I actually thought it was a strong year. Last year only one song ended up on my spotify list, this year I have ten. My whole top five were songs I loved equally and the next top ten on my list were so good I hated having them so far down in my list. Poland, Estonia, Australia, Netherlands, Ukraine, Sweden, Norway, Moldova, Serbia, UK are my top ten followed closely by Iceland, Portugal, Romania and a couple of non qualifiers, Cyprus and Georgia. Such a great year for good music.
@@baku2461 this year was quite good however, I feel as though people are giving too much recognition to some songs which me and a few million people agree are quite bad like Serbia and Ukraine. My personal favourites are Spain, UK and Norway with Romania, Estonia and that one ‘Jezebel’ song being close behind.
I've never been so happy! I'm so proud of sam coming second. This is massive for us! Glad Ukraine won too, so much toxicness out there but im glad in times like this, we stand and show unity to those affected by war. I'm saying this with respect, but how could winning eurovision help Ukraine in any way? I just don't get it because this it's not a political contest, it's a song contest. The best song should have won. Besides, there are many and more efficient ways of helping Ukraine than voting for them in a song contest, in my opinion.
@@irenegimenez9262 hola Irene! Ukrainian here to answer your above question ! Literally 1 good note out of 100 devastating news each day. This win is the beam of light and hope we all desperately needed and humanity in the form of a public vote gave us ! And I’m grateful for that ! That was literally the only joyful moment we all had since February 24th. But even this was taken away from us by bitter ppl whose song did not win …..
Last year the best moments was Maneskin presence and victory/Hooverphonic (shame they didn't get recognized at all..). @@Anonymous-zf2pu no offence but the music was boring. Mediocre at best. You will not see it as you’re an Aussie so you will by default disagree with me. There’s a reason why they lost and that reason is poor music.
@@RedditionOrigins this comment irks me, there's no need to be unnecessarily negative for no reason. You are absolutely entitled to have your opinions, but considering the previous comments noted how emotional it made them, read the room a bit. Mate, we are just happy to participate and be a part of it all. Also, Australia's singer is autistic and considering you tend to get a lot of issues with anxiety with that (speaking from personal experience) that's why we are especially super proud of him. He had to work extra to overcome aspects and compensate for the issues autism certainly brings. Just some extra context for you.
I was there in Turin. Really an incredible year, and as someone who rated Ukraine, the UK, and Portugal particularly highly this year, I left feeling very satisfied! I'm still thinking about how we all got kinda blown back in our chairs when Ukraine's televote score rolled in. We all knew it'd score big - hell, I'd even called them scoring over 400 points - but then that score ACTUALLY BEING ANNOUNCED was brain-breakingly awesome. And more than well-earned! Slava Ukraini, and see you in Glasgow/Manchester/Birmingham!
Lol I wish graham was our commentator! He's so funny! The Australian ones are so cringe and just about about themselves or roast the artist's clothes during the show 🥲😅😂
The green cirkle is there because Cornelia saw a picture on pinterest that was something like that and she wanted it as well. She also feels that the song is cirkular so the cirkle really fits that. Why it's green and red is because she felt that the first part of the song is green because it's pretty calm and when it turns red it's like emotional anger if that makes sense. Like she's singing the ass out of herself. And the note in the finals "GIVE ME THE NIIGHT" is AMAZING! Well it's kinda obvious that I love her lol. I'm actually gonna see her in Uppsala on saturday so yeea

MIKA adorable humble J'adore 👍💞💞
Finally someone noticed BLANCO doing whatever that is
Channel is a true winner
mika n subwoolfer were the best of this year HAHAHHA
This is appearing in my recommended constantly again well done Ami
I've never been so happy! I'm so proud of sam coming second. This is massive for us! Glad Ukraine won too, so much toxicness out there but im glad in times like this, we stand and show unity to those affected by war. I will be showing my support and attending next year in Maripoul (I think its spelt)
but can we stop ignoring the fact that kalush orchestra are nazis? cause its really important that eurovision doesnt tolerate fascism th-cam.com/video/lBcFU959QWY/w-d-xo.html
Nope)
Mariupol)))
I'm saying this with respect, but how could winning eurovision help Ukraine in any way? I just don't get it because this it's not a political contest, it's a song contest. The best song should have won. Besides, there are many and more efficient ways of helping Ukraine than voting for them in a song contest, in my opinion.
