The Old Republic game takes place after Revan and Malek. The big Sith guy in the trailer was Darth Malgus and the Jedi was Satele Shan who's a descendant of Revan and Bastilla Shan. There's 4 more trailers you should check out they're all great.

SWTOR is the best source of Star Wars lore for me. The storyline of every character class could be its own movie. this is also part two of three linked cinematics.

The only problem I have with the Old Republic (MMO) is how it looks. It’s WOW basically that art style, doesn’t look like Star Wars in game. While the Trailers are fantastic it still has a more fantasy look to it while the armours look beyond the tech in movies. The Knights of the Old Republic games look fantastic in my opinion the art style looks completely unique but still it looks like Star Wars. Anyways great MMO just happy the look isn’t cannon lol
epiccthulu, I completely agree but I’m not a big fan of the extensions. Bringing back Revan and the whole zakuul thing just didn’t work for me. But the main stories I liked.
@@CaptainAmercia You forget that George Lucas made Star Wars very much "Fantasy in Space!" instead of the more Science Fiction like Star Trek and the Expanse. Star Wars is Science Fantasy for a reason, and SWTOR is sort of the Golden Age of the Galaxy before the Sith Empire came and set everything ablaze.

This is 300 years after Darth Revan and Malak. But the Sith Emperor Vitiate kept Revan alive all that time in a chamber. The Sith in this trailer is Malgus. And the Jedi is the descendant of Revan.

@@Fardawg the main stories in the game (the eight classes) don’t talk about I so how is it spoiling. Yes there is that one flashpoint and expansion but those are optional.
To answer a few of your questions.
1.) This is a MMORPG, that's why it's not out on consoles.
2.) Revan is in the game, but not in any of these trailers.
3.) The Jedi is Satele Shan, Progeny of Bastila Shan and Revan, the Sith is Darth Malgus, they fought in the trailer before this.
4.) Play Jedi Knight, I'd say it's the best storyline in the game, but have fun, choose what you want. You're not limited to one class or faction.

I know right, the Old Republic era Sith and Jedi were the real badass Force users. The rule of two is stupid in my opinion and lame compared to an actual Sith Empire. If Disney makes this era canon and doesn’t screw it up they will be redeemed.
The Old Republic takes place after KOTOR 1 and 2. That Jedi chick? She's a descendant of Bastila AND Revan (canon ship, baby).
In case you were wondering, that game is an MMORPG that is free to play. The Free to Play portion lets you experience every class's main questline, which is 50+ hours long for each class (Videos of only the conversations/choices/cinematics are 7-8 hours long for each of the 8 classes. You can do the math). There are 4 main classes on either side: (Republic) Jedi Knight, Jedi Sentinel, Trooper, Smuggler, and (Empire) Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter, and Imperial agent. Each have fantastic stories(which function in a similar way to Mass Effect, but are longer) that really put you in to the universe of The Old Republic era. If you have some free time y'all should check it out. Quite the trip.

It's not quite that big a gap. There is about 313 years between the events of KOTOR and the beginning of SWTOR.
Yes, 3000 BBY is a bit to inaccurate. "Hope" take placed 3667 BBY.
I was using a rough estimation but yes from the end of Revans book and the events of swtor

@@popeofdope6890 Your good in your assumption, but Revans story does end 300 years before the return of the sith in the Old Republic Storyline. However, Revan himself is still alive. And something our reactors don't know is that in any battle, everyone knows that Revan is 10x stronger than the current force users excluding the emperor who is over 1000 years older than Revan and is the reason why all this is taking place. But back to the point, if revan was in that battle, it would of been over and not even through brute force since Revan was the best tactician and Malgus only got better at strategy after his loss.

It's so so nice to see you guys also doing the same. It's wonderful. You see ppl being so caught up in the "new" republic stuff, and I'm always like, but if you only knew...
This is way after revan and malak died. The guy you thought was Malak is Darth Malgus.
Republic Troopers back in these times were used to constant war with Sith Lords and Assassins, They've been trained to withstand any force attack that the most powerful of Force users would through at them. Basically they was badass as fuck.
Also the events of SWTOR take place 300yrs after the events of Revan in Kotor 1, and obviously 295 years after the events of KOTOR 2.

Old Republic took place after Knights of the Old Republic when the Sith Empire are in open war with the Jedi. That woman you saw was Satele Shan, a descendant of Bastila and Revan. You guys should see all of the Old Republic trailers, they’re all top tier.

Don't forget about the age of the characters. in the first trailer (Return) Satil is 12 years old, Malgus is 19. In the second trailer (Hope), they are already 36 and 43 years old, In the third (Deceived) Malgus is 47 years old. And in the latest trailer (Disorder) Malgus is already 70-80 years old

Star Wars the Old Republic (SWTOR) is a game where you can play as 8 different classes. They each have their own storyline and the game takes place 1,000 years before Star War The Phantom Menace, it is also multiplayer.
That bald guy you guys are talking about is Darth Malgus. Consider him to be the Darth Vader of this time period in the Old Republic. He's an absolute monster in lightsaber combat. After this trailer you two saw, he was heavily injured, but still managed to kill two Jedi in his injured state.
Also the time period this takes place in is after KOTOR 1 and 2. It's like in between KOTOR 2 and The Rule Of Two era with Darth Bane.

