This camshaft is very aggressive and should only be used on maximum effort combinations. This cam has made 600+ RWHP in a few setups, but attention to detail must be paid to attain those results. It has a very aggressive idle, and makes great top end power at the sacrifice of some low end torque. Cam specs are 247/258 112+3 and comes a 3 bolt timing gear pattern. Our .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers work great with this camshaft.
Due to the longer pivot length and longer scroll of the LS7 rocker arms up to .660" lift can be used without valve tip damage. We recommend maximum open spring pressure of 430 lbs.

Keep it. Its the only Z that will be worth so much in a decade or two. Besides a oldschool one. It was the only time chevy gave props to that model more than the SS.

Hi, current owner checking in. Still on the same BTR stage 4 cam. Put down 620ish rwhp on e85 and the other mods. I think I need a blower though. Love the cam!! Highly recommend it if you can A: live with cam surge or B: tune really well.

The heads are still stock porting but have had the springs/retainers and rocker trunnion upgrades done.

My dad has a 2015 Z/28 🔥 black on black 427 under the hood 505 horse... 6 speed manual. Im in Canada gets put away every year never seen snow or rain only has 22.000km on it.

Would your stage 3 cam be ok with a more stock setup? Only thing I have done to my Gen 5 Z/28 is Kooks 2X3" Headers with O/R connections and a tune.
