I've lived in Costa Rica for 8 years near the town of Atenas, which has the tagline "The Best Climate in the World." I'm sure it isn't, but it's darn good. It's rarely too hot, never cold, just perfect! There is no air conditioning or heat. The cost of living is higher than in many countries, but for that, you get a stable government, an educated and wonderful population, and excellent healthcare. We just love the experience of living here. Just be prepared - it's different. We had a lot to learn when we came.
Hi, thanks for your comment and your keen observation. 😊 I used some pictures of South Africa and Table Mountain to illustrate the diversity and beauty of Costa Rica, which has a similar climate and landscape. I hope you enjoyed the video and learned something new about this amazing country. If you are interested in retiring there, please check out the links in the description for more information. And don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more videos like this. Cheers! 😊
Thank you for your comment! It’s great to hear that you love Guanacaste. Everyone has a place that holds a special place in their heart. Keep enjoying the beauty of Nandayure Carmona, Guanacaste! 😊
We love Costa Rica and looked at Real Estate but it's high to live there. CR has the highest cost of living than any Cental or South American country on average. It is a cash society and any house purchase is in cash.....who has $300,000 in cash and that is a low end decent house.
Some people like to get away from everything, and stay in a very small country town, you thinking about Rich gringo, to come a spend money wearing Nikes shoes and going to Automercado supermarket, no is not life, you won't last one year in Costa Rica, listening to this video,
Haha, well, I'll make sure to leave my Nikes at home when I visit Costa Rica! But hey, it's all about exploring different cultures and embracing new experiences, right?
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your observation about Quepos and the marina. Regarding the prices, they are based on the current market trends. We aim to provide a broad perspective and encourage viewers to conduct further research for specific locations and pricing. Stay tuned for more detailed videos in the future. 🌴
Thanks for your comment. Costa Rica does allow legal gun ownership, but with some restrictions to reduce violence and crime. I respect your choice to leave, but I also invite you to appreciate the benefits of living in a peaceful country with no army. Costa Rica is beautiful and diverse, and I hope you can visit again. Best regards. 🇨🇷
@@TheGlobalAdventures_ I acquired citizenship while living there. I chose to avoid any problems things just got to bad. Imagine this I lived in Grecia there were no bars on doors or windows even in SJ. It’s a shame how it went I really did land in Paradise when I first arrived. Good luck
Maybe it depends on where you ate in Costa Rica! We have crime in our small city. Toronto has crime. It's not just Costa Rica. Depends on the area and don't go out at night by yourself. It's common sense!
Just spent 11 days in Montezuma. Enjoyed the whole time
11 days in paradise - sounds like you've unlocked the secret to eternal vacation!

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always valuable to hear from others who are navigating the real estate landscape in Costa Rica.
💥Costa Rica Video: Why are you using Cape Town images (Table Mountain) to advertise Costa Rica?
Some of your video is not of the location you are talking about.

Thank you for your comments :)
Home prices are EXTREMELY high !!! I’m assuming that real estate brokers think foreigners are all rich and going to pay first world pricing
Not one shot of Quepos is actually shown, just the marina. The price on houses are gringo prices for sure.

Beautiful ,but Costa Rica have problem with water and hydro.
Thank you for pointing out the issues, we need to work together to find solutions.
Not all gringos are wealthy. The sad part is the ones that are forget humility and kindness towards people.
Totally agree! It's all about staying grounded and treating everyone with kindness.
CR is a very bad choice😅😅
I lived in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 23 years I left there. I wouldn’t live there without the right to carry a gun.

Yeah, that's my hitch as well. We are just so accustomed to carrying.
