FOR ANYONE THAT IS FACING ISSUES WITH MAKING THE HOODIE: If what you want to do is only make a custom hoodie, then make the hoodie and finish what you need to do. BUT, when you are saving, first: 1. Make sure you save it in 24-bit 2. If you're using paint.net, photoshop, or any program that has the "Compress" option, make sure that you UNCHECK the "Compress" option, the hoodie must not be compressed or else it will not work. If you did step 1 but didn't do step 2, then that's the problem. Personally, step 2 was the problem to me as I didn't realize it must not be compressed.
Did you get all of the unlockable costumes in order to unlock the custom hoodie? Cause if you just put the tga file and didnt try wearing the custom hoodie (or if you dont have it), you cant have a custom hoodie.
It doesn't work. I have all the hoodies and I replaced the textures with the Camo Hoodie, but whenever I boot up the game it looks like the default Simon hoodie. I don't know how to make it work, I followed all of the steps correctly the 24 bit and put it in the right folder but it doesn't show up. Maybe it's because I'm using the steam version but I don't know how to do this correctly or theirs something wrong with my version

can you get a clearer version of this video
I do all the steps of the video and put the custom hoodie as a tga file but my hoodie is not seen instead the hoodie that you have by default is seen
I couldn't offer any advice, sorry.
I haven't modded Cry of Fear in years. You could check around the old modding forums.

I imagine it's probably the fact this was the original mod version.
I couldn't tell you really. At any rate, this is a 6 year old video after all.
Thanks for informing me. Also this is the only custom hoodie tutorial I could find.
