Spell Predation just got buffed, Highly recommend it goes into your kit now, Its just good to have. Removes ALL removable magical buffs, Instead of just 3 before. Hit a bard with it and watch him run.
what do you think of magical healing now that it's twice as much but with less scaling. 1/3 less I think. Would you say replacing dark reflect with TM with some magic heal is more viable now as it may work with this kris build?

correct, though if given multiple targets it can be interesting!
I get 3 HP back per hit without deviation when I run it without vampirism. When I run vampirism I get back 4 HP every second or third hit. Try it yourself and see if it does the same for you. I just tested it last game again just to be sure after reading your comment, And the results came back the same, I get 4 HP after every second or third hit still. So I conclude it probably scales with the perk.
@kazaren test it more. It does that even without vampirism.(I've tested this myself)
Its just decimal values making it look like you're healing for 4 health.
Test it a bunch. You'll see it swap between 3 health and 4 health regardless of whether you're using vampirism or not.
@@TheCosmicAstro- Hm, Yeah I see that now, Yeah hm, I guess Im going have to count hits and see how much HP I get over multitudes of hits. Like 10 punches with vamp and 10 punches without vamp and see if its still the same.

Would be interesting to see a new plate demon build with the new armor that were added this patch. Have you played around with it yet?
Yeah, Crusader Armor for clerics are pretty nice, Base knowledge for a caster loadout, Ill cook something up, Imma be back here again in a few days if it works or not.
Doesnt that perk apply to people wearing the skeleton skins?

I made a build basically like this except I run demon form, soul collector, dark reflection, and anti magic, plus boc. The build is a pretty pricey but I have 185 hp and ~58% pdr with kris and shield out without I have 181 hp and ~36% pdr
Also yeah clerics still scare me on this build gray clerics constantly get me to like 25-50 health not sure why they just eat so many hits and do so much damage compared to other classes which get me to 80 health
would demon armor not be good here?
@@blossommask6488 I don’t like demon armor to much because of the 50% less cast speed and in demon form if they run I use it for some good damage. Also I just run champion armor with +2 all and 2% pdr
With disposable money you can also get a lantern with +max hp and +weapon damage to make it even better

I had like 14 magical healing with vampirism and shadow touch still only healed 3 so i'm pretty sure it doesn't scale with anything
This is true, hes wasting a perk slot for basically better healing pots
Correct it doesnt scale with magic healing. But it does scale with vampirism, So you get a tiny bit more HP per swing when you land, Youll see your HP jump from 3 per hit to 4 per hit every second or third swing, And also I run vampirism for better health potions because its clutch.
9:40 It still costs 8 hp to cast, is it still worth at that point using Eldricht Shield + BSB? Is it not more worthwile just BSB and focus on not missing?
It has multi use, Wizard spells / Warlock spells and against cleric holy strikes, It also helps absorb BOC damage coming at you from other warlocks. So again it has a lot of uses.

Yo, I play solo, I use spell predation for clerics sometimes it can make the fight much easier.
Funny vs Bards as well when they all of the sudden lose all their buffs.
wouldnt you rather just hit them with 1 extra shadow bolt / curse of pain though?
@@vonflare4709 depends on the situation, it’s mainly if you are going into melee with them, I play spell with boc, if you are playing full caster then there is no need to play it most of the time
@@vonflare4709 In this build, Loading up on phys damage means that the curse and bolt dont do that much damage. Oftentimes its less useful than for example removing tons of movespeed and damage resistance / phys power from a bard all at once. Which then sets you up for an easy kill relatively. It entirely depends on who youre fighting, If youre fighting the average bard you can probably get away with doing damage to them and winning, VS god tier bards, I find that removing buffs from them has often netted me the win instead. For example if they use lament on me to slow me, I need to also remove their speed buff so they dont manage to gain too much distance on me. Another math I put into consideration is if they use shriek of weakness on me, Ill lose armor and phys power, So by me removing their buffs, They now stand on a level playing field with me. A good bard is probably the biggest counter to a player running this loadout so I try extra hard against Bards, You dont know if they are super chads or timmies.

People are overselling shadow touch HARD.
Its nice QoL for low gear melee lock but thats about it.
The damage does not scale with anything nor does the healing. INCLUDING VAMPIRISM.

This is the case WITHOUT vampirism as well.
It is due to decimal values.
Load into a norms game without vampirism. Take damage. Hit something. Look at health. Hit something. Look at health. Keep doing this. Youll see it will go back and forth between 3 health and 4 health regardless of whether youre using vampirism or not.
Vamp actually makes the healing 3.6 per hit and it buffs life drain too

Take off vampirism and go test it yourself.
You'll see occasionally healing for 4 still.
It does work on life drain. NOT shadow touch.

Shadow touch is not even remotely strong.
Its nice qol for low gear/melee lock but that's it.
It scales with literally nothing.(including vampirism. No the 4 health youre seeing isn't vampirism, it's decimal values rounding up)

The nerf was coming regardless. Shadow Touch took me from lvl 1 to 28 already

Doesn't need to be nerfed. It doesn't scale with anything. It's a low gear/melee lock QoL but thats it.
@@kazaren yeah, because of them what I've ended up doing is just running this build with full plus true DMG with demon form with nothing but vigor and movement speed. Come to find out it kills everything. Hoping we don't see a nerf for once.
