This video has opened my eyes on some personal problem i've had for years. I'm not "incapable of loving", i'm just looking for a particular set of qualities within a person, and failed to do so yet. My every attempt at a relationship was out of a severe desire to have one, and out of fear that the next chance might never come. This is why i never felt anything, not because i'm inherently broken. And i might as well keep trying instead of giving up. Thank you.

I know there isn't much context to your situation in the comment, but it moved me. There's so many people on this planet, and depending on what your preferences are, someone might fill that roll one day. But also remember, no human is perfect. You aren't, and your partner won't be either. This doesn't mean you should lower your standards, but you have to accept the highs and lows of life. It takes work, communication, and flexability to maintain a relationship. So many people just walk out on their partners these days for the silliest of things. We all must humble ourselves, or else no bond will form. Don't give up! 😊
i dont know what to love more: the crescendo of their relationship (and their friendship with whirl), the increasingly overpowered twists the writers employ to avoid the burial of the gays, cyclonus giving rodimus a lil sweet as hell thank you kiss, or whirl getting arrested 84 times and the lads deciding the best way to make him stop continuously committing felonies or at least keep an eye on him is to just have him as their queerplatonic/romantic housemate
I just started the comics- this video gave me the inner peace of knowing that Cyclonus and Tailgate will have their happy ending. So glad Whirl got some love too. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
One of my favorite trinities, with Whirl. Does has some issues, Cyclonus going from threatening Whirl and beating up Tailgate to the romantic who mutilated himself when he thought Tailgate was dying and invited Whirl to live with them didn't feel completely organic to me. Granted, nowhere near as bad as Megatron going pacifist because he only just learned people die in wars. 😀 But the "You're pathetic" *Kick* still lingers against the 180 turn, and the fact Whirl nearly got Tailgate killed when trying to off Cyclonus, which they both never learn about, casts a serious pall over the happy "3s company" ending where they all live together. But still, the good by far outweighs the nitpicks. Cyke's talk with Whirl alone during the DJD timeout and prep was heartwarming.
With Whirl; I think some part of him realizes that each of those two needs the other to keep them grounded; lest they become a similar kind of unhinged that he descended to after his empurata and time as a conscripted soldier. I really need to read the works; the new takes on some of these characters is fascinating.

Amazing video!! I just recently finished MTMTE and Lost Light and I'm absolutely in love with the story and characters from it even though I had not consumed any Transformers content beforehands. Cyclonus became one of my faves (along with Rung and Megatron) and his relationship with Tailgate especially on rereads is so intriguing and heartfelt. I would love to see a video on Chromedome and Rewind's relationship at some point if you're interested in doing one on them too
