    This is how advertising should be. Jeep seems to get that your channel and some others are the way to market to an audience that actually pays attention to the details. I dig it. Great job TFL and Jeep as well. Cool to see off the lot rigs capable of this....even if they are 50+ lol 🤨

    Nice video. In 19:50 roman ask why the tire pressure went up again. Well, that is because the air ( gas f) expands with heat. When you started the trail it was cooler and the tires where not hot from friction. So if you want to, you could air down again. Greetings

    1) It's really nice to see the father/son thing on full display., Roman is doing great things with his family. Keep it up.
    2) I think this video does a great job of showing how well a completely stock Rubicon can handle those conditions. Kinda shows that it would only take a few modifications to make the Wrangler Rubicon even better than it already is.
    3) Did it take 10 hours because the conditions are that tough? Or was it more because Jeep had to tone it down for all the vehicles and skill levels on the drive? If the latter, if you guys were on your own, how long do you think it would have taken to complete day 1?

    Hey guys, great stuff as always. Just a suggestion on something I've noticed in this as well as other videos where you discuss the features that make a Rubicon a Rubicon. Tommy is always quick to mention the lockers and front sway bar disconnect, which is great, but the 4:1 transfer case ratio is a big deal and unique to the Rubicon since day one. And don't forget the standard rocker protection which has also been a Rubicon staple since 2003.

    Lol I was gonna say... I remember 10ish years ago when I was worried about FLD making it as a show... But I think part of it's sucess is owed to it's honesty, and enclusiveness. In particular I always remember the episode where we spent more time learning Romans new drone, a mavick he hated rather than the car they were reviewing, and I thought that's what people really want, to come along for the ride. Wishing we were doing it. And getting to be there with them. Thanks FLD, I know Tommy and Ronan will appreciate this trip for everything it will offer. Most dad's would kill to get to rest drive the newest jeep on that trail with thier son.

    Would have been nice with Roman in the 4 door and his son in the 2 door and see the difference between the two going over obstacles. It would have been so interesting. I find the 4 door too long and 2 door too short. Maybe something in between with 2 longer doors and a wheelbase between the two would be ideal. More room behind the second row and more manoeuvrable than the 4 door. I bet they would sell a lot of those if they made it.

      Of I remember it as well as the original scrambler pickup version. Just seemed like a more useful length. The original one looked a little weird because it was so narrow. I think with the extra width of the JK and JL it would be perfect. The 2 door is too wide for the length now and looks a little silly.

    I am shopping for this exact Jeep, I want the turbo 4 for the MPG and still want to have fun. I hear people talking about this motor and how much power it puts to the road. The funny thing is, I remember when V8s were making 270 HP and 295 TQ, similar number to the 5.2L and 4.7L. I know, they make power at different RPMs, save your time commenting. My point is, its a good amount of power for the displacement.

      Yeah, I think the seatbelt talk is more for insurance and lawyers. I've heard of a shocking number of people surviving off road accidents they were ejected from. That said, the best way to not die while offroading is to pay attention 100% and take your time. Hard to get crushed by a vehicle you never lost control of.

      Are you referring to the lady that was killed when their Jeep JKU rolled 540 feet down a mountain side?

  • @DailyDriversCarReviews
    @DailyDriversCarReviews 6 ปีที่แล้ว +25

    So Jeep can afford to provide Jeeps that cost $58k and fly you out there and also pay to put you in a fine hotel but yet they refused to cover my engine under warranty on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU because they found mud underneath and then falsely claim it came in through my intake when the air intake is completely clean forcing me to abandoned my Jeep after a month of fighting with them and then telling me a engine wouldn’t be available for it until October sometime leaving me without a vehicle for 4months in total, forcing me to trade it in and roll over several thousand dollars into a newer Jeep because I needed a vehicle and they wouldn’t back there vehicle and refuse to acknowledge there is a flaw in the jk’s engine allowing it to suck in water/mud into the engines oil pan through a breather hose connected to the top of the air box. Hey Jeep ! FU for that I’m not done fighting with you

      Rams Haze thanks, Ive called at least 10 different lawyers and they’re first question is “were you injured do to this mechanical issue?” And since no I wasn’t they won’t handle it, no money in it for them, but I’m still making calls and trying to get noticed by using social media and news outlets, because this isn’t just going to happen to me and I’m sure it’s happened to someone else

      look up the guy who started the 'destroy my Jeep' website. he raffled off his Jeep Liberty and allowed people to take sledgehammers to it etc. ended up paying the Jeep off that way and made decent publicity after Jeep pissed him off. you could do that?