Even if the war has ended before the summer of ‘23, Mariupol will still be a mess. If they’d really want to host in Ukraine, Lviv is a better option.
@@irenegimenez9262 hola Irene! Ukrainian here to answer your above question ! We are all physically exhausted, mentally drained and so many of us are dealing with wartime depression, refugee syndrome , sleepless nights of stress under air raid sirens, physical illness caused by stress and there is no foreseen end of this!
You can tell this was the best night of Graham's life 😂
this year was such a good one, uk coming in second, all the absolutely breath taking performances, MIKAS PERFORMANCE i was literally shook
Mika is just so awesome!!!
Last year the best moments was Maneskin presence and victory/Hooverphonic (shame they didn't get recognized at all..).
This year best moments, again, Maneskin performance (Damiano's Leg was fucked up), Laura Pausini/Mika and The Rasmuss presence (like Hooverphonic last year, they didn't get recognized..)
Good job, Turin!
My fave was Graham saying "in space no one can hear you screaming at your hairdresser" 💀
Windows movie maker moment 😂😂😂
Holand Poland ha, ha ale śmieszne!
I love how the televote order is ukraine - moldova - spain - serbia
also the "oh dear" at 7:32 i'm dead 💀
BEST MOMENT OF EUROVISION THIS YEAR IS WHEN ITALY DECIDE CHANGE AND INVENT THE 6 COUNTRYES VOTES. ABSOLUTLY UNFORGETTABLE!!!!!!
Fun fact: UK has the record of most second places in all Eurovision history.
That's sad.
nice,check this out too: th-cam.com/video/e2PNSx-nMFY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=StephanieBarbara
I love how it just cuts after “tres, duo, uno, sTOP-“ I need that as a reaction meme for many conversations
7:04 MARO'S FACE IN THE CORNER, I'M CRYING 😭😭😭😭
I loved this eurovision not only because it was in my country (🤭) but also because there are litterally 2 singers conducting it!!!! I loved it❤
I was already crying from Australia, so the UK just carried on through the emotions. I usually cry when our own song comes on. I’m a soppy sausage
Yup. Our Aussie song was the best. How did we not win?! I was crying for almost an hour.
12 points from Ukraine!!! wonderful performance! I like it
@@Anonymous-zf2pu no offence but the music was boring.
*BITI ZDRAVA,BITI ZDRAVA,BITI ZDRAVA,BITI BITI BITI BITI ZDRAVA*
I love her(volim nju)
10 yo me literally cried when I saw Mika in Eurovision 😂
You mean you're ten now? 😂
“Someone at the BBC is getting nervous” is iconic 😂
the ,,jesus rights?‘‘ killed me lmao
Tell me why the songs sound better in a lower pitch omg ALSO THE EDITING YES the comments yes
The 2022 grand final was absolutely my favorite. 😊
Eurovision is like a shroom trip with an indie movie soundtrack and goofy scenes
i love Ukraine and Norway-they are too cool!
nice,check this out too: th-cam.com/video/e2PNSx-nMFY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=StephanieBarbara
god your commentator has done such a good job, we had one that was so annoying and they kept talking while mika laura and cattelan were speaking
I lost it when you compared Nadir's gestures to Gjon's lol
This video is so wholesome as a British Ukrainian I’m sobbing rn
Lol I wish graham was our commentator! He's so funny! The Australian ones are so cringe and just about about themselves or roast the artist's clothes during the show 🥲😅😂
literally.... i hate our commentators i was literally looking for vpns during the show so i didnt need to listen to them 😭
Oh yea. Shame. How did we not win. Do you know. That song was the literal best.
Moldova was just vibing and im all in for that
MIKA😍
Mika is so good
thank you so much for this. "she's got her shopping in that shoulder"
3:49 Blanco approaching like it's his turn on the xbox :o
