My dog woke me up at 4 am, which is unusual. He didn’t bark while inside but wanted out. I opened the door and he took one leap from my front porch all the way to the gate where some guy was standing just staring at my house. It will never leave my mind. He knew that person was there somehow. He’s a German Shepherd and the most loving dog I’ve ever known, except for with that guy.
I had a tiny doxie like that. My parrot had climbed down her cage and was climbing up the coffee table leg to get to me on the couch. Never did that before. Didn't make a sound. I was watching tv and her cage was right next to it. Didn't notice a damned thing. Anyway I open the gate to the kitchen then let out my crated doxie. She shot past me so fast, it made me look. She didn't make a sound. Usually, asked whine and stand on her legs to get the birds. Had my parrot in her mouth. I screamed, grabbed them both and was spinning around. Don't know how I got her to drop the bird; because we've chased that dog and had to pry her jaws open to release a dead bird and to release my pug's face 😳 She killed a baby mole that suddenly ran out from under the drain pipe while we were walking up the stairs. She didn't even hesitate, just snapped it and killed it. Walking her at midnight, she heard? Smelled? A large dog 2 blocks away and took off like a bullet to kick it's azz😳 Fearless... Gentle with people and children... Ready to kill everything else - all 11lbs of her. Had the deep bark of a large dog. Not yappy at all. Damn! I miss that dog! @@mookymoos3130 Thats from the Texas Tribune an online newspaper lol, which are only going off his original date, which is only the raw sentence handed out by the judge that doesn't factor in things like prison programs that reduce time, time already spent in jail for the crime before sentencing, good behavior and other variables that dictate actual release date. The actual TDoJ has his official records which are updated by the courts and what the prison system is going off of. Trust me on this one my man.
@@junkiexl86 ^ This. Sadly having been through the system myself, this is 100% correct. This messed with my family as well as they saw only the sentence the judge gave me and not what my actual release date was (which is updated each month, often lowering the first few months as things like Shawn said, get factored in). But yea, A newspapers information is by no means superior to the information of the actual prison system itself. They don't have up to the minute communications with the courts as the prison system (Texas Department of Justice) has to have. The man is getting out in 2023, so long as he keeps his nose clean inside and doesn't do anything to add more time to his sentence or lose any 'good time'. Also pretty much in every state offenders do not do the full sentence. Its usually 51% for non-violent crimes and 85% for violent crimes.
First he cases the plate of cookies, he’s looking for a particular cookie, if it doesn’t have chocolate chips, he’s not going to waste his time, but if it does have chocolate chips but only contains 4 or less chips, he won’t risk it, what he’s looking for is the perfect sized cookie, too small and it’ll be crunchy, too big and it’ll be gooey, sometimes he doesn’t find the right cookie, so he has to make a completely new batch
It's the reasonable smart person that gets away with the crimes. This guy sounds like this was his proffesion not just to get drug money but that this was his job.
I think it might be the fact that he's not trying to sell his innocence still (wich according to my father, who works corrections, NO criminal is guilty according to them).. so when you meet the ONE convict who owns up to his shit, you really do respect them for their honesty and you can finally see them as a real person again. Imagine it as: your ex cheats on you, you have video proof he did it, and he STILL says he was the most faithful man you could have ever been with. Can you make that relationship work? No. But maybe, just maybe, the one who is remorseful and begs for counseling and a second chance, you might be able to give it a shot.
I have a feeling most of the United States doesn't treat criminals as human beings, and most of the criminals would refuse to cooperate, but in countries that treat criminals humanely, that's normal.
Respect should interpersonal, not socio-economic, or associative. I applaud these two individuals for conversing respectfully as peers within humanity.
I’m an ex cop and ex prison guard. Here’s what he didn’t tell you. They love when you have wooden privacy fences especially if your back yard backs up to a wooded area. Once they jump over that fence the neighbors can’t see them in your yard. They also love to pull burglaries when it rains. They jump your back fence, they are not seen and when they pop that glass or kick your door the rain prevents neighbors from hearing it. They actually hate any type of dog. They are living alarms. You know your dogs different barks. So do your neighbors. If your dog is going nuts the neighbors will investigate. The like you’re house to back up to woods so it’s easy to escape. Don’t have privacy fence. Have alarm signs Have a dog Leave different lights on during different days. Watch for your neighbors and they will watch for you.
This inmate was so informative that he helped me be aware of certain surroundings that I didn't even considered or even thought of about my home. This same informative information & awareness can also help with protecting your car.
Most northern people kinda hide their mentality like that this guy could be insane (hes probably not im not saying he is) and he could be hiding it perfectly....
He is a thief, but he is well mannered and well spoken and seems educated. I suspect that this information was given to help reduce his sentence and if it helps the police out and the justice system and the jails from being overcrowded by us citizens taking different tactics that thwart criminals because of this, then he deserves to have his sentence reduced, because he is doing a good thing.
I dont want to say you are completely wrong... He will probably get reduced sentence for this. But he is doing this only for himself... He seems like a classic sociopath...
I think you’re right. There are plenty of other criminals in need of a 20-30 year sentence more than this man is. Drug addiction will make you do some desperate things, and I believe that he was in a dark place at the time he did the things he did. He’s a non violent offender and I think 5-8 years would be an acceptable amount of time for him to be released back into society. Overcrowded prisons are a large reason why some offenders get light sentences that should carry a heavy load like this man is with 20-30 years. That’s a pedo/murder stint and isn’t necessary for a common criminal.

