- Ahh yes, the long awaited WRM V9. I managed to get my hands on it a week ago, and in this video I'm gonna tell you if you should get it or not.

Out of the recent Moyu releases, my favorite is the YS3M Ball Core UV coated - it feels faster and smoother than the frosted version. WRM v9 has absurdly strong magnets, my fingers get tired from turning it pretty quickly.
And, for me, Tornado Pioneer is the greatest cube of all time.
Still my best cube of all time is rs3m 2020 considering its price
@@mipad4491 Price-wise, this makes sense. I prefer the Super Standard though - it's only a dollar more but completely worth it in my opinion.

@@mipad4491 I'm not a fan of Gan cubes, but if you want one, 26usd is pretty nice, especially with UV coating. It's similar to Gan 11 but mini.
Just got the v9, *I LOVE IT SO MUCH ❤* (it just is so much better at everything than the ys3 m in my opinion, the speed is just perfect, the corner cutting is so Yooooo, the magnets are perfect, the maglev makes it super duper smooth and so incredibly enjoyable to turn❤)i honestly never thought a cube with such a satisfying and relaiable feel would even exist, it honestly feels like a gan cube

When the RS3M super came out I knew they would release a WRM with a ballcore and that's why I ignored it and YS3M. I've had this cube for a week and a half now and it's incredible. Before I was maining the tornado V3, and I still use that cube for blind because I like that it's not as clacky. But the WRM is easily the best cube at the moment; to me it feels like they took the WRM 2020 and put a ballcore and maglev into it. The WRM 2020 was my favorite iteration of the WRM too which makes this cube solid as hell. Not to mention that m slices don't feel bad which is unusual for a corner core magnet setup.
tbh this cube feels like weilong v1, but just better performance in every way. I love this cube and it's my main speedcube.
Dude, the Weilong V9 is my Favorite cube of all time! Its funny how some people hate it, and some people love it. I am also making a video on it soon!

I still haven’t finished my month of ZZ. It should be done by the end of May. So far, I’m actually really liking it. It’s a lot of fun and feels very good in the hands. I learned ZZ like a week ago, so my eocross isn’t very good. Once I get my eocross faster and more efficient, I’ll start comparing it to CFOP and roux.
I found the WRM v9 magnets stupidly strong to a point that it’s pretty much unusable for me. Glad to finally see a moyu 3x3 that can reverse corner cut line to line with ease (I’m used to 40 degrees reverse on my main the moretry tianma X3 snap)

Well setup:
Moretry Tianma X3 Snap = UV BC WRM v9 > UV BC YS3M > WR Maglev = Tornado v3 Flagship/Pioneer
I have all these cubes and here is how I rank these, and even though the tornado is one of the best ootb, it does not have much potential after setup. Most MoYu 3x3s need setup in my experience, and pretty much every MoYu 3x3s are a lot better after setup.
I personally main the Moretry Tianma X3 Snap as it never locks up with 40 degrees reverse, but the WRM v9 is kinda similar.
Out of these 3x3s, my top recommendation is Moretry Tianma X3 Snap. Mine is set to 4th click and I main it, and the tornado v3 isn't even close. The UV BC WRM v9 somehow has similar performance, just that the price is like a double and the magnets are stupidly strong which is not adjustable and very hard to get use to.
Just getting started in speed cubing which would you recommend? I originally thought about getting the tornado v3., but then hesitated when moyu dropped the v9.
What is your main cube btw? im planning to buy a flagship cube which do u recommend for me? im planning to buy the tv3 pioner and the v9 but i heard some issues of the tv3 that the magnets accidentally removed.

Bro, if i have the Moretry tianma Maglev, you recommend me buying the V9?
The tianma feels pretty similar to the wrm v9, so if you want an upgrade you can’t be wrong with the wrm v9. In my opinion, the wrm v9 is better, but if you’re happy with your tianma, you can stick with it.
Is there a big difference between 2021 WRM Maglev and Weilong V9? Should i upgrade?
Yea they are pretty different. I personally like the wrm v9 special edition more than then wrm 2021 just because it “flows” better. Idk it’s hard to explain. However, I think that the wrm 2021 has a better turn feel.
You don’t need to upgrade since you already have the 2021 maglev, but personally I prefer the wrm v9.

I kinda agree if you're in a tight budget you should get the rs3m v5 but if you have the money and if you like fast cubes you should get it but if you like more of a tactile controlable cube you should get the ys3m.
me personally, i dont really like the ys3m since my turning accuracy bad and its corner cutting isn't very good which is a huge downside to me, and after adding some lube still felt slow imo (others will find it good i just love fast cubes) so im planning to get this cube and see how it does 😅
Yea, sounds like you’ll probably like the wrm v9 then. It’s much much much much much faster than the ys3m, and more forgiving :)

debating on getting GAN 12 or WRM v9. never had a GAN cube before and always wonder how they felt.
I personally like the WRM V9 more than the Gan 12. Both cubes are pretty similar, and in my experience the wrm performs better, so I recommend the WRM V9 over the gan 12. However, if you want the cube with the most adjustment, go for the gan 12.
Also the wrm v9 feels very similar to modern gan cubes.
I wish MoYu would make a 1x1 ball core.
I need your opinion. My ys3 m is pretty smooth, but i get worse times than on my weilong 2021, because i lock up really often with the ys3 m. Don't get me wrong, i already got 4 sub 10's with it, but Do you think the Weilong V9 will be better for me?

