That's what we are able to see here - Ben was barely able to parry Vader strikes, even if they were so simple.
Yeah. Vader was never one to really twirl his saber with flair. That’s one of the reasons I liked his character so much. He was to the point, but nonetheless surprisingly fast and agile, with real power behind his every attack.

Inspired clip and an inspired comment. Vader is in his armor and can't make any facial expressions. Yet in this clip, you could feel the rage in his movements. Its interesting how much it adds to the seen.
Am I the only one who sees this final fight between these two as extremely sad? Two men who were once as close as brothers, would die for each other, locked in a horrific and brutal fight to the death because of one man's consumption of hatred, anger, and fear. As someone who has had some great mentors whom I now consider lifelong friends this whole scenario kinds hits a little deep.

I second this. The oldest Sith groups were basically cults. All ancient Sith are martial acolytes of the Dark Side of The Force. Ofc talking Darth Bane & for sure Darth Sidious hardly any if at all religion in to play. Just a lingering philosophy ^^ Also the term Acolytes I come across often in RPG games when dealing with the evil mid-tier members of some cult.

Did I see Obi Wan use Juyo and Dun Moch, the fighting styles used by Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith? That is simply brilliant, as that would make perfect sense why Obi Wan would choose to use Vader's master's style against Vader. This was a magnificent fan film.

I know some people really prefer the original scene, but I love this one so much more. It shows so much more depth and bond between ObiWan and Vader. Not to mention it shows how powerful Vader really is. The original trilogy just tells you he is powerful, but doesn’t always back it up(especially after seeing what Anakin is capable of in the prequels). This version, in my opinion, really shows off his power and why he was able to take down Luke without struggling too much. I do love the original, but I love the concept of this one
Guys, that’s classic buildup! The longer you’re away from the fight, the more you wanna go back and see it. That’s film 101, and it’s utterly brilliant of them to show you what it would have looked like in the actual film. It makes it feel 100% more authentic. 10/10

You guys ought to react to the Star Wars: The Old Republic trailers. They are of amazing quality, perhaps the best in anything related to Star Wars. There are 5, and the order they are intended to be viewed in is as follows: Return, Hope, Deceived, Sacrifice, and Betrayed
The strategic use of the dialogue from Revenge of the Sith at those EXACT moments brought the true emotional impact of that duel RIGHT to the forefront in a way that had NEVER been done. When you watch this reimagined scene a second time with that thought at the front of your mind, it gives the whole scene so much more weight and intensity and REALLY makes you realize why Obi-Wan and Vader absolutely HAD to face each other one-on-one. It couldn't have happened any other way for either of them. For Vader, it was the culmination of his hatred and the realization of what he believes to be his righteous vengeance. For Obi-Wan, it is the ultimate end of his redemptive arc from what he believes is his guilt over his failure to train Anakin properly and solidifies his bond with Luke so that he can teach him even beyond his death. Some of the camera work isn't perfect and the lens flares are a bit over the top, but the screenwriting is masterful. Oh, and the looks on your faces when the RotS dialogue hits.....classic.

I think all Star Wars fans can agree why we love this "reimagined" cut so much: our passion for the characters created by George Lucas, his masterful story telling that make us 'care' for them, and the dynamic lightsaber dueling Lucas introduced in the sequel trilogy. And WOW - using the voiceover clips of Obi-Wan and Anakin from Episode III... masterful... it provokes your emotions to the Nth degree. This is so incredibly well done, it makes me love Episodes I through VI even more. THANK YOU!
