"Marcus and Martinus are the same age" takes the crown for the most "useless trivia", hands down! 😂😂 I'm yet to find identical twins who aren't the same age
Actually, I believe it was a woman in New York City who many years ago had twins. Technically, the first baby was born very late on December 31, and the second baby was technically born on January 1. So both babies were technically born in different years. It made national news here. 😁😁😁
@craigpacker7171 yes,,born in a different year or on the next day can happen, but they're also the same age, except for the older twin's birthday.
There was a woman who was pregnant with twins but one twin required an emergency surgery and they took him out prematurelly, leaving the other twin to continue to grow inside the womb for another three months or so, so technically they have different birthdays and are different ages for a few months
@@craigpacker7171 So, essentially, they'll only be different in age for a single day.
I think when he said "The winner of Eurovision this year is..... 1 of the 37 participating countries"
It was the most useless but funny trivia
This was the most fun to make eveeeer
I love you and your sense of humour so much😂. I just straight up laughed during the entire video, no wonder I subscribed you.
Also, the new catchphrase: How did I get so old?!
@Pena1306 yes and "and now i've seen everything!"😅
It was also very fun to watch. 😊
It was fun to watch too. I wouldn't mind more videos like this one.
I agree with all of the above! 🫶🏽
That Silia wasn't born when L'ordi won, has blew my mind🤯
The 11th word in firefighter is "the" was my absolute favorite.
Caught me completly of guard, because every other fact had a reason to be in the video.
Switzerland in 2021: Gets 3rd place
Switzerland in 2022: Gets 17th place
Spain in 2022: Gets 3rd place
Spain in 2023: Gets 17th place
France in 2021: Gets 2nd place
France in 2022: Gets second to last
UK in 2022: Gets 2nd place
UK in 2023: Gets second to last
Italy in 2021: Gets 1st place
Italy in 2022: Gets 6th place
Ukraine in 2022: Gets 1st place
Ukraine in 2023: Gets 6th place
So this year, Israel will be 17th, Finland will be second to last and Sweden will get 6th place?
Spain 2022: female booty hipnótic
Spain 2024: man booty hipnótic
This could actually happen. I’m pretty sure Sweden will be somewhere 5-10th and Finland 20-25th. Israel is uncertain though…
And Israel's gonna be last with the televote.
@@liamtornqvistyeah, they might not even qualify. And Finland might finish 2nd to last with the juries, but definitely not overall, unless they get a bad slot in the running order (but the new rules would make such things impossible as well). And Sweden maybe 6th, if they're vastly overrated with the juries, because they might flop with the televote. But we'll see.

Rim Tim Tagi Dim - the only song written by only one person ❤ bravo Marko!
I mean it's not that hard a feat to achieve if you are plagiarizing the song from 3 different songs....
The winning song from last year was hm....very original and not a copy at all 😂 and it was written by Bunch Of People
@@Rash23215Lol, let’s hear which 3 songs he’s plagiarizing.
Swedish representatives for the second year in the row are being squeezed between two platforms. Also fun fact all participants from last year's top 3 lay down during their performance.
Trivia isn't useless! You can win a Eurovision trivia gameshow or quiz with them!
Absolutely LOVE this style of video. Feels very fresh and fun. Good job!
Well done, this was very entertaining.
Thank you
Great video!!! You just forgot Italian lyrics in Rim tim tagi dim, ciao, mamma, ciao 😂
Aaah true
Another piece of useless trivia:
Croatia adopted Ćao (Ciao) as a casual greeting at least half a decade ago so I don’t think Baby Lasagna meant it as adding italian when he wrote it. Serbia uses it too. It’s interchangable with ‘Zdravo’, another casual greeting.
Zagreb also uses ‘Bok!’ for the same purpose which the rest of Croatia does not use.
Mama is used for ‘Mum’ in Croatia.
@@XeaRae useless trivia addendum: German also has a version of ciao, tschau. It's only used as a farewell. Mama is the more affectionate German word for mother, so he's also technically singing farewell to his mother in German 😔
For some of these, the delivery just killed me and I had to pause to take a breath 🤣 Specifically "the 11th word in Georgia's song is..........the" I could not stop laughing. This was a very fun round up!
That thing with the 11th word in the Georgian song was delivered so well😂😂 Good job
I loved this video last year! So glad you’re doing again
Great video! Was really looking to it since i really liked last years edition! Btw, are you planning on making your top 5 best lyrics? (and maybe even top 5 worst lyrics?) anyway, thank you for all the time and love you put into these videos, you make the esc season so much better❤️
Maybe I will do Top 5s
Truly some of the most useless trivia, I enjoyed watching every second of this video
🤗🤗
Sir I thought you were quite dry before but you are actually a comedic genius
An excellent representation of German sense of humor 😂
"Open Up" was technically also used in 2 Eurovisions in a row.
