    Right on time MegaMilesBen! Just finished the passenger side before watching your vid. Gonna try your sequencing on the driver side and hope to save some time. All the torque specs saved me some time as well. Appreciated the speed of your video as well and lack of voice commentary.

    Great video straight to the point, thank you for providing the torque values. Is necessary/recommended to add blue (removable) locktread?

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Theres not mention of lock tight in Rough Countrys directions. I do a lot of suspension and hardly ever use lock tight. Ill use it on hub assembly mount bolts and propeller shaft mount bolts but thats really about it.

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lower ball joint? You mean the upper ball joint right? You shouldnt be doing anything to the lower.
      You can get a ball joint seperator tool kit from any parts store. They all have loaner programs.

    Is this your best recommendation for the best leveling kit for a 2022 Ford Ranger? Is there one better, and does this one cause any problems at all, like bend the tires in at all or anything like that? Is this one as good as an RPG leveling kit?

    • @MegaMilesBen

    After putting the spacers on the strut, I noticed that you reinserted the shock/strut assembly the other way around. The sticker was on one side coming out and was on the other side going in. Was that intentional or is that how it has to go in with the bolt pattern of the spacers??? Thanks Megamilesben!!!

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Takes the pattern of the spacer. Some lifts have you turn the insert 180° so make sure you read your directions.

    • @Ben1010Ten
      @Ben1010Ten 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Megamilesben I've got these coming in, in a couple of days. I was dreading having to turn the insert 180° as I've been watching your video non stop so I could just replicate your technique. Break it to me gently... are these one of those types I've got to rotate?

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @moben8160 as I stated, this one takes the bolt pattern. Make sure you check your instructions.

    Good evening, looks like you’re in Colorado just like me. I bought my wife a brand new 2022 Ford ranger about six months ago just took it in and had them put on a 2 inch leveling kit in the front. The steering wheel was off center when I first got in after they said, the truck was finished and then I noticed on the way home there’s a lot of play in the steering wheel and my wife said it gets pretty Squirrley if she has to get on the brakes hard. Is this all normal or what should we do?

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like it hasnt been aligned. Any time you have any suspension work done, I would suggest an alignement after.

    • @matllebpmac3405
      @matllebpmac3405 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MegaMilesBen they said they did do an alignment on it. They showed me that paper with the before and after. I’m going to take it back after about a week and see if they can at least get the steering wheel back to Straight /level /center. Not sure what term to use. If straightahead is 12 noon, the steering wheels at about 130 , 1/8 of a turn to the right when you’re driving straight.

    • @MegaMilesBen
      @MegaMilesBen  ปีที่แล้ว

      @matllebpmac3405 Id be real iffy about the alignment if your steering wheel is off.
      The only time your steering wheel would be off is if the alignment is bad or the steering column was disconnected and reconnected in the wrong position. They shouldve had no reason to disconnect your steering column.
      What youve told me sounds exctally like it hasnt been aligned.
