In Kuwait I had a 01 Durango with the 360 . I was a member of the Kuwait jeep Club . There was only one Jeep that could out climb me .

Yep, the good ol' Magnums. Would go to hell and back and the transfer case go out before the engine. Most prefer the newer, more powerful HEMIs, but a Magnum would last much longer. I'd go for a 5.2 any day.

No 4 low on any of them come on that's how you get stuck in the mud driving in 2wd.
Great video. I am curious though if that Durango has both 4 wheel part time and 4 wheel full time. Part time should give you much better off-road traction than full time. Mine is a 1999 SLT and has both settings along with the 2 wheel drive mode. Check it out.
Also depends if the rear has limited slip. I had three Durango's and the difference between the one that had it and the two that didn't was very noticeable off road.

I had a Jeep WK1 with Quadra drive II. That had "lockers" in the front and back. Out performed the durango all day, minus in the snow on the road.
Id much rather have the LSD for day to day use. Unless your vehicle is purely for off road. The QDII required lots of maintenance and was noisy.

А, как можно было сравнивать дюру, чирка, и Санта Фе? Ну дюра с чирком...понятно! Это монстры и на бездорожье они ведут себя круто , машины крепкие и выносливые , вы бы вместо Санта Фе хотя бы ЛК 100 поставили с дизелем , хоть какая то равнозначная параллель !!!

Темнеменее Сантафе проехал всю дистанцию на ровнее со всеми. На Додже и Джипе нет ни каких блокировок, а на Сантафе есть хоть и электронные. Возможно по этому и ехал на ровне.
На песке надо травиться и ехать внатяг. Вот и весь секрет

Durango’s with a decent set of all terrain tires will go a lot of places that jeep will, keep in mind the jeep is solid axle not independent front suspension

My sante Fe with an 8" lift kit and intake would dominate this shit. when I get my income!e tax back I'm putting 55" super swampers with spinning hubcaps so the mud just spins off. And a winch on the roof cuz if I ever get stuck your gonna need a helicopter to get me out.
