i really want to knit the vests he wears in the tpwk music video (unpopular opinion but its my favorite music video and song from him) and I'm planning on buying the colors and knitting an argyle vest. that being said, i'm knitting my first cardigan now and haven't tried recreating anything yet.
The casual chaoticness of this vid was so iconic!! I love seeing everything you make, whether it's your own design or our goddess divine petiteknit lol If you can get a hold of it, I think the orange tilia I've used would be a good match to the orange yarn you got :)) Your mum is so sweet, mine has also helped me with a couple of my projects for stockinette sections haha and omggg youre almost at 30k?! you so deserve it!!! xx
Tencel is a trademark name; sometimes it's referred to as lyocell. It's made of cellulose fibers. It's marketed as an eco-friendly alternative to other fibers like polyester or acrylic.
it would be cool if you posted them at the end of every month like on the last tuesday or make it like a bonus video at the end of the month and show new yarn you got and things you made that month. we love podcasts
Loved this style of format. It’s like when I’m talking with friends over a zoom call. ❤️ also am really looking forward to your next videos with all of your WIPS and future projects. I’m a self taught knitter so I know random techniques and weirdly stronger in lace knitting than something basic like German Short Rows. It would be amazing if you’d do some tutorials for some of the techniques needed for the knit alongs. Even if it’s outside of the knit alongs or a Patreon situation. I would be totally down with that.
This video is so nice to listen while knitting 🤭 and you look more comfortable than other videos! Can you try the laid edges socks pattern by Kellie Macpherson next time? It looked so wearable and cute in ravelry:)
Yessss keep the podcast format!! I love your regular vids for seeing the process of making a project, but this format is also nice for keeping us updated on where your master knitting brain is!! Much love from beccaadority on twitch haha
Look, I’m usually a silent viewer but I had to comment because this was so good!! ❤️ Fully intended to just watch for a couple minutes and ended up watching the whole thing. Hearing you rave about Petiteknits was such a welcome surprise bc I’m obsessed as well! Whilst watching I worked on the Penny socks by her, and I plan to start the Ankers tee next. I live in Sweden so Sandnes yarns are quite easy to come by and while they are expansive, I love them. I’ve done a slipover in two threads of Sunday and am currently finishing their Fair ilse slipover pattern, also in Sunday. Hope you love this yarn as much as I do, and I will for sure be coming back for more of these videos! ❤️❤️
i saw the name of this and saw how long it was and clicked IMMEDIATELY, im going to try to get an arm for my cable sweater done while watching you, ill update this comment at the end! edit: got a little more than half of the sleeve done, thanks for keeping me company!
My favorite thing to wash woolen items is Eucalan. It isnt too expensive and I've been able to get it in Canada super easily. I got soooo exited when I saw this on my homepage lol you made my day
If you love the persian tile, you might also like the Stained Glass Window Afghan by Melody MacDuffee. I think it would be such a great way to use up scrap yarn.
The struggle is real. Yes I too O. D on yarn. This is my fist time watching your vid and wonder why youtube has only now recommended you. I enjoy the the length and your natural air of conduct, for this episode. Thank you for sharing your makes. 😍✌️
So one of the ways I deal with not being able to match mohair with yarn is to intentionally contrast them. I have a sweater with dark brown yarn and light brown mohair, and it gives off a kind of "glowing" effect! I know you can play around with it the other way around, too, like with light base and dark mohair. Not sure if this would be something you'd like, but I find that I like the result of that better than to have a clear bad match
Love your podcast. The amount of projects, the yarn addiction and the excitement about future projects really resonates with me 😅. I can feel how my knitting mojo is returning, thank you 😊
literally love how you were not understanding the point with the sleeve/arm warmer thing in the video when u made it ... except it’s the cutest darn thing & you’ve worn & loved it so much
I love love love this style of video. It really feels like I’m just listening to a friend, and honestly I can listen and laugh and just do things around the house (especially when I’ve been neglecting because rip finals)
If you want a not-so-expensive mohair source I would suggest coned mohair on Etsy, especially like Ukrainian sellers. It's usually a wool/mohair blend or a wool/acrylic/mohair blends, but sometimes they have silk mohair. On the cheaper end you can buy like 100g of wool/mohair for like $10. GYarns and WorldYarnShop on Etsy are my favorite sources of affordable mohair.