I got the V9 and sold it - the cube is decent, but I don't feel that it really adds anything new to the collection of speedcubes already on the market. I like the YS3M more, and Gan Cubes more than that (I don't care about price - only how they perform)

The ys3m and wrm v9 have pretty different feels compared to the tornado v3 (the wrm v9 feels a tad bit closer to the tornado v3). I would personally go for the wrm v9 bc

Purchased my Gan xs for 22.5$
My Gan 11 pro for 52$ when it was 65
And I got a Gan 13 for 64$

@@user-sv3yz8zy4v WRM v9 is a level above Gan12UV! I have both and I would give the V9 S Tier! On the other hand the Gan 12 can really glide and its stable...
But still cannot compete with a 43 dollar puzzle from moyu! Gan 12 gets A Tier for performance, and a B+ Tier if you factor in price

I look at some videos and those videos said than the Gan cubes was so expensive for what they promise, I really want a Gan cube just for the popularity but It seems that there are better cubes for a lower price, I was totally dissapointed when the core of my tornado v3 broke, from there i decided to not get carried away by the popularity of a cube..
personally i love gan 13 main it for like 6 months but now thinking to change to huameng bc casue i love this cube too i have really no clue if to buy wielong cause i love gan 13 feeling but dont want to spend money again
The wrm v9 feels pretty similar to the gan 13, but it is pretty expensive. The YS3M is also very good

I’m still messing with the settings trying to get my perfect setup with this cube, but the sheer speed and just the general feeling makes me think I’ll definitely main it.
Yea it’s really good once you find the right settings
I like flexible cubes, maybe the ys3 m is a little to stable for me, i lock up with the ys3 m no matter how i adjust it.
Yea the ys3m is more in the blockier side. You’ll probably like the tornado v3 or wrm v9 more (wrm v9 if you want something really flexible)

If you wanna try something new, Roux is a really fun method! It doesn’t hurt to learn it :)
The WR M V9 feels NOTHING like the GAN 13!
It feels like the Tornado V3 more than any other cube.
Given that the WR M V9 and the Tornado V3 use the same plastic, are the same size, and feel more premium than the GANs.
2mm difference between the GAN and the Moyu as well.
You've really fucked up your settings and/or your lube if you think those cubes are anything alike!
Plus, why would you want to have something that works perfectly and everyone knows how to do replaced with something more complicated and difficult?
People who want Moyu to change their settings system are just people who believe they are the elite and they need more complicated things.
It's like bragging: "Oh yeah, Moyu's settings are absolutely perfect for everyone but wouldn't it be better if they made it really difficult so only a few supreme cubers (like myself) could understand them properly!?"
1. I compared the v9 to the gan 12, NOT the gan 13. You are right, the v9 feels nothing like the 13, it feels more like the 12 (mostly due to the magnets).
2. I don’t see anything with wanting more from moyu when it comes to adjustment. Yes, their adjustment system is good (mostly cause it’s simple and easy to understand), but it is not perfect. It’s not even the best adjustment system out rn (tornado v3 has that award). Moyu’s system is good, but it’s outdated. Moyu should try to remove the screw with a center travel adjustment system. They should try to include adjustable magnets (they did in the super weilong). Just because something is good doesn’t mean that it can’t be better. Also, the extra adjustment doesn’t have to result in a confusing adjustment system. While I agree that moyu shouldn’t change things for the sake of change, adding more to their adjustment system would be a big improvement allowing people to have more precise control over their settings.
And we're so used to calling it WRM, we tend to forget that it's WeiLong V9.

Yea, but once you tighten it, the corner twists don't happen as much. I've only had like one corner twist in a solve.

Why should you always get the "ball core" version, if MoYu releases another cube and the ball core is like over 100 aud then i would recommend standard
also the ball core super rs3m was kinda trash so i just got the super standard
so i am saying the ball core isn't always the best cuz why would i want to spend 65 australian dollars for a moyu
Yea I think that the only ball core version you shouldn’t get is the rs3m super. The standard is better because the rs3m is a budget cube.
But for the ys3m and wrm v9, why get the standard versions when you can get other cubes with more features, like the tornado v3, Moretry tianma, etc. Also, the wrm v9 and ys3m were specifically made to have a ballcore, so those are the versions that preform the best. Yea, I agree that moyu cubes are getting pretty expensive, but I would much rather have a tornado v3 flagship over the standard version of the wrm.
And don’t even get the maglev versions. No point on spending more money on something that is arguably worse. At their best, they are just as good as the standard versions.
The second I hear “strong non adjustable magnets” from a cfop solver I can tell it’s going to be shit for roux so yet another cube I won’t get
