As someone who grew up being told I can never do my own hair and it will always end up looking bad if I try. This was so nice. I do not have money for a hairdresser at all, not to mention most hairdressers Don’t even know how to work on curly hair. I can’t handle my long hair anymore but I also didn’t want to go super short. This video was super helpful and this is the first time I cut my own hair and I am actually really proud of it! It looks good! And I am so happy
I tried this and let me tell you that I do t have half the amount of hair she does- but AFTER I cut my hair- WOW the volume!! Had I known I would have cut my hair like this years ago! I have wavy hair and the curls are sooo pretty now.
I'm so doing this! After having a hairstylist ruin my hair last cut I have been playing around with cutting my own hair. This technique should give me what I'm looking for and is simple enough to do. Thanks for sharing!!
Okay so I did this myself and I actually can't believe how good my hair looks! It isn't flat anymore, it's like flowy it looks really great 😌 thank you for this tutorial 😊 Recommended this to anyone with wavy/ curly hair :)
As someone with 3c curls this was EXTREMELY helpful. It was so simple to understand and anyone with any hair type could use it. My hair looked beautiful afterwards, you are very appreciated
Was struggling finding a curly hair specialist and took matters into my own hands with haircutting scissors and did this cut for the first time and it completely revitalized my curls and the volume is sooo nice!!!
I just tried this haircut on my self last night and OH MY GOOD GOD. I love it. I haven’t gone to a hair dresser in quite a while and have been wanting to get a hair cut. I decided to do it myself at home and then if I hate it, I can go get it fixed. I’ve trimmed my own hair at home before but never knew how to give it some layers or texture. This hair cut was PERFECT. This video gave the perfect run though and I’m so happy with the results. Thank you!
Oh wow. I followed your video and cut my own hair for the very first time. It looks so much better and has a beautiful shape. Thank you so much for your amazing videos.
You have such beautiful hair! Love your videos so much! I know you have your hands full with two little ones, so I get so excited when you post. Stay blessed!
I was doing your first curly haircut and just discovered this wolf cut video. I tried the butterfly cut, but it isn't flattering for my hair. Excited to try the wolf cut; it's fun to switch cuts every so often.
Thanks so much for the tutorial! My hair was too long with too many split ends. I also wanted to add in some volume and layers. So this was the perfect cut and I am so happy with the results! Thank you!!😊🧡
Just want to say Thank youuuu! I did this today and my hair looks 👌 amazing! I've been waiting to get a curly cut for so long and so excited now that I can do it myself.. honestly the best cut I've ever had so far!
I did the cut. I do like how it rounds everything in a matching way. Despite my profile pic, my hair is currently almost as long as yours. But it's baby fine, so it's hard to figure out how to get body into it. I wish I had the bounce you have, it's really pretty!
I just did it after taking a shower, and to be honest I don't see any difference in mine maybe because I just cut 1 inch of my hair on every step. So yeah it's okay
Omg why didn’t I find this video earlier tonight .. I just watched 3 others and have ended up cutting about 3 inches off my gorgeous curls getting It wrong to then find this …I’ve somehow salvaged it thanks to this lady : ) but 3 inches down aghhhhh !!! take my advice go for this technique as the others fail lol
Your curls are beautiful. My curls tend to get frizzy near the front top, I've heard this sometimes referred to as frizz halo. What do you recommend to get rid of that
My hair type is curly and wavy I've been thinking about cutting it like this, it's been a long time. I'm thinking about doing it tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
Ok this one looks so much easier to follow and I think I have the same type of hair as yours. Might do it if I still have the urge to cut my hair tonight 😂
I cut about 3 inches off my hair every 3 years because a) I dont know how to cut my own hair and b) im terrified of letting anyone cut my hair. After watching this I will be actually cutting and layering my own hair this weekend😅
Long story short. My hair was very long and I got a denman brush stuck in it and I cut my hair and got it cut to my shoulders. My hairdresser just gave me 1 layer haircut and now when I wear my hair down.... i feel like a triangle. Flat on top bushy on the bottom. I need layers. 😫 should I try this method or is my hair too short? Thanks girl. ♥️
I say it is worth a try! You can start with cutting just a little bit and see if it helps at all and then cut more if it's needed. You may not be able to get all of your hair up in the ponytail for the first pony cut. BUT I think you will still get really great results if you just get as much hair as you can into the ponytail, or even just skip to the ponytail that starts at your temples ☺️
I've been wanting to do this for awhile now and this just pushed me closer. Maybe after Thanksgiving. Eeks! Scares me to think about cutting my own hair!
Does this haircut look good with tied up hair ? Like a low or high ponytail and a bun… i rly want to do this but at school we can’t wear our hair down, so i’m just making sure
This is a great question! Thank you for asking! The wolf cut creates a more layered, textured, and boho-y look. My original cut creates a more cohesively curly layered look.
I have like 3/4 of the hair you have like ya , my hair just a big mess I mean my hair has natural mix of *wavy curls , straights , bouncy curls , tight curls , loose curls , frizzy hair , etc etc (my hair is literally a mix of every curl and straight and every hair type in the world)* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As someone who grew up being told I can never do my own hair and it will always end up looking bad if I try. This was so nice. V relatable 🥲 I also find my long hair is a security, but for why? 🤷🏽♀️ I hate it and it's overstimulating for me. It's time for some to go for sure
Watched and pressed pause on this video 20 times last night while I did my own Wolf cut! Turned out so cute! Thanks for sharing!!
Yayyyy! I'm so glad you love your cut!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The same for me. I did it today and it looks amazing. She is so good and so beautiful.
I didn't have time to get to the stylist before the holidays, and your video saved me! Super easy, and got great results - thank you!!
Yay! So happy to hear that!! ☺️❤️
I tried this and let me tell you that I do t have half the amount of hair she does- but AFTER I cut my hair- WOW the volume!! Had I known I would have cut my hair like this years ago! I have wavy hair and the curls are sooo pretty now.
Yay!! I am so glad the cut turned out so well for you!! And thank you for your comment letting me know