@@typicalbliss I mean there's DEFINITELY a difference between wool/mohair and silk/mohair but I've enjoyed working with the cones that I've purchased, especially since a lot of them are mill ends from textile companies in Italy and stuff
I love this so much! You have such great energy and it just feels like sitting and knitting with a friend! I hope it was a fun video for you to make too!
I'm working on my first knitting project and working while watching you talk made it feel like we were hanging out - even though I have no idea what most knitting / yarn terminology means. 💜
I'm using diablo mohair held with a knit crate yarn right now! I would almost recommend not matching your mohair with your main yarn exactly, the subtle heather effect is gorgeous and definitely something I aim for! (ex I'm using like a greige yarn with a pale pink mohair and its such a lovely warm subtle rose pink color)
I love this type of video! And you should definitly try crocheting the persian tiles blanket. I started it when i was a beginner and it was surprisely how well it went. Try to remember sewing ends in as you go. Your future self will be happy!
From what I understand, tencel is an attempt at a synthetic silk fiber. I saw someone else in the comments saying it's added for shine and drape, and that seems to fit the "synthetic silk" description to me.
I LOVE a good knitting podcast! So here for this new series. I think it would be cool to see your process for unraveling sweaters in a future video too.
I love all the anime you watched although I had to look up what The Sound of Life is lol. Also a fan of Petiteknit. Her pieces are so classic but you can spice it up with the yarn you use.
i really want to make the fortune sweater and sunday socks by petiteknit.... at the end of all your petiteknit projects, you should do a petiteknit review video!
GURL. You call yourself insane waaaay too much! You deserve so much more kindness from yourself! (All of us who struggle with mental health will appreciate your effort! ♥) Heck yeah on the Noro haul! I hear they're so nice! They always looked beautiful but I never had a project I wanted them for... Maybe one day! Looking forward to seeing what you make with them! :)
I loved this! Kinda sad that I’ll have to wait another month for the next but it was soo relaxing! Thank you for this, it was nice to see what you are getting into
I LOVE ouran high school host club!! I was listening to the song that plays at the end last night and I was thinking about it just now when you started talking about anime and then you mentioned!! It’s one of my favorites ☺️
Your green and orange yarns remind me of mena_knits’ v-neck sweater video; she had very similar yarn but I think in a heavier weight. Also, don’t feel bad for coming over stuff you already made a video for! I would love updates on how the knits are holding up and how much wear you actually get out of them. I also just love seeing all of the beautiful knits again!
I’m happy I’m not the only one who keeps buying yarn for new projects while my current projects aren’t even close to being finished. I’m crocheting a tank top and a light sweater and a baby dragon (for my boyfriend, but shhh it’s a surprise) and knitting a hat. Meanwhile I have yarn for a few sweaters, a scarf and who knows what else. And of course I keep seeing other stuff I want to make so I’m debating to buy yarn for that already... After seeing this video I’m thinking of putting the cumulus blouse on my list and maybe buy Drops kid silk for it. It’s a mohair silk blend that doesn’t seem to be too expensive. Kind of want to play with colours and knit with two different ones at the same time. But then it’s so hard to pick them when you can only see them on a computer screen...
I have been on a knitting lull for about 2 months, but about 5 mins into this video i picked up the pair of socks that have been waiting for me and am almost finished with the foot thanks to your energy in this video! I feel so inspired watching your excitement about making things. I'm also a bit jealous of how many garments you've made. I bought a sweater pattern, but I haven't tried it yet out of caution because it's so big compared to socks. Also, the anime talk section has me so excited! I'm currently watching/waiting for new episodes of "My Senpai is Annoying" and "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime." Both completely different story types, but both super good. I haven't read the mangas for either of them, but I'm in love with both of them. Do you have any suggestions for someone who is nervous about starting a sweater for the first time?😶
On your next knitting lesson video can you talk a bit about how to safely unravel your work and get it back on your needles? I always mess up and end up dropping stitches
Love this style of video! Question about German short rows and petit knits: in her patterns does she include the extra stitch you need to add when turning the work or do you just have to assume she means that? I’ve done a few patterns with GSR and it annoys me when pattern don’t tell you about that extra stitch to prevent gapping! Also I have a similar idea to do myself and my boyf matching zipper sweaters 😍 love your videos love you! You’re so INSPIRING!!!