Which gives us another fact:
- Every time the same slogan was used by 2 Eurovisions in a row in the past, one of the contests would get cancelled.
Love your sense of humour - amazing!❤😂
Eurovision Histories The Finnish UMK has said there will be denim eggs hidden in Europe. There will be three denim eggs hidden in three different cities somewhere in Europe, there will be clues on social media how to find the eggs, and the egg finders will have a chance to win tickets to the first semifinal dress rehersals in Malmoe! Creative advertising?!?!
This is brilliant!
Ok I watched several videos of yours already, so I knew you were geeky 🤓 , and I came back for more obviously. But you have outdone yourself in this video! The work you must have put into this... impressive!😅
lol, loved your 12 minutes of Useless TRIVIA, quite the research 😜👌
This was AWESOME! Honestly, I didn't know you had it in you. That's what I get for only stumbling on to you this Eurovision season. Well done! 😹😹😹
Thanks ;)
Loved this, thank you ❤️
Excellent comedic video just like last year! I really enjoyed it!
We want to see who you speak to off camera. 🤣
Terrific video. Prima!
Thanks
Great video! This is one of the things that make your channel so unique!
First video watched in the morning - and you made my day, thank you. ❤
I also ask myself how did I get so old... 😅 And it's coming every year since 2018 when I realised that Mélovin is 2 years younger than me. 🤧
4:53 What a gem. Timestamp so I can get back to this in bad moments 😂
Thanks for the Eurovision shopping list - lasagna, mango, lays chips. Hopefully I can source some Aussie milk(Ali) to go with the Bailey’s (ESC sponsor) that Aussie Voyager is apparently still waiting for from last year’s contest.
3:50 A guy from Puuluup told me that choreo is a traditional Vormsi-island dance polished to stage by the duo and 10:35 Dansevise "A faint sound of a cat grabbing"
Just fyi
Fabulous stuff! Absolute joy for all us Eurovision geeks - great fun to watch.
🤗 thanks for watching
The Liar line when speaking about Cyprus and Belgium was very clever
The 11th word of Georgia's entry...
you predicted it. Spot 11
The only Eurovision songs with numbers in their titles or artist names this year are Windows95, 5miinust & Puuluup and 11 : 11
The country with the running order 5 in Eurovision 1995 was Norway who won that year
The country with the running order 11 in Eurovision 1995 was Croatia
So viel Recherche :o Total gutes Video :)
Danke dir 🤗
S10 in Europapa is sat next to René Froger, who was 1/3rd of the Dutch entry 2009
Oh thank you for that!!!
Trivia is still so funny ! Well done 😂
Du bist einfach großartig ❤ Liebe deine Videos
Danke 🤗
I came for the trivia and stayed for the comedy! What a fun video 😆
Wow, this was so fun and delightfully geeky ❤
I just heard about Isak being half Icelandic few days ago and it ofc completely changed my perspective 😅 This video is hilarious 😂 Love your channel you are such a breath of fresh air (unlike our entry this year! I am so disappointed with our choice)
Thank you for the sweet comment. Hera is my guilty pleasure though!
How did you get so old 😂😂😂😂 No I mean Hera is Hera and you cannot deny that and I always find it so nice when you are (literaly the onlyone) talking fondly of the song, you are such a cool guy🎉
Please tell us about this very long train ride!!! Chisinau to Bucharest, perhaps?
Just goes to prove, useless facts can be so much fun! ❤😊
And in Joost wins, it will be the first winning every to mention Poland ever 😂
Fantastic pronunciation of Estonia’s entry! You’re more brave than probably most international commentators who probably won’t even try to say it!
This is such a delightful video 😊
I wonder if more cat songs will show up next year.
There were also two Australian acts competing in 2017 - Anja (Denmark) and Isaiah (Australia)
This is the 8th time Norway has my favourite song of the year.
Followed by Italy who has done it 6 times.
Ireland with the 7 victories has only done it twice. And Sweden with the 7 victories has never ever had my favourite song of any year.
Also my country Greece has never ever sent my favourite song of any year.
I loved this video and much more than half of this info was nowhere close to useless :)
Some excellent trivia in this - thanks for sharing! 😄
Great, so much fun, thank you!
