it professionally ig 😂

One thing I love about my curly hair like that is that when your cutting it looks like “oop, it looks so straight at the end” to then “nope never mind just bounced back into curls”
Love this!! My hair looks like that naturally, not because I got it cut, but because I shaved it off and now I'm growing it back out. My hair is curly and it has natural layers from growing it out. The first look you did with the middle part is basically the way my hair looks right now if I scrunch it with some mousse in it. So, lol, I guess that means I'm trendy by accident? Kinda cool.

Thank you very much for the video. My hair type is a lot like this one so I appreciate it a lot. The only thing is, this in the example is not really curly hair but wavy hair (using Western classification at least). Curly is when the strands form a 3d spiral (loose or tight). Wavy is when the strands form a 2d 's' letter shape. Wavy is inbetween curly and straight but speaking from experience, from a hair care perspective it's better to treat it as 'curly' (well loosely so). I don't know if people with proper curly hair can benefit from a wolf cut, it would probably look nice but different enough not to look 'wolf' anymore...more like 'sheep'? Because of the curls. Personally I think the wavy wolf cut is the best version as it has movement of its own, but still looks sleek.

Thank you very much for the video. My hair type is a lot like this one so I appreciate it a lot. The only thing is, this in the example is not really curly hair but wavy hair (using Western classification at least). Curly is when the strands form a 3d spiral (loose or tight). Wavy is when the strands form a 2d 's' letter shape. Wavy is inbetween curly and straight but speaking from experience, from a hair care perspective it's better to treat it as 'curly' (well loosely so). I don't know if people with proper curly hair can benefit from a wolf cut, it would probably look nice but different enough not to look 'wolf' anymore...more like 'sheep'? Because of the curls. Personally I think the wavy wolf cut is the best version as it has movement of its own, but still looks sleek.
