Being a dyslexic myself, i truly respect and look up to Richard Branson, when ever i felt i didn't have a change in life (most of the time at school), i had only to look at him.
He is an amazing human being

listen to this man. THIS is how a CEO or any leader should lead
"Running a company is about finding good people and inspiring them to get the best out of them."
"To save the jobs at the airline and to save the jobs at the record company....I cashed in a chip." I hope that attitude is a big reason why he's successful.

He is a legend. Treats his workers with respect and actually makes them want to work. He was off the coast of Mexico last week testing a new submarine. We were diving there and he was cruising around. Great man who deserves the best.

Richard Branson is such an inspiration to anyone of any age - a truly remarkable person that can say he Definetely has lived life to the full! He's also had a positive impact on other people's lives along the way so he is living proof that good guys still exist. The interviewer wasn't that bad by the way - they seemed to get on quite well

Sir Richard Branson as he admits is not the smartest guy in the world, however he is a visionary and when he has a vision, he then goes about surrounding himself with people smarter than him.. he then gives then a lot of equity in the venture to complete and make the vision a reality and then he steps out of the way to let them do their job and supports them in their cause/crusade however he can and he has become a billionaire from this.
    He is an extraordinary man!

Warren Buffett's pretty cool too. Except that if you go to dinner with him he'll probably expect to split the bill.
Dinner companion: "But you have BILLIONS!!!"
Warren Buffett: "So? A dollar's a dollar you know."

    Dear Sir Richard Branson,
I wrote you a comment about this concept a few weeks ago and the strangest report a week or so ago on our TV news about an office vacuum tube version being looked at somewhere n the USA by some magnate? This must be in the air butterfly theory style?
So, that vacuum tube concept added? Archemedes screw? Solar an wind turbine length driven inner rifle percussion tube pathway circular ring aeloens driving airflow. Leare style craft also with aeloens landing gear - next

    • @rafalpotasz
      @rafalpotasz 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

MsEmotikat Perhaps he was trying to outline that. You don't have to 'pet' a genius per se, I think many people doubted him and Chris, the TED guy, was trying to show throughout this interview that lots of people did so.
Branson's task was showing how they were wrong in a way. I mean the questions were hard and not beating around the bush, you know?

calling others stupid is unwise my friend. Just because others do not share the same interests as you makes them neither less or more valued. Ask any talented bussiness man prepare a meal for 8 from scratch. Ask a mother of 8 to proof math equations. Ask a scientist to formulate a suggessfull pop song. Diversity is to be appreciated. I'm greatful to have these videos availible as much as Chris Crocker's.
    We all know different things.

@failure4u Well it may be true that there was money in the family, but I don't think the money itself had a lot to do with his success, it's more about the attitude and way of thinking that his parents installed in him!