The Old Republic is a is a medieval Star Wars that is set four thousand years before the Skywalker Saga or the original trilogy.
This game is an MMO, so they don't typically get sequels, they get expansions and continual patches. There are several of these trailers, and they were created to sell the game, so all of the characters you see represent classes you can play in the game, and their powers are also game based. The woman is a Jedi Master who leads the Jedi Temple and is one of the main Jedi NPC characters in the game. Initially there wasn't much connection to the OG Old Republic game, but a later expansion ties it in and you spend time hunting Revan. The main storyline is unique to this game, and they go some really interesting places beyond Sith and Jedi. There's another emperor involved from an area of space no-one in the main Star Wars universe had heard of, and he comes in and tears shit up.
This trailer is the second trailer and they are viewed in story order.

The cinematics introduce the story you played in this game, there are 5 Fives cinematics trailer, 3 to introduce the game, 2 for the extension Knights of fallen Empire and Knights of the Eternal throne
The game is a lot of fun and has amazing writing through most of its length. You can play Republic or Sith Empire and each side has four classes. It takes place 3000 years before Star Wars: A New Hope and 300 years after Knights of the Old Republic (the one w/ Revan). Republic types can be Jedi Knight, Jedi Conselor, Smuggler, or Trooper. Empire types can be Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter, or Agent. Each class has its own story arc separate but interconnected with the others and in some cases are pure masterpieces.

That wasn't Darth Revan but the Jedi was his (a few greats) granddaughter. The Sith that was the focus of this video is Darth Malgus, basically Darth Vader and all of this is set 3,000 years before ANH.

This game takes place between 300 years after Knights of the Old Republic I and II but about 3500-3600 years before A New Hope.
Ok let's break it down. The old republic is based approximately 2000 years before episode 1. The game is similar to World of Warcraft if you're familiar with that game. The game is heavily story driven. You make a character and choose a faction (empire or republic) and pick out of 4 classes. Republic: jedi knight, jedi inquisitor, smuggler, and trooper, Empire: Sith warrior, sith inquisitor, bounty hunter, and imperial agent. Each class has 2 specs and each spec has 3 talent trees. Each class has it's own unique story and the stories are fantastic. In recent updates they have made it where you can level through the entire game by JUST doing your class quest and no side quests so you can strictly focus on the story. If you're a star wars fan but not big into mmo's I'd still recommend it and just play solo and focus on the story. This is such an incredible story but since Disney bought out Star Wars, none of this story is canon and that is a tragedy. Hope this info helped.

Revan lives and was captured but Emperor vitiate and imprisoned and tortured for 300 years, you release him in a flash point and he goes on to the revanite order and becomes schizophrenic and decides to kill everything or something. so the guy wasnt Revan but Revan lives.
How have you guys not seen these? These vids are old as and there are better ones. I played this game when it first started. My main character was a bounty hunter. The classes was were split between force users and tech users. My bounty hunter was a tech user. The Sith looked deformed because of their connection to the dark side. It tainted their look physically over time. Watch the trailer "Betrayed". I loved SWTOR. It was magnificent.
Oh man, you guys definitely gotta watch all the TOR cinematic's "Deceived" is incredible.

Tho there is a big time gap between Deceived and Sacrifice, a lot of shit happened. Those sith soldiers were trained to a certain extent or level of power & skill, because in that era there were sith lords fighting over power with each other, it was all in house chaos, until darth bane made rule of two then malok came along few hundred tears later
KOTOR 1 & 2 are like a few hundred years before this game SWTOR and this trailer is part 2 of 3 there’s also a couple more trailers about the later levels for the eternal empire so should definitely react to all those

This is not before the rise of Darth Revan. But 300 years after(Side note, Revan is still around!) You can find out what happened to him in his novel, or in the game(I'd suggest listening to the audiobook while playing the game. And pausing it for conversations. Trust me, you'll thank me later).

That was not Darth Malak or Revan in the trailer. This game takes place roughly 300 years after the events of Knights of the Old Republic. The Sith leader in this trailer is called Darth Malgus, and funny enough, the female Jedi is the great great granddaughter of Revan and Bastilla, her name is Satele Shan and that is all I will say for now, so I don't spoil anything in case you decide to play the game.
SWTOR takes place 300 years after KOTOR 1 and 2. Malak’s long dead and tbh I’ve no idea what happened to Revan, but seeing as the Jedi shown in this trailer is Satele Shan, descendant of Bastila, I’d assume Revan is long dead.

Don't know if this is a hundred percent accurate, but the reason the masks look like revan is to honor him I think? If I recall the sith empire has a complicated history with revan because he was one of the first to encounter the sith empire beyond the outer rim.

How you going to have an ad right in the middle of your reaction video? xD Anyway, I love the game and have been playing since 2012, it actually launched in late 2011. I missed the launch by about 6 months. I would suggest playing it for the stories and being able to play pretty much anything you want.
Revan's story was a while before this arc
