Notice how Chris starts to smile when Nigel says 'he's now in with the big boys' and has trouble answering he next question straight away. I think he had to stop from laughing.
Eubank and Benn's rivalry was one of the classics of boxing that often occurs. Ali and Frazer was the same and so was Tyson and Holyfield. The talker and flair guy vs the tough warrior guy, great stuff
Love Eubank, love Benn. Eubank's stance whilst looking at the camera is just brilliant. Never see that nowadays. Funny as fuck. Great time for British Boxing.
Mint. Love this vid, thanks for uploading. Eubank and Benn, greats individually but legendary together. They owe each other a lot, and we owe them too.

Interesting that both nigel benn and ambrose mendy wore green suits. Apparently eubank hated green. Anyway, both great characters, miss those big saturdays nights fights on ITV.
I used to dislike Chris Eubanks but now I understand the method behind the madness. He knew what he was doing. His entire attitude used to annoy NB and that why he lost the first fight because he let it get personal.
I still go back to that interview. It was a classic. Both Eubank and Benn enjoyed it, tremendous how tgey bounced off each other. Ambrose was funny too...Ahh, those were the days.
Benns achievements in boxing out weighed what Eubank managed.Respect to Eubank for beating Benn, but i think Benn did enough in the rematch to get his revenge.
you're incorrect, eubank was not a particularly good boxer. his footwork very poor, he lunged, fell off balance, couldn't sustain any offence & had poor stamina. Watson was a pure boxer, but he was limited & was, at best european class. Benn, however, was truly world class & although he lost to both (it was not because they were better than him) he had the most accomplished record. Aside from Benn, there was no one on sr's record.....he avoided every ranked american & struggled against handpicked bums (ray close, gary stretch, dan sherry, , dan schommer etc, for a tin pot wbo belt) he lost against thompson (twice), calzaghe, steve collins (twice).....
That was more true for me when he lost the Watson fight. After that, I kind of accepted his limitations and knew he couldn't roll over people at the top levels like his dark destroyer days. Eubank was right, Benn was rather one dimensional.
+Janoy Braun yes they did by the time the millennium arrived benn stated his love for eubank and thanked him to help him make money, they even go church together.
Look at Benn's 2016 videos on Eubank. Then watch the Gladiators programme they were on. Benn can't stand him and they are still discussing a third fight.
You could simply never create/write a better interview about a boxing contract signing imo It's perfect! I love it. Sadly boxing has nothing like this anymore, they just seem to be meat-heads, saying they will kill each other....
Always coming back to watch this clip. Forget today's run-of-the-mill trash talk, this was a bitter, intense rivalry. Even watching this is kind of uncomfortable. Fair play to Eubank - I wouldn't have wanted to get in the ring with Nigel!
"Let's have some parliamentary procedure around here, alright?" --- Even Benn had to smile on that one.
Because it was so typically Euwank!
@@tonyneillaw Eubank is one of the British boxing greats

LCN 1985 that looks literally made my day! I laughed more hard than I have 10 months. It was great to say the least
+borderlord i dont think it was meant comicly! He dead serious :)
It basically means, wait your turn. In the Houses of Parliament you have to make time for others to put their points across. Eubank is class.
Chris: "I don't hate the man, I just want his title."
Nigel: "I, personally, really hate the man."

Someone said trash talking each other whilst sitting next to each other is the most British thing I’ve ever. Never a truer word. 😂
Mr Nigel Benn looks like a villain.
And unlike some of the scumbags today they didn't even have to swear once to get their points across. Both great boxers.

Eubank pure class love him awesome 🥊
im reading the book on these two now called 'The Hate game' and its brilliant. Must read

Eubank was calm and spoke with Wisdom and had no anger in him. The rest were angry.
