- I break down the P365 Rose 9mm package from Sig. The package literally speaks the language of Pew Pew Nation and boasts everything we are about! See what we mean in the video.
I’m a man, but I bought this pistol over the P365 XL Spectre Comp due to the $300 price difference, the fact that this gun has a manual safety on it, and I prefer the rose gold to yellow gold on the Spectre Comp.
I’ve read everything I can find on these two Sig Comps and so far as I can tell, it’s the same gun with a few cosmetic differences.
I’ve shot 350 rounds through it so far and it’s the best performing carry gun I’ve ever shot. Shoots very similar to a full sized 9mm. Very accurate. Much better recoil management than any compact 9mm I’ve shot. And the best part.. zero failures with defensive ammo (a problem I’ve had out of a lot of subcompact carry guns in 9mm).
Best carry gun I’ve ever owned. Hands down. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

EXACTLY! This is the ideal setup that I was looking for in a P365XL (comp and safety) without having to build it or pay more for the Spectre or XMacro Comp and an XL grip. Biggest benefit is that my wife and I can train on the exact same platform (same optic, etc.) so if we ever had to, could use each other's weapon with 100% familiarity and both of us are using the same magazines - whether they're standard XL mags, or the 15/17 round magazines.

Yes, The manual safety a big deal for those who want one. The Rose is the only larger size that offers one. That I am aware of. Do not worry, the gun will not make you pierce your ear or carry a purse.
My husband just bought me this package and I’m new to shooting. The video tutorials Lena has on TH-cam are AMAZING for new shooters like myself. She literally walks you through step by step. I love it!

I scrapped my Kimber Micro 9 and grabbed this one. Huge difference. This is the best carry pistol I’ve owned.

My husband bought me the .380 version and I love it. This entire package made me feel comfortable being a woman and owning my first gun.

First off, love your review. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. I went into the store today to pick up an XL and honestly had no idea that this rose gold one existed. As a dude, I thought it was so sleek and sharp. I ended up buying this package instead for my first EDC, I’m pretty pumped about it. Although from what I’ve heard, it might just be one of the best ones currently on the market.
Just got done purchasing the 9mm for my girlfriend, and the gun looks so sleek and has all the features for safety for a new gun owner. Love, Love, Love this lineup and I would have no shame carrying this on myself. Picked it up from Scheels for $899 ticket price and walked out the door for $945 after taxes.
Agree with you 100 % most woman including myself don't want a colourful gun because a gun is not you handbag to match your outfit it's for protection and concealment #love sig
My wife has several guns of her own. She is a competent shooter and very comfortable around firearms. But I'm still getting her this because it's beautiful and she'll love it. And that Vaultek safe makes it a bargain.
My wife is Chinese and was totally against guns. She shot a Rose and now owns one. She almost lives at the range now. You won't ever see her without her Rose.

I’m a dude and no lie I want that so badly! I also have been looking into a 365XL because I have very very tiny hands. That rose gold plus the comp and the thumb safety as well that the regular 365XL doesn’t have. And the whole package is amazing. Probably gonna end up getting this package. It looks great. Also I like the 365XL comp but the regular gold is a bit too flashy for me. That rose gold is sexy AF. Might be made for females. That’s fine. Idc. I want this so bad. Very nice package!

For all intents and purposes, it's a 365XL Spectre Comp; I confirmed it on the phone with Sig Sauer yesterday. The only differences are cosmetic and the manual safety.
They have a special going now--if you buy any 365, Rose kits included, with either one or two boxes of Sig Ammo, you get either $25 or $60 credit to use on their site. Check out their site.

My brother just bought one yesterday. Did not even know it was a "girls gun". It looks sick, it has the compensated barrel, and it's $300 cheaper than the spectre.
I really like the fact that it comes with a case. It will cost you more in the long run than the total of the gun, for everything that it has in it. I'm going to get my first concealed carry this weekend and I think I'll be definitely looking into the Rose
If this had been available when I bought my 365 XL, I would have taken this instead. What a beautiful pistol.
i LOVE IT. PURE GENIOUS. I went to the email sent to me by Sig Sauer. The "Pistol Package" is the tip of the iceberg. Sig has much more to offer "The Rose" movment. I love the special ammo, targets and additional swag that is avail with this gun. There is a perfect holster set up as well. Whwen I first saw this I knew there was a missing piece to the puzzle. Check out all Sig has to offer. In the event I had an adult daughter or wife who showed interest, I would be sure that they were aware of this package. -Do your self a favor and look at the marketing and quality genious Sig pulled off.

Great review! Love your channel. I just purchased this. I must admit the rose gold accents got me initially. Despite that, this is an awesome gun. The comp slide and the manual safety won me over. I have glocks and a taurus but this is my new concealed carry fave. Even though it was made for women, I think guys can carry it. Instead of calling the accents ROSE GOLD, call it copper or burnt orange. It's a great gun that anyone could carry.

