In a way "Superman" is another answer to the hate Super Junior gets and it became the first anthem for the group and the fandom, and especially you can read the phrase "the last man standing" in many ELF's comments.
All the members can do the deep voice but I think the deepest ones here are from Siwon, Kyuhyun, Yesung and especially Shindong.
I recommend you take a look at "What's Your Name" in SS8 to appreciate how deep Shindong's voice can be.

Love Leeteuk's snotty rap part in "Superman". Even though he's officially one of the supporting rappers, he never got much opportunity. His singing voice is also underrated: it is not only soft and lovely, he also has the most powerful belt, a hint of which is given when he introduces himself with his name, that he shouts with a long extended breath into the arena. They once actually measured the decibels and he won.

I was going to suggest The Crown as well. The Crown is the first song on the 9th Album and one of my favorite hype songs, and leads directly into SUPER Clap which I love so much as a combination.

It was in Tokyo Dome, and the capacity is 55000 people.
Suju held 2 days concert and both days were sold out with around 400k fans tried to book the tickets in the second leg. And it's reported that all the tickets were sold out.
Getting Suju's super show tickets is such a war even until now. Lol. I can't even blink for a second, the tickets always get sold out too fast 😭
That's awesome! Sounds like they could have an entire week-long event, even at such a huge venue.

That song is for their antis who keeps on pestering them, that they said suju is alone and nobody likes them. They even said that nobody know super juniors existence. Also mamacita is the other song for haters.

Glad you liked this, it's one of my favs too, not only the song, but also the staging. The drum beat gives it a tribal kind of feel, which is very powerful for an arena concert opening. Like the costumes of the Korean version better though. Before their own anthem, their subunit SuJu T had already covered a song by a Korean group Norazo named "Super Man", also no video, only a live performance in SS2, it's hilarious. As for the rapping, Koreans take great pride in speaking well, and the language is quite difficult even for natives. To this day SuJu always tease Donghae who is from a provincial town about his accent. They participated in a trot song Karaoke contest once where the object was simply to not make any mistake with the lyrics for a minute. In SS7 Leeteuk read a letter to the members that mentioned the ones that had left as well, and that made him cry.
This performance is in the Tokyo Dome, it's one of the most prestigious concert venues in Asia, even for Western artists. SuJu were the third Korean artists to perform there, after the soloist Rain and TVXQ. It houses over 50.000 people. Personally I feel if you have a seat too far away from the stage even with screens it's better to stay home and watch the performance on TV or DVD. But the live atmosphere of SuJu concerts is great. I saw SS8 in Japan, they toured different smaller cities instead of just Tokyo, that concert was "only" 30.0000 people or so.
They don't have a name for their light sticks, and in fact, in Japan they have different ones in every city! Leeteuk contributed to the design of their best-known, standard Korean one, which is reminiscent of the "Superman" logo.

Was it Leeteuk's design for Super Junior's channel logo originally or am I wrong? I love that lightstick more because of Leeteuk's design than the shape of it.
@@mywish3589 I don't know about the channel logo. I even won a ticket for a meet & greet together with only 50 people after the show, that made the experience completely surreal.
@@kpopauntie My fav concerts are SS6, SS8 and SS7, but they all have their moments. Best numbers in SS8 for me were the intro, "The Crown" this time (but "Superman" was played as a kind of teaser before it started), "Heads Up" (one of their sexiest numbers ever) and a "KRY dance break" (ie the ballad subunit Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung), so they are not the dance line, but similar to his solo "Moves Like Jagger" (Maroon 5 cover) in SS4 Ryeowook brought the house down with his sexy dance in that performance.
@@aligensa ok, now i'm extremely jealous. Personally, if I ever get to go to a Super Show, I'd like to sit far away so I can have a full view of the stage and the fans at the same time. Even if I have to go with binoculars.

For context the average life span of a kpop group is 5 years, at this point SUJU had already outlasted that and there were comments that they were aging out of it and this song was the response. It was meant to be a 'we still have the skill and the support of who we need to continue so enjoy that'. SUJU have done a number of songs which called out the hate they get for being an older than average group, after this came mamacita and then 2ya2yao.
(2ya2yao is funny because its them essentially going 'we're so good at showmanship we could sing a nursery rhyme and you wouldn't notice'. )
But they are the 3rd oldest active kpop group around and the 2 groups who have gone long took hiatuses which SUJU never did, so they've outlasted all expectations

That deep low base belongs to Kyuhyun
He has a very nice low voice register which I say unique for a kpop singer
But he normally sings more lightly and sweetly nowadays (He is the voice you picked out in the mango video)
Plus the voice of a singer evolves through time and his voice has evolved too so for me Kyuhyun sounds quite different today compared to that era
Nonetheless it’s undeniable that he has been an outstanding singer all along😊

This is Suju's anthem, no doubt. Every now and then, it'll get in my head and I'll listen to it all day on repeat. Last man standing! 💙 Another great one like it is The Crown.
It's true, one of the (many) reasons I respect Super Junior so much is that they don't treat past members like black holes never to be spoken of again, and they don't go out of their way to hide how close they still are either. Even just recently one of the current members had a tragedy in the family (very sudden, they got the news just as SJ were leaving the country for a show) and some of the past members immediately stepped up to help since not everyone could stay behind. No matter what, Super Junior is family.
P.S., I'm very sorry to hear about your cat Grace. I only just saw the post about it. :(

This is Super show 4 in 2012 at Tokyo dome, that was showed on two days, 55.000 fans/day. SJ got 110.000 fans/2 days.
