Unreal engine has a ton of problems with optimization, it requires stuff like shader compile on launch. Stalker 2 is a gold recent example. Only good thing with unreal is that they can hire talents much easier.
Gas mines of all things is like a slap in the face. No one asked for it but I can see the utility in it. The Seaf troopers on the other hand are going to be fun to drop into missions given the ai actually provides some support.
Gas Grenades are literally 15 second stun grenades, the mines are going to be SUPER perfect for choke points. And enemy that runs into them gets damaged AND "stunned", in essence, for 15 seconds - doing nothing at all.
Gas mines will be needed. The reason for this is because they'll also be effective against gloom infected enemies. We **SHOULD** will see them as soon as we liberate one of the planets in the major order.
I think gas mines will be the best of the mines as they will have an actual utility, but they will be primarily useful against bugs with the blind effect. Won't kill the bugs outright and will do jack all to chargers and titans but would be useful on flag and defense missions. Give you some breathing space atleast.
Erm, Gas Grenades are like a 15 second stun - and they DO work against Chargers (and Hulks and Tanks, even). The only things they do not effect (gas in general) are the Bile Titans and the Striders, but that makes good sense.
I’m just as excited for the platoon idea as I am for the illuminate to be totally honest. Because I really do have a lot of friends that play daily with me. 1 thing I’m worried about is I hope there’s not a member limit to the clan system. I’d hate to have to pick and choose who can join and who can’t. The ranking system looks amazing too for the clan. Gives us another reason to grind.
We saw leaked working vehicles over 6 months ago, still not implemented. Hopefully they have an update coming before the holidays. Moved on until something worthwhile drops.

That actually was an idea that they scrapped, because they had to work with an outdated engine (when they worked on it), and that is why you see so many bugs when an update comes out because its literal spaghetti code that they work on, etc.
Clan strats are a huge waste. Solo players get screwed over and clan strats get monopolized. There isn't any good way to look at them, and frankly, they should be cut if that is the plan.
First people complain that warbonds come out too frequently and feel underwhelming, so they agree to allow down and put more thought into their releases. War Bonds slow down, and they offer a utility strategym with it's own mechanic and use, and people complain about not enough content fast enough... Sounds like unsatisfiable players are setting them up to fail with their demands while playing the victim... Decide what you want before crying about what you do or do not have already lol.
Those "platoon" stratagems are definitely just half baked mods. For one, the player has a clone trooper mod on their Helldiver. For second, all of those call ins seem rather... lacking in strategy. Nuking a whole fortress/nest? Doesn't sound like something a team based squad shooter benefits from

@@Decoy96 Nope, the developers admitted the ragdolling is too much, and with the newer enemies and when they reworked explosions - that is when many players started gettingn sick of ragdolling (hence the request to emote WHILST ragdolling is a highly requested feature, to tone down the monotonous nature of seeing your Helldiver fly helplessly - mostly against the Automatons).

I love helldivers, but I haven't streamed any content for the past 2 - 3 weeks due to the lack of content and Arrowhead constantly dropping the ball! I hope they sort it out soon, or I'm deleting it from my ps5!
I’d honestly prefer more melee options or a minigun for better crowd control or like a suit that enhances like physical abilities, so slower stamina depletion, more health, and stuff like that, that would include a melee weapon with it, and it would level up with you so the levels mean something too

the gas damage will be same as the orbital strike and it kills a surprising amount of bugs tbh

Yeah constant "leaks" "teases" and everything inbetween of new enemies, gameplay, vehicles. Game just made millions and went full skeleton crew mode.
