Studying to get my CDL permit. I talked to a recruiter last week and I can't wait. What if a person has diabetes but its under control with meds/exercise, would that stop a person from becoming a driver or can they show that its under control?
If I wanted the automatic restriction on my cdl would cypress allow this? I am deciding between cypress , prime, and maverick. I am leaning towards cypress.
We don't allow auto restrictions because we still have manual's in the fleet. We've assisted drivers in getting their restriction lifted if that's of interest. We'd love to have you. Feel free to call us if you have questions. 800.545.1351
Depends on where you live. The equipment that new drivers get assinged is based on the position they hire on for (Local, Short-hual, regional or OTR) and tractor trailer exp. Majority of "non trainers trucks" are the mid-roofs and not Condos.
Hiring? I live close to Tampa on the Clearwater side. Just have zero exp in flatbed but do have about 3-4 mo OTR out west in mountains in winter. Would love a SE regional job.

Cracks me up you know your trainee cannot be sleeping on the top bunk while the tractor is on motion....
