  • The 034Motorsport Res-X Resonator Delete and X-Pipe for your B8/B8.5 Audi Q5/SQ5 3.0T unleashes a throaty growl and exotic tone that exudes the sound of performance and warns bystanders that this isn't your average family SUV. The new aggressive exhaust note is accomplished by removing the heavy factory resonator and replacing it with a ready-to-install 034Motorsport Res-X Resonator Delete and integrated X-Pipe.
No welding required! This is a true bolt-in exhaust upgrade that eliminates the quiet factory resonator for a deeper and more aggressive exhaust note, and the incorporated X-Pipe works to balance exhaust pulses from each side of the motor, resulting in a smoother exhaust flow.
Enjoy a more aggressive exhaust note with no noticeable drone inside the cabin at a fraction of the cost of more expensive cat-back systems.

Sounds healthy. Any videos of drive-by passes? Up until now I haven’t been inspired to do any exhaust related mods but this has piqued my interest.

You guys are good with replies so hopefully you can respond on this question.
It’s clear you emphasize the safety and reliability of your tunes but I’m curious about the torque # on the B9/9.5. Even running stage 1 the number on your website says 571ish lb-ft of tq. You’ve said the peak for the stock rods would be exceeding 600 lb-ft of tq. With that number being so close to max already how sure can customers be they won’t bend a rod in the long term? Also would going stage 1 91 map but still using 93 be a safe option to preserve the longevity of the engine?
    Thank you!

We have conducted extensive testing on these engines and feel confident that the torque levels our files provide are well within the capabilities of the engine internals. For stage 1 E85 for example, we had two test cars complete rigorous testing programs of high load low RPM abuse, extensive drag testing with no cooldown, dozens of track events, 30k+ road miles, and in the case of our in house SQ5, over 10000 miles of 5000lb+ towing over steep grades at low RPM, all without issue running Stage 1 and 1+ E85.
We're confident you can safely run our files on any of the fuel maps we provide and not need to be concerned about safety and reliability, that's our #1 priority.
