If you do this on a 4X4, you need to remove the CV axle nut to relieve pressure. Otherwise, you'll dislocate the CV joint which is a pain to reinstall.
Awesome video, I want to do this myself. My question to you is. Did you lift the truck one side a time to put the jack stand or where will i find the center lifting point to lift the tires at same time? Also what ton jacks? Im sure both tires have to be off ground as can't do one side at a time? Sorry newbie questions on doing lift level. Thank you in advance.
Go for it bro easy job. And no worries bro we all start somewhere The way I lifted up the truck to sit on jack-stands was by lifting it underneath the control arm and yeah, I did one at a time. Jack stands are 3 ton rated. And yes, you want both tires off the ground.
On my 21 sport 4x4 neither tie rod would drop. I beat on it quite a bit and no movement at all. I put some PB blaster and no help. I put a wood block on the bolt and still it wouldn’t come out either side. I had to put it all back together. I guess my mechanic is gonna have to do it.
I've seen a lot of videos on this but no one has used a spring compressor yes i see its not necessary but i trying to figure out if it would it make it easier to use one?

great install but i was cringing on that brake line
Looks like a good install. I’m concerned about stressing the brake line
Wasn’t to bad honestly
Thank you very much, I’m going to do the same thing to my two wheel drive. Looks great.
No problem glad to helped.
Do you have to adjust the headlights after installing a leveling kit?
No they seemed fine after installing them.
And we even upgraded to led bulbs which are brighter nd no adjustment needed
Thanks!
Will be doing this very soon.
Very helpful. I know I can tackle this now.
@@UserConn glad this helped out 👍🏼
Hello, how do you aling the spacer bolts with the holes? You need to compress the spring?
Honestly they where almost where i needed them to be. 1 spacer was off by a bit and i just twisted it by hand.
I've seen a lot of videos on this but no one has used a spring compressor yes i see its not necessary but i trying to figure out if it would it make it easier to use one?
Not needed honestly not bad of a job
No compressor needed at all
@@marcanthony854 no
is it ok just to lift the front ?
That’s pretty Much will we did here?
@@differentgarageprojects5656 but is it safe ? How is the wheel handling?
@@xiaowei7606 All we did was level the front so it can match the rear.
@@xiaowei7606 Suspension feels the same nothing changed still has the same handling
@differentgarageprojects5656 Thanks for your sharing
Nice thanks
Can't you just drop the bottom of the A arm out ????
