@@ozzmann3217 thanks brother ! And I 100% agree if it’s a full time mechanic bed I’d say minimum 14 ft bed should be used :) . A 11-12ft bed just doesn’t have enough room for full time wrenching and diesel work

Very thought out, efficient build! Only thing I can foresee is that you’ll be adding a permanent job box to the bed, if you haven’t already, because you’re already out of room. Believe me, I have a 14’ low-profile bed that’s had a temporary job box in it since the day I loaded the tools on it in 2006. You can never build a big enough truck or shop in this line of work.
😂lol man ant that the truth ! Beautiful, only thing I would change is the vice not in front of the welder if you lots of grinding and prepping on that vice , that welder sucks I all up And destroys everything inside makes a mess of the machine inside
Yeah I thought it would look cleaner and I'll pull a trailer if i need to bring materials so i wasnt too concerned about the bed space but we actaully atill have quite a bit of bed space left.

What process are ypu changing to go from carbon arc gouging to stick welding? It should just be a change in amperage.
Check out the miller pipe pro 400 it has multiple settings from stick, carbon arc , non flux , flux , 7018 and 6010 settings .
On my smaller 302 airpak machine it only had stick tig and mig settings so I’d swap over to stick for gouging on it
Where do you store your line boring bars?
back bumper theres a comp onside underneath
