I've had so many games recently with Reaper hiding with ult until our team is already 2 down, THEN he comes out and uses it only to insta-die.

I havent actually cared about comp in years but i cannot imagine trying to learn the game honestly with how many people just straight up dont care about getting caught cheating/throwing/or just quitting mid game all because you can just make a new account in less that 10 mins
Takes about 2-5 hrs of gameplay to unlock comp though

I remember that moment they made EVERY account need a phone number. My phone number was tied to a budget phone service called Cricket. Since my number wasn't part of the main three providers, T-Mobile, AT&T, or Verizon, it wouldn't accept it and you would get locked out. I get it. Budget provider numbers are probably easier to spoof but I had the number for over 3 years at that point. Annoyed the hell out of me.

Like they all privately DM each other and go “guys, you know who’s shit this season? [insert shit hero] let’s say they’re hard meta in all our tier lists and see how far people take this”

About 5:50 I'm not condoning cheating, but I understand why. It’s because they can’t. I’ve been playing since the launch of overwatch 2, I know metas, I know strategies and comps, I know why pros do the things they do and have great knowledge of the game. But I JUST, CANT, AIM. No matter how much I practice, I can miss with Reaper on a tank point blank. I have poor hand coordination and that will never go away. I’m stuck in bronze because of this. Just because of my aim. So this player is probably in a similar situation. Knows the game, knows how to play, but sucks at aiming. That’s why they aren’t rage hacking. They just want enough aim to be good. They don’t need to dominate, they’re probably just tired of getting rolled by dumber players just because they have better hand coordination

All I gotta say, everything (aim included) comes with time and practice.
If You are unable to get better at aiming, I don't wanna be negative but, I think You chose the wrong hobby because OW is one of a very little few fps games where You can win by better understanding the game than the other but on characters like Reaper (dps in general) It doesn't really matter, It matters for Support and Tank maybe try playing those roles 🤷♂️
I’m sorry that’s your situation. But I disagree. I’m 43 yrs old, just started gaming so I can play with my kids. I suck, my aim has hit a plateau and is taking significantly longer to improve from where I am than it initially did. Worse than that, game sense. I have none. 🤣 My daughter plays for two people when we play. But we play quick play and have a blast. But here’s the thing, if I put some hack or cheat on, I’m not playing anymore. It’s playing for me, what’s the fun in that?
Yea im not gonna hold you this is a you problem, and not to be an a hole but there are characters that dont require heavy aim skill like sym,mei, brig, moira, winston, reinhardt, that if you main them you can get high. My buddy is a moira one trick and hes plat, but for your aim to be so bad, youre in BRONZE? Cmon thats just cope right there

Ive played a ton of overwatch1, my highest rank was like 3850, my problem with the game and why i stopped playing was because i couldnt climb. Id run into ppl that i swear were walling just for an advantage and would only crank it up to keep me from doing anything, then id get banned for having words with them in text chat. I spent more time being banned then the people that were obviously cheating. Then I started getting into games where 2 ppl would be aim locking and the other 4 seemed sus as well. Then i started getting matches where the whole lobby felt like bots, like they would just endlessly fight with no one dying ever unless i got the kills and the fight seemed to revolve around me and only me. I feel like the cheaters have all the power.

With how Jittery the Reaper seems when they're moving their mouse, I think this is a case of "I can't aim because of [insert arbitrary reason here], but I know that I'd be good at the game if I had good aim."
Genuine advice, just look up what eDPI is and try to work your eDPI down to a range where you feel as if you can comfortably aim as a precision DPS (Ex: My DPI used to be above 12000 in overwatch, but I adjusted to to where it is now around 3600. I still need to fine tune it, but this is much better than what it was in the past). You'll likely get a lot more fun out of the game that way.
I'm mainly referring to their DPI here, because their Sensitivity is just way too high. Every time they try to look left, their movement seems to get more and more erratic, like they're always trying to not overdo it.
If they adjusted their sensitivity, they'd be in gold by the end of the season, easily. Likely creeping into Plat if they put in a decent numbers of hours.

