I think the reason they used Scourge instead of Cyclonus in the upcoming "Rise of the Beast" it's because _Scourge_ sounds more villain-ish.

plus Scourge is supposed to be "the tracker" so it made sense for him to be the main villain in ROTB since his job is to track planets for unicron to devaour and he also tracks optimus throughout the movie
IDW Cyclonus undoubtedly, it’s probably bias for how much I love the Character, but that is how I see Cyclonus when I close my eyes, he is just so great

@@2bdaqueen268 absolutely, Cyclonus turned from a reasonably cool and interesting Deception Henchman for Galvatron to a genuinely beautiful character that had me shedding tears multiple times experiencing his journey~
@@coreymcgivney5897 he’s one of the cons that was more interesting when explored outside of his faction (like thundercracker, Megatron, skyebyte, shockwave,Dirge and Starscream), and one of the ones to date a autobot
There's something about the colors with the Animated version that really appeal to me. When they give him the darker greay face and such, it just makes him look more menacing.
RID Cyclonus looks like the Gundam cosplayer that shows up to the Con and needs help getting through the door because there's just so much stuff on his body
I like cyclonus having a lavender color scheme. Armada cyclonus felt very unique. The 2015 design just felt very interesting.

I actually like SG Cyclonus in HR's colors. I like how its a reference to HR's mistake in 86, yet for Cyclonus, he PURPOSEFULLY shot his leader. So hopefully HR can finally catch a break lol

I like your idea of Armada Cyclonus being the one Unicron reformatted, Skywarp is one of my favorite seekers and he never really felt like the same character as Cyclonus. But I do love Cyclonus, and he’s one of my favorite “baddys”
Seeing Cyclonus in animated really made me want to see more of the deceptions in animated seeing a deception that was basically another deception but reborn be an actual existing character on it's own was fascinating to me
keep in mind I didn't know about Armada at the time when watching animated for the first time

Honestly, if that was made into a storyline, that would be badass as hell. Coming from someone who also grew up with Armada Cyclonus.
OMG YOU ACTUALLY USED THE DS QUOTE I SUGGESTED!!!! And your right, the DS WFC had so many great desgins that needed to be in the console version. Underrated game imo
I remember getting the Megabloks Cyclonus set. Man i loved that thing.
Ok after seeing the toy for Snowcat, I have one question, why didn't we get a redo of this toy in the modern lines?
Legacy could easily just use the Siege Ironhide mold to make a new Snowcat. Just remold the legs to have treads moulded in with little wheels on the bottom to help it role.
The guy would fit super well into that mold.

I agree on hoping Armada Cyclonus coming back as a toy. if not Legacy I'm hoping with Studio series gamer edition if it looks into the Armada game, be a good place to give us Red Alert too and maybe a decepticlone and minicons
My favorite part about Armada Cyclonus is how there were several Minicons that could uniquely powerlink with him that had parts that would move whenever you pulled his trigger

Animated didn't need to make Cyclonus as a raw as he was in that show, but I will forever love that show for that.

It's actually hard for me to see which designs are put where without being told.
I’d think Armada Cyclonus’s alt mode is his Earth mode and his G1 persona is for space travel - would have some sort of changing device to change alternate modes

My favorite would have to be Animated.
I also quite like G1 movie, G1 Season 3, Kingdom, Universe 2008, Armada Powerlinx, Energon Snowcat, IDW designs at 7:42 7:48 and 7:59, IDW 2.0, Shattered Glass, Earth Wars, Forged to Fight, Legends game, RiD 2015 regular design and Autobot disguise, Tiny Titans, and dou-hong.
If you cut the concept art for the cancelled game at 13:45 on the green and grey part of the nosecome, that's just Prime Megatron jet mode.

Oh my gosh, I instantly recognized the Armada soundtrack, don’t have it as memorized as Energon, but the trilogy had a never forget soundtrack that kept me watching till the end.
Cyclonus the Two-Horned Conhead Decepticon
Armada isn't just unique from previous looks, an attack helicopter fits the name. Cyclonus. Wind. Spirals. You know, like a rotor blade. And having a driller minicon only enhances the name theming.
The Kingdom figure is really great, it's just a shame that the hands and hips dip in color after a while
I loved him in armada even tho its another guy, 😂
But the Warrior of the 86 tier was the goat, his kingdom figure prooved it
I like his art on his Magic the Gathering card a lot too

We've had Galvatron in aoe & we're getting Scourge in rotb. My biggest question when it always came to these movies was....WHERE THE HECK IS CYCLONUS!(And yes I know two different universes....and this is coming from a Bayverse/variety of different in this franchise fan😅)
Cyclonus has my favorite name in the franchise. Though to be fair, that might be because of the way Orson Welles said it.

TR cyclonus has a horrible problem: it's the only cyclonus that looks like a veicle with a bot hanging off him, the model itself is not really bad. it would have got much more return from a slightly rework of the chest, but that's understeandable. IMO, the fact he combines is worth the trade. now, if only the color was slightly more vibrant. dare I say, it could have been the one from IDW2 and FtF easilly
the HW models really shows which bot was inspired by a real counterpart and which wasn't, and poor cycluns is in the latter category
the kingdom toy is definetivelly worth all of the praise, both base and GenSel version