@@SuperUltimateLP honestly, who would not get this reference? you shouldn't be too proud of yourself lol. either way, the orginsl comment should have more likes.
I am a Security Consultant with 50-years experience in private security service and electronic surveillance and detection equipment. The information testified to in this video is very good information, but a little outdated on alarm systems. Few people have home phones anymore, so nearly all alarm systems communicate by cellphone or Internet. Internet is very, very fast and often alerts the user at the same time as the monitoring station.
If the alerted CCW home owner responds faster than the police the burglar is in serious danger. Properly installed alarm systems are not as easy to defeat as in the past. Internet security cameras alert the user and sometimes the alarm monitoring company with live video who can give descriptions of the burglars and vehicles used and can verify the alarm to expedite police response. Responding police, having more information from eye witnesses viewing live remote video surveillance will respond in force looking for more than just an open door.
Cookie Because the ones that don’t think things out thoroughly are usually without a solid plan, and you might end up seeing them or potentially end up in a confrontation with them. You wouldn’t want that, as those kind of guys might even be drug addicts who might have unpredictable behaviour; which in turn could lead to a dangerous situation if they have a weapon. What started out as a burglary could potentially end up to be something much worse. In general, burglars/thieves like the dude in the video do not want to be seen/noticed, and they plan to avoid potential confrontation. They just want your stuff. Stuff which you should’ve insured, or can work to buy back. It wouldn’t be the end of the world. Your body & life, on the other hand..
There’s one thing I learned and always remember this. “If they come during the day, they want your stuff. If they come during the night, they want you.”

Don't know how I got her to drop the bird; because we've chased that dog and had to pry her jaws open to release a dead bird and to release my pug's face 😳
She killed a baby mole that suddenly ran out from under the drain pipe while we were walking up the stairs. She didn't even hesitate, just snapped it and killed it.
Walking her at midnight, she heard? Smelled? A large dog 2 blocks away and took off like a bullet to kick it's azz😳
Fearless... Gentle with people and children... Ready to kill everything else - all 11lbs of her. Had the deep bark of a large dog. Not yappy at all.
Damn! I miss that dog!
Total bad azz!😂
The bird lived and wasn't shaken at all😅

So, when you see those cop shows where the criminal is screaming bloody murder when the GSD canine officer is attacking them, you can better believe that is all real and not an act.

I love how in Texas the burglar is so polite with the cop. And the cop treats the burglar with respect. They're so matter-of-fact.
I agree. I also appreciate Santa leaving me presents when I was a child.

WTH? He's a typical sociopath and a complete loser. And he basically tricked YOU into believing he's something other than that.

These criminals don’t scare me. The really stupid ones that don’t think anything out scare the crap out of me.
Why is that?
Cookie yea same, it doesn’t make sense to be scared of someone who will most likely set off an alarm
Cookie
Because the ones that don’t think things out thoroughly are usually without a solid plan, and you might end up seeing them or potentially end up in a confrontation with them.
I agree unless I was by our guns I would much rather not be at my house when someone has broken into it I would rather just let them have the stuff
There’s one thing I learned and always remember this.
“If they come during the day, they want your stuff. If they come during the night, they want you.”

