Angry Coach is back! For the first time in a while it was *FREE* for anyone who managed to upload a replay todiscord - so you are seeing actual player as opposed to people willing to spend $15+ for their 15 minutes of fame.
The live stream marathon was over 5 hours, but for the sake of my youtube analytics Jimmy cut it down to about half that, hopefully you enjoy! (like and subscribe )

In my opinion, It's better to just do part 1 and part 2 instead cutting the video to half.
58:15 wouldn't it actually be like the 1 time where pulling the probs up would be a bad idea because like you just said he killed all buy 3 probes. all he has to do is buy time for the triple battery to finish, then once hes done and warped a few stalkers in he can walk down the ramp with ample stalker count and either save or retake the natural just fine. if he pulls the probes up instantly and he walks up the ramp with 0 shield batteries finished and only 2 stalkers alive he just loses the game right? not sure but before i click play my assumption is, its worth losing the 16 probes right now to buy me the time i need given the current situation.
Thank you bringing this back. While watching gods like maru, serral and hero may be fun, deep down i really wanted some platinum mediocrity.

I started watching winter while actively playing StarCraft and always laughed at the "viewers don't play StarCraft" jokes. Now I haven't played in like 3 months and it's starting to feel a little too real

winter I've played starcraft since a kid I used to watch my dad play broodwar and command and conquer before I was able to walk and his way of playing it was just beating Ai and mass cannons your videos have changed the way I viewed and play starcraft so Thank-you

Having had a minute more to think of an analogy for the misplaced 1st pylon, I think I came up with a better one.
It's like going to a golf tournament but instead of having golf clubs you're wearing soccer gear and try to kick the ball.

Ok, i have the most stupid question ever asked about SC2: I got Plat with every race individually to have a good overview of everything in the game. Took me 4 years but now i'm ready to choose one race in which improve (i don't wanna go to random, i'd like to aim to Diamond or master and it requires certain skills that i could not learn for each race in a decent amount of time because i play 2 hours everyday after work). I really like terran for the idea, the flexibilty and the playstile, but my top result i got it with toss. Should i focus on what i prefer or what i am better at? Am i just too stupid and wasted 4 years if i don't play all of them now? thanks for reading this, i'm actually struggling with this
Play what you find fun and get good at what you find fun. It's not like everything needs to be a mutually exclusive choice.
The random differences within Plat won't mean anything as far as having a best race. To rank up high you need to refine the first four minutes of your game as Winter says, meaning practicing a couple of pro build orders, and understanding the other races builds so you know how to react to scouting. Watching a lot of pro games can help with build timings, just don't try to copy their micro lol.

at that last game, i really dont get whats wrong with wanting to know what the enemy has, even if it is reasonable to assume he has nothing. but i am platinum so what do i know.

Winter, what do you think of this strat?
1) Dropper-lord with drone to main or natural.
2) Simultaneously start Nydus worm & generate creep from dropper-lord.
3) Drop drone and start building Nydus network.
Nydus network has more hp than Nydus worm, and two Nydus networks are still connected.
Its not a strat you could do in the early game so there's no way he doesn't see the creep in his main. Also you can't start loading units until the worm sounds which kills the surprise advantage.

I tried adeptrushing against hard Ai and succeded then i tried again against veryhard ai and got alittle eager attacking with only 8adepts and lost. I got so stressed I quit and played going medieval instead.
why does protoss get a warpgate hotkey and zerg cant get a hatchery hotkey?

I feel like some of these protoss would do better if they just used my braindead silver build of zealot archon. Have mineral make zealot, have gas build archon. Disruptors are the bane of protoss.
