This bus looks like an electric Bluebird All-American but yet it has some IC switches and mirrors and Thomas seats. It's a tall bus but yet there's barely any headroom on the inside. It is pretty cool that you got to do a tour around it though.
This bus does look like a Blue Bird D3 or T3 RE. Even though it's more of an FE on the back. But I find it interesting that it is a Green Power. But looks like a Blue Bird more than a Thomas. I find it more interesting that it uses Thomas seats. So it kind of has a mix of each manufacturers. That font on the back door that says emergency door is a Thomas font.
These are made in Malaysia by Gemilang Coachworks. They were originally imported directly from Malaysia as CBU (complete built-up) buses but they set up an assembly facility in WV as a Buy America compliance loophole. The buses are still manufactured in Malaysia as CKD kits which are assembled into complete buses in the US. This might also explain why there are so many MAN parts because they have a longstanding business relationship with them.
I actually sorta like the GreenPower Beast a bit. I love the interior but the outside needs more work. The rear windows need a change in design. Though, I dont think its a bad bus! It does look like a knock off D3 bus lol
The BEAST is here! I’m surprised that Cabell is getting 11 of these. Since the plant is around one mile from one of Kanawha County’s bus garage. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got those here too.
I spotted E1, 2 and 3 in Omps, WV charging in the state park last night. It was dark so I thought at first they were just All Americans without the black headlight surrounds. Cool to find out I saw something rare. I'm going back today to see if they're still there.
I’m not a fan of new buses my school district has had problems with new buses I’m lucky I ride a 1996 ford bluebird most days but sometimes I ride a 2001 Thomas freightliner with a different driver I have a driver that swaps between people
Definitely not a fan.. they have a long way to go before school buses go electric. This thing looks like a T3 and IC parts bin special that was designed by some high school kid paying around on the computer in class lol
First time I’ve really seen the inside. Not a fan of the switches and parking brake location, plus the emergency exit drop. The stop arm is cool though. Have you heard this in motion? I hear they have trolley bell sounds, that sounds annoying.
Is it just me, or does the beast look not only look like a rip off of the D3’s, but it looks like some Little Tikes toy lmao
It does and I also thought it was s D3re and I was like he finally is reviewing a D3 and I read the sub title and I'm like nope not a d3
Yo that’s what I was abt to say

I am not a fan of the design of the Beast. It honestly looks like a knockoff BlueBird D3/T3.

It looks like it should only be used for a transit bus or maybe an activity bus, looks unsafe too. It’s a huge ripoff of the D3 and T3.

I’m pretty sure that where I live, the Kern County Superintendent of Schools will have a TON of these to replace their outdated CNG buses.

I like this school bus, Change my mind bro.
Yeah I sorta like it too
@Bus 1's Favorite
You love Kensington 209
My bus driver would drop dead seeing this
I hope my district doesn’t get greenpower cuz I would flip out if I see one in person but anyways nice video. Keep up the good work
I like this bus
For some odd reason this bus looks like one I’ve seen in a kids book when I was younger
Over it loooks cheap and does not work well for big or tall people
Looks like a Gillig Phantom school bus
It does with the All American lower front
Saw it up in mon county I think Mon county got a few of the little small buses for electric but not the big ones
this bus is so cool looking i can see you hitting your head ouch that would hurt me i am only 5"8 i guess which is pretty tall in my opinion
Perfect for the Oregon market since they can replace the D3s with this. We have a bunch of D3
One word: PAIN.
This is the only school bus I needed to drive.
I'm not even surprised... Do they really have to buy one green power for once?
Think you confused the P with the M in the vin, this is actually a 2021, the P is apart of the body #

Our oldest bus is a 2011 and they are being retired this year

They should get bluebird electric buses or Thomas electric buses
I hope Ohio gets these GreenPowers next!
is greenpower by blue bird? since this school bus looks like a blue bird all American school bus
Nope. It's a D3 clone
0:54 that steering wheel is from MAN truck and bus in Germany
B.E.A.S.T. as opposed to a Buoyancy Operated Aquatic Transport (B.O.A.T.)?
It’s probably elavated to fit the batteries.
Possibly, but all of the competition from the big three manufacturers still use current platforms without having to raise the body 🤷♂️

There’s no way this bus is 14ft 6inchs tall. Bridges have to be at least 13ft 6inches when they are built.
Monongalia county had E1 for the test run
This is my favorite school bus
greenpowers are definitely not my favorite buses.
No more thomas for cabell?
I know this thing isn’t gonna last long looks cheap
The one up here in Ohio County WV has already broken down in the middle of the road with students on it.
At 9:10 you should’ve said, this is the future
You are an cutie
What an ugly duckling from the exterior. Driver's area looks nice though
Eww I don't like it
WORST looking school bus EVER!!!
🤮🤮🤮
I do not like it I think it's ugly
It look A Lot Like A Bluebird All American D3RE