Great idea to include some dummy rounds for training with a dummy bullet mid-mag, didn't think about using them for practicing racking or loading for new gun owners. Quite brilliant to be honest. Love the base gun, purchased almost 10(?) years ago and it quickly became my CC gun here in Idaho. Not of huge concern to replace, but glad Sig came out with a safety version which I would have purchased originally. [Instructor and I had long discussion about chamber loaded/unloaded options and ended up deciding carrying unloaded with ability to chamber for sound was a greater advantage (FOR ME) in my environment and situation if needed]
I wouldn’t let the price deter you too much. Most women in the Rose groups are getting theirs closer to $899. I found my 9mm for $819 and paid $902 after taxes and a 3% credit card fee; another woman found hers for around $750. Some places are selling them closer to $1000, so just keep looking until you find the right price. And don’t be discouraged if you can’t find a kit immediately, they’re still new and the demand for them is insanely high.

I just bought mines 3days ago got the $1000 price tag but I been trying to get one for about a month now no one near me could get it.

Just picked one up in .380 for the wife, I can't wait to take it to the range and have her test fire it. She doesn't like the snappiness of my P938's, so I'm hoping she really takes to the whole package.
I have the 365 micro. When this was announced I was like I need it. They are hot and hard to get. Still searching for one near me. This video helped me decided out of the two which I wanted and I'm going to get the 365-XL The Rose.

Honestly tempted to buy one, put it on an Icarus black XL frame and give my lady the safe and dummy rounds for her Hellcat. I've got an X macro that I love bit wouldn't mind a shorter trip for summer concealmemt and not have to change frames to do it. Then again so could rock that rose with pride but I'm with you, love those rose gold accents.
Picked mine up today…don’t care if it was designed for a woman…I like the look the balance and feel in my hand was the best out of all that I looked at 🤷🏼♂️

The rose controls look amazing. And you get the case and loader… shiiit growing up the guns (usually cartel though) that had all the roses carved in looked so badass and everyone wanted one. So yeah it may be marketed towards woman and the rose on the handle I could take it or leave it… but that rose good is beautiful.
If you take the Sig Sauer Academy training you get 15% off..just sayin. Its an 8 hr hands on from A to Z training. It's really great training for woman! I did it in January in Colorado. Highly recommend 👌
I bought one of these for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I must say i also think it is nice.
I have one on order. It's so insulting to be offered "barbie pink" in a section of guns that are useful to women. This is designed in a very respectful way with the concerns of women in mind. The dummy rounds allow newbies like me to practice and get comfortable with it. Can't wait to get mine.
So agree here! The rose gold is so much more elegant and beautiful. I never thought I'd buy a gun that isn't black, but I was sold on this.

The Smith and Wesson M&P EZ platform I think was designed with women in mind too, I believe. Either way, that guns is just all around awesome to shoot in general. Which is sweet.

Ive come to the conclusion that this gun is perfect for what i want it has the comp slide and the manual safety (im pretty sure its the only p365 that comes with that combo) the only thing i am going to do is get x macro magazines for it with the extended baseplate so i can have 17 and more purchase on the grip

Does the safe have a cable to secure it in a car?
My wife loves this, but I'm just concerned with the presence of the manual safety for a carry gun. Having to remember to flip it under life or death circumstances is not something I want her worrying about. How easy is it to just leave off when carrying? i.e. Will it get flipped on easily from drawing/handling?

It's a decent flick on and off. Definitely something that needs to be trained and become second nature when drawing from holster.

Some say they have rust issues with the Macro and their mags. Any thoughts on the Rose being the same as.... Does it accept a marco frame? Exploring all options for a new shooter, home defence. Everyone at the gun counters is recomending compacts?? J
Being as this was 8 month ago and you probably made your purchase already but if youre in the market for home defense mainly this isnt the best option!

Don't buy the 380. Under 150 rounds in a P365-380 Rose Edition, the large recoil spring jumped over the rear retainer and catastrophically failed. Pistol will not go into battery and cannot cycle. If Sig ever sends a replacement spring, my wife's CCW/Defense pistol is now a range queen.
It's not the Rose only. I've come across a few comments now (from different reviews from different channels, including Armed and Styled channel) regarding the spring issue. Didn't sound catastrophic like yours, but it does sound like the typical 'Sig likes to use their customers as testers' issue. And I'm not knocking them (well, maybe a little). I have the 365X.

It’s not a limited line to the best of my knowledge, however, I believe it was only launched within the last 3 months so the demand is high right now. Lots of stores are having a hard time keeping them in stock.

I would get the 9mm, but that is really personal preference.
380 isn't enough to stop someone
@Ice not really true. .380 is definitely a viable option for concealed carry, but when given the option between 9mm and 380, I recommend the 9 if it works for the shooter.
@PEW PEW NATION I won't get into a debate, but I'll share some facts. No law enforcement agency carries 380 for a reason. Some experimented with having their officers carry 380 chambered pistols, and it didn't end well. In one case, an officer shot a man trying to kill him 7 times, and the assailant died, but after a whole minute. It just doesn't have the stopping power you may need when it matters the most. Do what you want, but when it comes to your life, I'd highly recommend a caliber with the necessary stopping power that you may need in a life or death situation.

Not just a mini vault take into consideration that's over $100 itself, and the gun is basically the spectre comp but when a manual safety. Same trigger and all..I doubt the price of it will ever come down.
Question for those who have this: Is it snappy when shooting it? I’m looking for my first firearm.
So many gun ranges have the p365 xl (not the rose edidtion) if you have a range nearby go and try the p365xl out it out. As a female people told me oh this or that gun is perfect for you you should get this or that . Turns out they where wrong when i went to try them out . Snappy means so different to different people
