I think psg won’t press and Atlanta will press really agressively. Psg need to try and play like Atlético and punish poor passes and bad touches. If they get the lead then psg will have to defend for their life. Atlanta’s attack is lethal.
Hmm i don't know, true atalanta are firing, but they also conceade lots of goal because they main strategy is to overcome and crush their opponent by scoring
I was waiting for this! Such a cool team to follow, I wish Seria A was easier to watch and I started sooner. What Gasperini has done is nothing short of incredible. He turned a team of average players into a goal scoring machine! Their club philosophy is also very interesting and they are going to produce a lot of new superstars in the coming years I reckon.
They havent produced a single good talent in years.Every player that leaves Atalanta flops next season. If you look at clubs that bought their players, none of their "stars" havent performed.Solid midtable club, that sometimes do something more.Gasperini is perfect for them cause there is no pressure of big club nor big players that he needs to handle.
@@MrMarkopetrov Gasperini and the club in general can get the most value out of his players, no doubt, creating some nice surplus, but the Atalanta Primavera is really good. Even though there are some cases out that indeed flopped (maybe Gagliardini, Cristante) like you pointed there are also noticeable ones that didn't. Some that come in mind are Kessie and Kulusevski. Also we have to keep an eye on Amad Diallo Traore that has just been bought by MU. ;)
This video is a perfect description of how Atalanta plays. You are spot on with every point. I watch and analyse Atalanta to the smallest detail aswell and I have to say you did well. I would just add that the left and right centre backs also push very high and wide to overload the flanks, in the opposition half. Acting like a second wingback.
An updated tactical analysis of Atalanta after demolishing Leverkusen is much needed... Gasperini stays with many of his tactical principles but after the exits of Ilicic, Zapata and Scamacca he made a whole new team... Ilicic used to operate as second forward towards the center, Lookman plays as winger, often seeking 1 on 1. Gomez was a creative second forward, Koopmeiners is more of an attacking midfielder. And the clock keeps ticking as always. Truly impressive
@@Hahaa99 I think Bayern would thump them, for real. Anything can happen though, since it's on a neutral ground and with no fans, so the home advantage is zero.
a suggestion. when you make such videos, maybe at the end of it, you can analyse how the opposition shld deal with such a type of tactic. maybe even analyse the way they conceded goals. you show their strengths, be sure to show their weakness too. if i were to choose a football formation and consequently a said tactic in mind, I would like to know where my team can be exploited. maybe my team is not good against set-pieces. maybe my team has slow defenders. tell where they can strengthen their squad, maybe which player might be suited to come and fill that role. this might take some time and you might as well make another video on it like (sensible transfers by tifo football),so maybe just mention and move on to the next part. these all will increase your video length for sure, and i for one am willing to view all of the above. also, partition your videos so that, we can see what part of the tactic you are discussing. maybe 1st is attacking, from 1 to 3 mins. then defensive from 3to 5 mins. then weakness. so and so. hope this is helpful.
What I dont understand, is why did Papu leave, since he was the main man in all of these tactics. Gasperini quickly adapted and started utilising both Muriel and Ilicic into more dynamic forwards, creating the same fluidity that Atalanta used to have with Papu.
@@spursflyinghigh5488 salt? eh, i have some at home, thanks. come on man... i'm not even a fan of RB Leipzig. i want them to get through to the semi because i'm hoping some highly and interesting tactical football game. is it something wrong for you?

@@andrearavasio1092 yeah, when his philosiphy is implemented, he is easily the best attacking coach in the world, 98 freaking goals with Atlanta, damn.
Atalanta; this season, was outstanding and with its tactical football, PSG has got a good tough opponent as well as the match! 🤩Ilicic is a predator in front of the Goal
For me other than Bayern, they've been the most exciting and entertaining team to watch this season. I remember when they were banging in 7 goals in a game for a week or something, crazy.
Amazing tactics and analysis. But, how about a team break this by high pressure, wide press and a double mark on Gomez? It may be a dumb question but I am genuinely curious here. By Papu Gomez, I mean to ask what if the CAM is double marked?
Hello, greetings from Spain. I love your videos and I have a question, where do you get the statistics for your videos? Thank you and keep making this content.
I'm really enjoying the videos, but if there's one improvement I'd humbly suggest it would be the rotating of both the numbers and names by 90 degrees on the tactics board. This would make comprehension and reading a lot easy 👌🏻
Can you make a video on What Pirlo can improve in Juventus squad . Atalanta have had one of their best seasons and Illicic isn't mentally strong enough which is bad
Atlanta defensive system or pressing is based on man to man and psg has so many players who are good in 1v1 situations like neymar or mybabe so I think psg will win due to the qualitative superiority.
They are not fullbacks they are wingers even if they drop back there’s still a difference between 3 4 3 and 5 2 3. The clear difference is full backs primary job is to follow a winger all the way and even come inside the box. Secondary job is push up for crosses. Lms and rms in a 3 4 3 don’t typically come inside the box or chase the other wingers all the way but their primary responsibility is to be open on the counter attack and not only cross but cut inside and shoot
i think they are probably the best team in europe post lockdown which has been shown through amazing collective football display as well as a solid pressing line and creative plays , hence they are going to give psg a hard time and its entirely possible that they can knowk them out as long as they do their defensive duties to perfection against a marvellous french attack .
All this would be a waste,,as good as they are going forward ,they'll come up against different n difficult opponents with strong mentality n opponents who are very good on the ball individually They can knock out PSG but their journey is through there!!!
What do you make of Atalanta? How do you rate their chances vs PSG?
After last seasons shenanigans in the CL, Atalanta can easily beat PSG, even Barca can beat Bayern.
PSG might win but i would always want atalanta to win. I want PSG to lose so that neymar continues regretting about leaving barca.
I think psg won’t press and Atlanta will press really agressively. Psg need to try and play like Atlético and punish poor passes and bad

atalanta will play without illcic, so psg may have higher chance
Hmm i don't know, true atalanta are firing, but they also conceade lots of goal because they main strategy is to overcome and crush their opponent by scoring
I think a nice idea for a video would be Maurizio Sarri's tactical problems with Juventus.
Didn't play with the width they overloaded the center.. Poor Middlefield
and as usual, no plan B.
Rather how could Pirlo make Juve better
Prathamesh Thakur pirlo could buy tonali and turn him into a regista like he was