Haven’t been playing long, saw my first obvious cheater last night. Soldier all headshots, never missed anything on anyone, even flying Mercy. The whole lobby was flaming them in chat. Sad part, was open queue quick play. 🤣

As someone who has 20 minutes on reaper, this hurts to watch
I OT Reaper (currently in top 500) and this bad gameplay. He doesn’t have much game sense for a flanker. And doesn’t use his kit efficiently enough. I usually rush the supports as reaper and apply dual pressure whenever I can. If I can't I play as a tank buster or peel for supports if they get dived on. This dude was full on gunning it till he dies. Which is easy to punish in higher elo

i think the reason people call out legit players less in overwatch is because the movement is instant compared to a lot of other games so a very soft aimbot wouldn't do much and people would be inclined to cheat with a stroger aimbot thats more obvious to actually hit shots

back in overwatch 1 aimbots and walls where stuff of legends and where so rare that you would be shocked to have them in the match, now you need to have your kill cam on to see how can someone in gold have 50% headshot accuracy, some people even use aimbot on supports like Juno to go unnoticed.
honestly once every few months I get hit with nostalgia feeling of early ow1, reinstall the game, play for a week, then remember why I deleted it in first place and its sad.

Some people just have to cheat to ever win fights. No amount of play time, coaching, aim training or anything else will ever make them even slightly ok at the game. They know this, and that is why they cheat.

Reaper is hard to know if they are cheating. But I got to see one of these this week. I was playing reaper too, and It's my most played hero. And the guy on the other team with no sense begin to kill everyone that gets close enought. Than I decided to go for him to see and 100% cheating. Kinda sad. On a mirror is easy to notice.

Its so sad to know this cheater plays a TON of overwatch because they know where all the healthpacks are in the map on top of them playing meta heroes and knows where to position as a reaper.
When i played widow and sombra on ps5 i have been accused of the enemy team. Not a lot but there where times that i even surprised myself. Of course if a good player saw my gamplay they would probably be disappointed.
my guess is this is a hard stuck gold player who thought it was their aim keeping them back so they bought a OW1 account to see if they could place higher with better aim through hacks
Nothing in this video screamed cheater.... he missed a FUCKTON of shots on tracer. None of their tracer kills were hard locks. Reaper kills weren't hard locks either.

2 years ago I used to have the aim of a bottom 500 player. I decided to work on that (getting a large mousepad, decreasing my edpi from 48k to 7k and lots of practice). I'm now in diamond with a good-ish aim. Still have lots of work to do but it goes to show that even if you have close to no mechanical skill, with patience and determination everything is possible.
Cheating is only for the weak minded who aren't willing to put in the effort :D

But yeah to move my cursor Id do very small movements and flicks were out of the question cuz it would turn my character into a spinbot, took me wayyy too long to realize smth wasn't right but at last I fixed things up :p
Big mousepad isn't everything. You also have to clear space on it lol. My keyboard is sitting on my mousepad so I have little room for my mouse.

If you ever lose a game using cheats you should definitely just uninstall, and never play this, or any game ever again.
Cheating in ow does not guarantee that you will climb the ladder or win 100%. It's a objective team based game and you need good mechanics and game knowledge-sense. If all you have is aimbot.. well sigma shield, reinhardt shield, mauga charging at you, orisa gold.

Hopped into the game after like 2 years, said exactly what you said "lets give it a shot" Get on the server with the homies and get ran thru like 4 games in a row 2 back to back lobbies of the same group of cheaters and 2 with a few cheaters spread out all of them not hiding aimbot or wallhacks at all, and can just see them being blatant on killcam. Yea everyone uninstalled right after 😂. Online fps games are just trash as hell now. Just cheat and you have a better time clearly, and you never get banned 🤡

You have to understand that the majority of people want to be better, they don't want to improve. This is why coaching doesn't work 99% of the time, because people don't want to *improve* they just want to be better at the game, and even with the best coaching in the world you cannot magically reach into their soul and pluck out all of their bad habits and lack of mechanics. The process of getting there isn't fun for most people and that's what leads some of them to cheat. This guy likely didn't want to do the thing you actually have to do to get good aim (You have to sit your ass down and play nothing but kovaaks drills for a few weeks if not months, that's the harsh truth) but just wanted to do better, so he downloaded cheats to make up for his laziness.
