Glad I found this on your tutorial thanks so much. Only problem I see is the white is around some of the edges and some not. Have you done a video on how to get rid of that? You’ll probably never see this but at least I’m trying lol

Thanks so much, I do not own a cameo however I can do the image on their design space and copy the size to cut the easy subli to design space and cut it using my cricut. Ibcan then align spray and align just as you have done here.

I love your instructional videos! I have used Silhouette Cameo's for years (3 of them) and I have learned more from you in two or three videos than I ever knew. Also what spray did you use? I don't know if I heard you mention it.

I was using starcraft printable vinyl in my cameo in thet 8.5 x 11 setting. But easy subli is 8.4 x 11. Can I still apply custom registration marks to the 8.4 x 11 easy subli ?
The slight size difference shouldn't interfere with your registration marks, I would proceed with the letter size setting. Hope this helps! ---Becky
I tried this, the reposition-able spray I got caused the color to fade/ghost. Any recommendations?
Does it not leave spots on your design from the krylon spray? I'm going to try this method but spray the easysubli with adhesive rather than the design.
I have 4 sheets of EasySubli but haven't used it yet, you are right it IS expensive! I've used Siser glitter and Specialty Materials SubliFlock 5901. Before I get to the EasySubli, I have a yard of 15 inch wide Siser Glow in the Dark I'll try. It will be easier to do a small test with a large piece of Glow in the Dark.
One thing, I thought you could NOT print on EasySubli unless you had a Sawgrass printer? That you did have to use it the way you just did.
Ok, here is an idea for a video, sublimate on Siser Glow in the dark! :)
Hey Angela! I have printed on EasySubli using my Epson printer, we actually have a vide on on that if you'd like to see. I have not sublimated on the Glow in the Dark yet, but it's on my to-do list for sure! I would definitely perform some small tests first before tackling a large project. Is there a way to do this without a cameo ? I have a cricut explorer and do you print using sublimation ink printer?

What size paper you use? Is it best to get a printer that prints 11x14? Also is it better to get a circuit and weed or just print it

Silhouette Studio was used for this video, but you can use also do it in Design Space. At the 19 second mark Becky explains how it would be different in Design Space. :)

how do you put the siser easy subly htv in the printer 2760 to print? because the roll of my printer 2760 doesnot hold the siser easy subli htv
It never came to my mind doing it this way. I used to first cut the EasySubli, press it on the garmet, then cut the sub paper and press it on top. I hated that it I had to change the time/temp, add an extra step and still screwing it up. I'll def try the method you show here.
Hiya, I'm new to all this and am doing it the way you said, well I haven't done it yet cuz I dont know how to stick the easy subli to the garment....I tried a test piece textured side up with teflon over at 155c for 15secs and it doesn't stick
What am I doing wrong? I know to sublimate on textured side but I'm confused as to why it dont stick
@@twisted_sista_bmccleanmiss6048 Did you remove the backing/carrier sheet from the Easy Subli before heat pressing? BTW, I haven't used my Easy Subli yet. I have sublimated onto white glitter though....once LOL
@@twisted_sista_bmccleanmiss6048 Easysubli is white, but it has a clear sheet called carrier sheet (opposite to the textured side)....before pressing, you have to remove the carrier sheet. Once you remove it, pre-press the shirt 3-5 seconds, and then put the easysubli only on the garmet, and press it for 5-8 seconds. If the piece you used to test had the carrier sheet, the heat of the press activated the adhesive so it glued the easysubli to the carrier sheet, meaning that easysubli piece is garbage now.

Hey Cassandra, you can use the mask to adhere the EasySubli on your garment and then line up the image, but it's harder to get proper alignment that way. The spray is the easiest alignment tip I've found. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hi. I'm watching you from France. Thank you for all your good tips. Do you see a difference when you print on sublimation paper or directly on easy subli ? Because I do and I don't like with the print and cut result.
I've never tried repositionable glue to fix easy subli with the paper ... I have to try 🤞🏻

Thanks for your video! I did have a question regarding time/temp. My a-sub paper says 400° for 40-60 seconds for textile, and I think the easysubli is 310° for 10-15 sec. If you press this at a lower temperature for shorter time, wouldn't the image not be as colorful?

Why does my cricut pront with lines in my sublimation printer. May need to try your technique as Im having so much trouble with print and cut. Tfs cool project! -Christine
It could be a print issue if those lines aren't in the design -- maybe the printer is low on ink? Or maybe the print wasn't set to a high quality print.
you cut the easy subli without registration marks? please let us know that info. because no matter what I do I cannot get my cameo 4 to do that? or do you have another video that explains that??
Hey Dandi, you just cut it like you would normal vinyl, just don't mirror. Just make sure you don't turn on the registration marks in the design area and your Cameo won't look for them before cutting. Hope this helps! ---Becky
I'm confused on your pressing temp. The easy press looks like it's set to 360-370 but you said 311. Which is correct for this method? Thank you!

Cricut’s Design Space is somewhat easy to use on the iPad.. but SilStudio isn’t nearly as easy as their app isn’t even close the software for computers!

If i spray adhesive spray on my print it completely messes up the colors!

Hey Alma, in theory you can, but you may have trouble being able to size your design to match the size of your vinyl. It can be done for sure, but that part I'd have to think about a workaround. Hope this helps! ---Becky

I don't think there is a time limit, but I usually do it right away. This type of repositionable adhesive is great for sublimation and so far, I haven't had it leave any type of residue. Hope this helps! ---Becky

This might be a really stupid question but do you have to have a Cameo machine to use the silhouette design space? I only have a Cricut and design space is pretty limited with print & cut
No, you can use Silhouette Studio independently of a machine, and of course you can export or save your design as an SVG. The issue is getting the SVG insid of Design Space. That's the real challenge here.

Good video but this process just seems like to much work if you have a lot of shirts to do. Have you tried the polyacrylic method?
Definitely a lot of work Leesah. I have tried the polycrylic method, but I that will still only work on light colors and it will wash out. If I needed a lot of shirts of the same print, I would order either printed HTV transfers or screen print transfers. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Question: Why not just print directly on easi subli instead of the double step?
This is because she had printed the sublimation design on an Epson printer. When using an Epson EasySubli will most times get jammed in the printer because it is too thick.

When using EasySubli, the material can be cotton. 😊
Which side did you cut on?
You will notice the EasySubli has a smooth side and a textured side. You will print on the textured side. Load the EasySubli into your printer so your design gets printed on the textured side. For Sawgrass printers that means you load the EasySubli with the shiny side up. - Brittany

I still prefer Cricut for this process. Most TH-camrs don’t knock their competitor.

While the process you use ended with a good result you still had to use the print and cut method to make it happen, so your title is very misleading.

Why in the world would anybody use print and cut? Just print the image onto the HTV and be done with it. I don't get it. You're wasting time. Is there something I'm missing?
When print and cut works correctly, it's great to use with EasySubli because the excess vinyl needs to be weeded off. If you just print the image onto the HTV, you will be left with a white square with an image in the middle. Hope this helps! ---Becky
