Thankyou Dr. Vendrame for such awesome videos. Facts beautifully explained and supported by scientific studies. All your videos are fantastic. I don't know why these videos have such low views. World must watch them, they need them....

So whole grains are good to go?
    Better than non?
    What about oats?
Can we really find whole oats? Does it contain the bran and the germ? Probably not right? What about the steel cut oats. Not sure about those too. What about phytic acid? Might be a bit too much no? What is whole, what is refined? Cooked refined?

I always heard from my parents that whole wheat bread was healthier but I never really knew why. I never realized just how unhealthy white bread is. And also I thought brown bread is always healthier or whole wheat. Thank you for making this video. I will definately change this in my diet.

But... Whole grains must be properly fermented, to make minerals bio-available by breaking down anti-nutrients in the outer layers of the whole grain. These are Nature's way of protecting the seeds from decay, and it's also why traditional cultures typically used sprouting and souring to prepare whole grains. If you research traditional food preparation methods, the same patterns are always there... slow preparation of whole grains using soaking, sprouting, and beneficial bacteria are very common.

Prefer the biologic variants if available. Then its soaking maybe could help too
