      When you watch his old fights you understand how good he actually was, I would show young fighters his fights before anyone else, especially for the footwork.

Naz however was a great British fighter but could be a horrible arrogant prick back in his day .However over the last few years he seems a nicer person and more down to earth.

    This man is a inspiration to me. He's the only true rebel I've ever seen. He's prim and proper but he would still whip anyone anytime anywhere in a sharp suit and still come out looking fresh. He speaks like a teacher and has so much self respect but nobody would have guessed he comes from the streets. A True inspiration for someone like me

    Yes, I certainly appreciate him these days. He's honest. He's clearly intelligent. He's witty. He was fantastic for British boxing even though I didn't see that at the time. My mistake.

    In his heyday no-one took time to listen to him all they wanted to do was hate because of his "stage" arrogance. But now he's retired you can only listen to him and he's such an exacting man. He's one of a kind. True pro in the ring and out of the ring. What a role model!

    Can’t hate this guy.. who can explain it better? No one. I was so privileged in the amateurs to share the ring and many many training sessions, runing and sprits session with JR and every time his father came to our gym was just incredible. He once told me your duty as a fighter isn’t just to be a champion in boxing but in life in its self. Never forget those words from him.

    I think he has a few IQ points above average at best but he has a strong system of thought and self reflection which over the years has allowed him to accumulate knowledge (and vocabulary) in a very functional way. Couple that with a great boxing career and an eclectic and sometimes terrible dress sense... He's definitely one of life's more interesting characters; and I think he's fantastic.

    If you are unsure, go read his book which is mentioned at the start. Read it years ago and I think I recall how he said he had to jabs for 2 years. Yes, only jabs. Much more than that obvs but a great respect for a great man.

    As weird as u may think he’s talking if u pin ur ears back man has more sense than any boxer been whacked about as much as he does ... great guy good for all of us to see him grow as a human completely different animal now we seen him grow sometimes waffles in terms most don’t understand tho good guy good dad 🤝👏💪🏻

    Guy was good because he had no weakness. A solid boxer who lacked nothing and work ethic made him a real rock in the ring. Great boxer no matter what you think of him