So sorry to hear about your experience with your last haircut! I hope you love your results with this technique ☺️
Girl you have BEAUTIFUL, thick hair! So pretty and it looks really healthy
Okay so I did this myself and I actually can't believe how good my hair looks! It isn't flat anymore, it's like flowy it looks really great 😌 thank you for this tutorial 😊
Recommended this to anyone with wavy/ curly hair :)
I want to try this sooo badly! it looks stunnnnning on you!
As someone with 3c curls this was EXTREMELY helpful. It was so simple to understand and anyone with any hair type could use it. My hair looked beautiful afterwards, you are very appreciated
Watched your previous one from a few years ago and came across this one. I looove this one. Exactly what I’m looking for. Doing it tonight. Thank you!
Turned out amazing! Im super happy with the resulte!

Well, I love this method. The video was so easy to follow too!
The next morning I went back at it as well, twice!
I love my LION'S MANE!

I've been waiting to get a curly cut for so long and so excited now that I can do it myself.. honestly the best cut I've ever had so far!
ugh so beautiful. I wish my hair grew as fast as yours
Thank you!! I have my pregnancy hormones to thank for the crazy quick growth haha!
I loved her dress
I tried just tried this, it works wonders. It was my first time cutting my own hair but I'm glad I did
This video made it clear enough what to do that after watching probably 20 videos this past week I cut my own hair for the first time
Yay! Thank you for this comment! I am so happy you found this video so helpful!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just watched your video doing this cut on my curly hair and I love how it turned out! Especially the bangs 😊
Wow beautiful hair, and your eyes! 🤩
What a beautiful girl, my hair is wavy and I want to get a new cut. I'm going to try this one
You have really nice hair. I think I’m gonna do my wolf cut like this too. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ And I love your makeup
Где же взять такие волосы и такую нереально красивую мордашку?!!!! )))) Просто куколка!
I did the cut. I do like how it rounds everything in a matching way. Despite my profile pic, my hair is currently almost as long as yours. But it's baby fine, so it's hard to figure out how to get body into it. I wish I had the bounce you have, it's really pretty!
I'm so glad to hear you're happy with how your cut turned out!
Looked great on my wavy hair, I don't really like the '2020 curly hair look' and prefer a messier style and this cut looks so prettyyyy
Thank you so much!
Can you do this with wet hair? Thanks for the video ❤
I'll do it right now and I'll tell you if it turns out okay
I just did it after taking a shower, and to be honest I don't see any difference in mine maybe because I just cut 1 inch of my hair on every step. So yeah it's okay
I tried it dry and it wasn't good for my hair it was way too all over the place. I went back and did it wet. Not bad!
This was a great tutorial, I've been wanting to do this but could find the right 1 for curls. Can't wait to try
I hope you love your cut!
@@curlytay it came out good, I need to practice to make it better but I'm happy with my results for my 1st time. Thank you.
@@curlytay I went back & cut a little more, it's even better now.