You had me at useless facts
Great video! Just wondering: When you mentioned the cities that have hosted the contest three or more times, didn't you skip Copenhagen? Copenhagen also hosted three times :))
I did ;(
"Beltè" was a kind of cold tea here in Italy 😄😄😄
Also, 3 contestants were born on April 10 and the Greek song is probably the one than most resembles other songs.
Hooray!! Eurovision is gonna celebrate my birthday!!!!
Not the quadruple 0 televote points 😭😭🤣
12 more, please!??🎉🎉🎉
So much fun, I could listen to this on LOOP.
😂😂😂😂 grazie per il tuo umorismo, bravo sdrammatizziamo un po', divertiamoci e poi vinca il migliore! ❤
This is also the second year in a row that Slovenia sends my favorite entry
The 11:11 was such foul shade hahaha
3:19 just a small reminder that Germany’s song in 2021 has 3 line of lyrics in German!
The 11th word of Georgia's song was most fascinating thing I've heard ever, wow!
Brilliant! Thank you very much .
I just don’t have a whole year free to listen that many times sadly!
2023: Italian represents Norway
2024: Norwegians represent Seeden
2025: Swedes represent Italy?
🤔
I don't think that will happen...
i don't want jimmy joker and thomas g:son anywhere near sanremo
You are delightfully random with these facts😀
you are brilliant!
Gracias por hacernos reír y disfrutar tanto de cada temporada eurovisiva. Tu vena cómica es sorprendente. Si no lo estuviera ya, me subscribiría a tu canal sólo por este vídeo 😂
Another useless fact: I bet a lot of money that there isn't any song since Eurovision exist, that contains the word "amonites" ( Nemo's song)😅
Ah, Deutsche Bahn facilitating creativity ;)
Hahaha you got mw
Fun fact, Beltė is not so typical Lithuanian surname. I know I’m Lithuanian. But in the interview Silverster explained that his grandfather was Latvian 🇱🇻 so maybe it is more typical for Latvians 🤔
Anyway I hope Latvians will remember this when voting 😉
And the best songs this year for warming up before running a 5K are Europapa, The Code, and No Rules, all of which are 160 bpm
Gotta love vixens
Loved this video. Thank you.
So fun to watch it! But you forgot the German text in Denmark's entry of 2019
True. Even though I never distinguish the German from the English in that song 😂
@@eurovisionhistories 😂 It was one of my favorite songs in that year. But meeting her in person could have an influence on my taste as well 😅
let's hope that Germany won't come last. I like this lad. Also speechless as Olly Alexander being born in Harrogate Love your videos
He wasn't born in 1982 though ;)
This is such a fun and light hearted video 😂❤
"the" 😂❤
This was so fun! Thank you!
0:12 IM ALREADY PACKING FOR GERMANY! WE GOT THIS BOIS! (I'm literally in a bet with a friend that Germany will get 22nd place or higher. Isaak knows about this bet and he's determined to "kick some asses" I LOVE THIS GUY!
Oh, yeah, sadly Germany last years became a meme in ESC community but at least you have some wins. While my country has only one second place on its debut and since then... it's a rough path. Funny video, now I know everthing , btw, was it a Swiss or Moldavian train by any chance?
😅😅
San Marino has also one sentence in Italian
True
😂😂😂😂 this was too funny!
this was very fun and all but how dare you withhold the exact length of the train ride
Loved it!
Actually Open Up was used for 2 contests in a row as well!
Well but one was cancelled
@@eurovisionhistories True! I still think about that year’s contest!
You gave me a good laugh 😂😂😂... and regarding age, I always say to my self, I am getting older but also wiser 😅
Well...speak for yourself 😂😂😂😂
I'm already listening to We Will Rave at the gym ahhaha
It will be funny now if Mrle & Prija from Let 3 deliberately form a duo for 2025!
Hmmmm... 4350pts to be given out in the final... Mental note not to ruin it for myself and work it out, like I did at UMK...
I mean that will be much harder with 26 songs instead of 6
@@eurovisionhistories but with the dramatic pauses...?
😂😂😂 Loved it!
Great video!
Thanks
3:49 "whatever this is" that is the VEISSON have some RESPECT smh
Its a joke
@@eurovisionhistories so was my response 😅😅😅😅 I'm really sorry that didn't come across in my phrasing
This was genius 👏
This was fun :) Danke
Danke fürs Schauen ;)
please make more of these!
I'd need more facts 😅😅
Croatian song also has lyrics in Italian (Ciao, mamma, ciao)
Did Eurovision histories just predict 2 Cellos for Croatia next year?
This was clearly the Cats and Witches year, even if most of those songs did not make it to Eurovision.
