From what i know my district had some 1996 bluebird TC2000s I heard buses 73 through 77 were CNG and bus 78 which I have a couple videos on my channel was a diesel.
Never knew about the TCEVs or the Thomas one, and that 1000RE is something else! My district had a few early TC/2000s, not sure the exact years but one still survives a couple towns north on the side of the road

As the photo could hint about that, it was the All-American's rebadging work done by Autobus Girardin (Drummondville, Quebec based Blue Bird dealer and Micro Bird minibus assembly plant) in order to satisfy French-speaking clients, many of them having a dislike of what's "English". Even the alternate wording of "Canadian" (found in all All-Americans sold in Western Canada dealers) doesn't make the cut, so this bland model name rebadging (and its successors) is found from Ontario eastward, including Quebec and the Maritimes, where Girardin is THE dealer there. As a hint, see the top sign displaying "ÉCOLIERS" (instead of "SCHOOL BUS"), and the Girardin sticker, right behind the side wall marker/flasher below the 2nd row window...
The TC3000 was a All American was only used in Quebec Canada and Export Countries. The Rest of Canada the All American was named the All Canadian. I rode on TC/2000 in high school.

Great documentary video of the tc2000 the 91 model looked very unique with the grill Thomas Vista look I'm surprised they didn't make alot of those and the tc1000 was a nice mini bus low Rider type I'm California with those crown buses was very ugly loud and slow no style to them I'm glad they change to bluebird I'm its sad they discontinued this model tc2000 love the Cummins engine in them but still see them time to time love the 96 models thru 03 school buses 🚌
Blue Bird had a chance to have EV TC2000s and didn't keep at it? I'm so saddened by them considering that buses are just now starting to go EV like cars and trucks have. Europe has an entire fleet of EV buses (took a trip to Sweden and saw them) and if Blue Bird would've stayed active on the EV buses back in 94, we could've beaten the entire world in EV buses. That aside, very great video, sir. I've always loved the TC2000s. I had a chance to drive one as well. Quality product from Blue Bird.

Our district had Bluebird TC/2000s and All American FE busses, but they got rid of them in the 2010s and the 2020s. So I remember that.

I remember Dallas isd had tones of the propane tc2000fe. They ran em all the way until 2012/2013. 427 gas v8.
The late 80's All American is what I grew up riding to school. Still hands down my favorite bus of all time
That TC1000 RE even has G2 warning lights, so it’s definitely a one of a kind bus.

5:19 My school district had 5 1996 TC2000 FEs with CNG engines, possibly Cummins 5.9L. They were all retired early due to issues with the engines.

My district had a bunch of short TC2000s in the special needs fleet. Honestly didn't like them too much. Not super common though