Wow you have so much hair, absolutely gorgeous 😍
Really beautiful. Love the bangs!!
Lovely❤
I am definitely going to do this (and also get my mom to help me)
Going to have to give this a try this next weekend. I have shorter hair so we’ll see how it goes
Gorgeous hair! I have about 1/4 of the hair you do, it's blonde, fine and naturally curly, but I'm going to give this a try!😊
Thank you! I hope you love your cut!
As someone with a similar hair type, interested in knowing the result for your hair!
Thank you sooo much for this video! I have been wanting to try this cut but thought it was just for straight haired girls. I'm going to try it! 🌼
You're so welcome! I hope you love your cut! 😊💗
This worked SO WELL
I broke my finger recently, but the moment i can use my finger again, i am sure gonna try this cut! Thank you for sharing!
You’re so pretty 😍😍😍
Your hair 😍😍😍
Your curls are beautiful. My curls tend to get frizzy near the front top, I've heard this sometimes referred to as frizz halo. What do you recommend to get rid of that
Thank you so much!! I actually just posted a video all about frizz and was to combat it on my channel a few videos back. ☺️
Gorgeous hair!
The cut looks beautiful
Thank you so much Kate! ☺️

You look gorgeous...
Can you link your hair care products?!
Your so beautiful.. 😍
I want to ask a question that my hair are wavy and frizzy (and my face is round) will wolf cut look good on me without styling it (cuz I am to lazy)
Muitooo lindooooo!🥰
I’m so going to try this tonight, hopefully it works. My hairs a but curlier than yours! But I think it’ll work!
I hope you love how your cut turned out! ❤️☺️
@@curlytay I do!!! It turned out amazing! I think I cut my bangs a little too short, but they’ll grow it’s okay!! Thank you for the amazing tutorial!!
Wow that was so simple!!! My video cutting my own hair I nearly died ang give up. You are so calm hahaha!!
Haha thank you!!! I will have to check out your video!
@@curlytay 😍😍😍😍
What brand brush is that ??
Your hair is beautiful. What stylers did u use in this video?
Thank you so much! I styled with NatureLab Curl Cream in this video ☺️
Procrastinating, and fancy doing this to pass the time 😂 if I add an edit I'll let y'all know how it goes 😬
IM GONNA DO THIS LATER. no one here knows how to cut curly hair and i jave been randomly trimming my hair with scissors wver since.
Does this haircut look good with tied up hair ? Like a low or high ponytail and a bun… i rly want to do this but at school we can’t wear our hair down, so i’m just making sure
Yes it does! I wear my hair in a ponytail most days and I love how my curls look with this cut + a ponytail ☺️
@@curlytay thank you so much, i did it and it looked amazing!!
Can I do this on my wet hair?
Can it be done on wet hair?
Just tried this and my hair feels so much better and bouncier!ty 🫶🫶🫶
hi i have like a similar hair type to you what number letter thingy do you have? example: 2b
It's you and me girl, I'm doing it. I usually just do the 1st part, going for it all! 😊 thanks!
I hope you loved your results!! ❤️🥰
I have been cutting my hair using your first method curly haircut video. How is this DIY Wolf Cut different? Does it add an extra layer?
This is a great question! Thank you for asking! The wolf cut creates a more layered, textured, and boho-y look. My original cut creates a more cohesively curly layered look.
Hi why did u twist the front section and cut??is it a curly hair thing??
The twist creates an arch shape ( longer on the sides and shorter in the middle) to avoid a straight across/blunt cut 😊
Can i do this with wet hair?
Yep ☺️
I would love to do this but my curly hair is so damaged:(
I have like 3/4 of the hair you have like ya , my hair just a big mess I mean my hair has natural mix of *wavy curls , straights , bouncy curls , tight curls , loose curls , frizzy hair , etc etc (my hair is literally a mix of every curl and straight and every hair type in the world)* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is totally normal to have all kinds of different textures and curl patterns 😊
I thought the wolf cut usually has shorter bangs and very layered and chopped in.
How often do you cut your Hair?
I cut as needed based on how my hair feels. Usually around every 4 months
