Looks awesome Garrett really reminds me of my TL! I would personally add a large resonator in the middle of the set up just to tone down some of the rasp you can defiantly hear it. Love the content much love from Canada!
Yeah I use to have the 12 TL until someone totalled it, solid car I now have an 18 aspec with 1 cat removed, a cherrybomb m80 as resonator, muffler delete & Cai, & because if the m80 in there it produces a deep growl with no rasp, so I know what you mean, but his sounds really good
What was the set up before the new exhaust. I got a 3.5 4th gen tl and I did both muffler delete and a small resonator in the back. Should o cut the big one in the middle
Damn, you definitely have me rethinking my future exhaust plans. Someone near me is selling a REMUS single exit 002490 0570td exhaust, and I bet it would work well on a setup like this, all while being lighter and cheaper than the setup I want to do.
Ive tried everything on my 4g but the droning is horrible. I went back to stock resonator and muffler delete. Im keptical i may waist another few hundred bucks and still have droning. Question where did they start the 3 inch pipe after the cat or did they remove the cat abd started 3 inch piping there?
Feel you there brotha my 15 Tlx has pcds res delete with a x pipe and had the mufflers deleted as well but drone was unbearable so had to go back with stock mufflers

Also do you need the ktuner for the pops and burbles? or would a j pipe do the trick I recently did a muffler delete on my 11 TL and it lowkey sounds like it wants to pop and burble on low revs but I’m curious to know what I need
I was looking to squeeze more power out of the engine so I got rid of the stock cat back due to exhaust flow restrictions. With the new set up the car pulls a bit harder and it’s noticeable. If you’re looking to get pops and burbles crackle tune with the ktuner would get you there.
I’ve been talking with @RevsAlot and he showed me that ktuner can do the same thing with pedal commanders. You can adjust throttle response with the ktuner 🙌 pretty much.
The old mufflers I had was the XLR8 mufflers only and they were installed on my stock cat back. Unfortunately XLR8 isn’t making exhaust for the 4thgenTL at the moment 😔.
Check out Rv6 JPipe longtube and Rv6 pcd. If you don’t need emissions inspection definitely get rid of the cats and put those Rv6 on (will make your car raspy and loud though.

@@GarrettMedia I've never heard of anyone doing this mod with an auto transmission but it makes a huge difference, I feel it will make those gear changes not bog it down. My old pulley has to weigh like close to 40lbs.
Bro i just use your code to purchase usr clear reflector headlamp i just install into my car two days ago and i take it to the car wash and wash my car after finish i notice inside my headlamp have fog up a little bit ? Do you know why it that does your do that? I might need to call them up and replace for me
Thanks for supporting them I think that you had moisture go in your headlamps due to the fact that after you put it back together it didn’t have enough glue to seal off the headlamps and caused moisture to go inside. You might want to open it again and clean it and reseal it up sorry that happened yo
@@GarrettMedia so your doesn’t have that problem? When you get the headlamp did you use any thing to seal it before you install it on? I think i got bad luck they send me a faulty pair.
@@xtcguy29 yeah man call them up and tell them what happened. I daily my TL and haven’t had any issues also make sure the rubber weather seal on the ballast is there and all the bulbs are tightened properly.

Mines drones all day long haha. It started after the jpipe and by the way I’m completely catless no resonators only a muffler. Very loud

Pretty much. I chose this shop because they charge cheap to make the piping and to install it. I only had to bring the muffler of my choice