- Loud breaking windows
- Have a fake alarm system that goes off when the wires are cut
if u kill an unarmed burglar in your own home and the cops show up, you will literally face criminal charges and jail time. unless you're from one of 3 states
Should be able to kill any intruder in your house honestly, at least shoot at without any repercussions.
And a partridge in a pear tree
So, just make sure you kill them quietly ;)
Such a shame this guy chose this life. He seems like a really smart dude.
Not smart enough to choose a life a crime and end up in prison...
yeah it seems like he would have made alot more money selling wireless alarm systems.
@@gooooooo8483 So what you're saying is anyone who has been a victim of a thief is less intelligent than the person that stole from them? That's about the most ridiculous I've read here. This guy is locked up in a prison. How is that being smart?
he made a deciosion thats right, you forget that you also make one. You decide that its a good thing to kill 30 years of his time while you pay people to keep him locked up. Maybe it would be more ffiecient for all of us ef he would be in program where he could learn how to get a job and have a good life? okay im sorry thinking hurts i know
@@atomicfriendo he says that because the only reason he was able to rob them peoples houses is because they where careless about their security, u can get a badass security system for ur home for 15 bucks a month, Litterally anybody can afford 15 bucks a month. and if u live in a 500 thousand 1 million dollar house and u dont care enough to have such a cheap and highly effective thing protecting your home, then yes that makes u a fucking idiot. and the guy robbing you the smart cookie because what do you know, he got away with thousands of dollars in jewels
Every homeowner needs to hear this information. Thank you for posting it.
Thief: *information*
Cop: mhm
Mhm mhm mhm lol
The officer is practising his human knowledge. He does not judge, and he only sends out conformation. His goal is to get information and let him do the talking. You can try this yourself, and be amazed that most ppl are more than willing to keep and keep talking if you let them this frequently know you are listening.
Ik when I noticed it that’s all I could focus on. Kinda pissed me off.
Lmao
Thanks for the lyrics
I'd love to hear the story of how he ended up getting caught.
rmp5s sounds to me like a wireless alarm. He sure hates those damned things
Wouldn't surprise me! lol
David Doran haahhahahahaa
lol
David, I thought so, too. And probably in that case the people actually had it installed and forgot to warn him with a sign. Homeowners, please, be considerate to your neighborhood burglars and let them know you have alarms!
PLOT TWIST HE'S ACTUALLY SPONSORED BY BAY ALARM AND ADT

Criminals sometimes are smarter than people who went to 6 years of college and most experts in different fields
because those people can be criminals too
Its called intelic or intelligence
Sir Wattson correct intelligence & educated are 2 completely different things some people are book smart but don’t know how the real world works & have no common sense

No one answers the door anymore even when they are home
If Im not expecting you..I won't open my door. Anyone can easily push their way through..
Nope, if I don’t know you are coming… save yourself the trip, gas is expensive
Thing is, many of these tips only work against a pro burglar with a brain like this guy. Those are relatively rare. Most burglars are inexperienced young punks, or people on drugs, or a blend of both.
That's a good point- it seems his advice is catered more towards homes in areas that aren't ghettos/low income
Keep in mind that this pro burglar likes to arrive on foot and leave carrying your safe.
zimsterize well not with TH-cam I mean look at all this Research you are doing lmao
Truth of the matter is, this guy is going for "high-end" jewelry or pricey items. Inexperienced burglars will end up getting caught or meeting their fate because they are not disciplined enough. He was very lucky to last this long as Texas is a "Castle Doctrine" state.
The most important things he said can be applied to any area.
be observant (watch who is watching you) people seem to be his biggest deterrent.
good door/lock
have someone collect mail when away
proper lighting.
I would also add watch what you throw out. Don't advertised new items like tv's by putting the box on the curb for everyone to see.
This guy is so well spoken and respectful, he could easily be someone's buddy and that person never know he was a hardened criminal. I learned a lot from this interview, thank you to this man for sharing his insights from the thieves perspective. Those of us NOT criminally minded really appreciate this level of honesty and insight.
Well spoken? Respectful? How is he respectful? Did you expect him to look like that thief from the Simpsons?
@@byanymeansnecessary398 didn't you?
"Respectful"? Clearly not. But well spoken and polite.

Burglars know how to be burglars. Most homeowners, however, are completely clueless.

Did you not catch his clueless PC name? Lol, and you have a Pepe profile, m8.

Hell one of my roommates i used to have I'm pretty sure he could sleep through a gun fight. I had to wake him up a few times and i had to literally lift the bed and drop it to wake him up. He's also a truck driver and he was asleep in his truck and people where blowing air horns, banging on his truck over and over, they called his company to call him over and over. A police officer broke into his truck and he jumped up and was like can i help you? There was 2 ambulances and multiple cop cars. They thought he was dead LMFAO

LIFE ISNT EASY .... I don't want to force anything on yall but man I've had so many problems and the only true way to come out of them victorious is thru the Lord God Almighty... I know society makes everyone think being religious is for deluded people but please open your eyes it's not.. I plead to yall just say a prayer to God commit all your worries fears, regrets and deepest problems into his hands.. read the bible and keep praying to him in Jesus Name .. I promise you your life will change for the better I promise you
I was pondering on suicide, I wanted to run away from home but I prayed to the Lord God and all of a sudden ..things started moving forward in my life.. I've done so many evil things in my past.. things that i think any other person would kill me for if they were God but God kept me alive and well
I dont want to be seen as the deluded guy in the comment section but I'm literally pouring my heart out
I thought my sins were too bad and that I will never succeed in my dreams.. but I forgot that in John 3:16 it says "For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"
Believe that Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins to be forgiven and to give us eternal life in heaven
You may think I'm crazy but I'm begging just try this read the bible pray and watch yourself rise to heights you never expected
Dont fall into the tricks of the world I'm begging

However...It has been said that stealing becomes an addiction after they start getting away it. Addictive-compulsive behavior, just like any other addiction. If it becomes pleasurable and they can even profit from it, all the more the addiction is intensified.