Hey!! I just finished recording my yarny podcast and it’s uploading when I This popped up, yay! I love finding more podcasts to watch, honestly it’s all I watch, I don’t watch tv at all, podcasts are my jam! I’m excited you joined in the fun! Welcome, hugs from me, Barb AKA knotty yarnies
I *love* petiteknit’s patterns, but I am at the very-far end of her sizing for most of her patterns. I have a 42” bust (give or take, depending on how much my weight is fluctuating). So I’ve stopped using her patterns, personally, but I support you trying to stick with a designer.
I’m still knitting my Harry styles cardigan from like a month ago
I started a two color vest two months ago and havent finished the body:')
me too😩 I started over because the yellow I had bought was too light and now I’m contemplating starting over again cuz the green might be too dark😭
i really want to knit the vests he wears in the tpwk music video (unpopular opinion but its my favorite music video and song from him) and I'm planning on buying the colors and knitting an argyle vest. that being said, i'm knitting my first cardigan now and haven't tried recreating anything yet.
Im still working on it and i started it during august so dont worry mate
@Analina Venezia that’s so cool I wish I could see the skirt when it’s done
one hour with tiffany *chefs kiss*

Tencel is a trademark name; sometimes it's referred to as lyocell. It's made of cellulose fibers. It's marketed as an eco-friendly alternative to other fibers like polyester or acrylic.
Just jumping in to add that tencel is kind of like rayon. It would have been added for sheen and drape, not elasticity.
it would be cool if you posted them at the end of every month like on the last tuesday or make it like a bonus video at the end of the month and show new yarn you got and things you made that month. we love podcasts
yeah for sure! I was very busy this week so I couldn't handle making a full video but a bonus video would be such a good idea!!
Loved this style of format. It’s like when I’m talking with friends over a zoom call. ❤️ also am really looking forward to your next videos with all of your WIPS and future projects. Yay! Welcome to the knitting podcast world! 😋 knitting and collecting yarn are totally different hobbies!
This video is so nice to listen while knitting 🤭 and you look more comfortable than other videos! Can you try the laid edges socks pattern by Kellie Macpherson next time? It looked so wearable and cute in ravelry:)
I love crocheting while listening to you talk please make a bunch more of these videos or even a podcast
You are literally my favorite person now.
Yessss keep the podcast format!! I love your regular vids for seeing the process of making a project, but this format is also nice for keeping us updated on where your master knitting brain is!! Much love from beccaadority on twitch haha
OMG BECCA!! I love it thank you
this is just perfect to watch/listen when you’re knitting, so please keep doing them! 🥰

I absolutely love this type of video. It’s great to knit to and it’s very relaxing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've been watching knitting traditions since you recommended her and now I can watch you too! I'm so happy
My favorite thing to wash woolen items is Eucalan. It isnt too expensive and I've been able to get it in Canada super easily. I got soooo exited when I saw this on my homepage lol you made my day

omg its beautiful, im not gonna have any room for these!!
So fun to watch you find your vibe and comfortable setting while exploring knitting. Tiffany's Crafty Corner!!😇
The struggle is real. Yes I too
O. D on yarn. This is my fist time watching your vid and wonder why youtube has only now recommended you. I enjoy the the length and your natural air of conduct, for this episode. Thank you for sharing your makes. 😍✌️
aw tysm, haha I think it's cuz im just starting out, im glad you like it
The “Gleener” is my favorite sweater shaver!!! You can buy it on Amazon
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I WAS TO SEE THIS🥺💗💗💗
Yay! I love this, I finally have a video to watch that’s as long as it takes to do my homework.

We get it. You're obsessed with Petite Knit.............. same girl same lol
Me: How many times are you going to say "insane"
Tiffany: Yes.
Tencel is made from Eucalyptus Trees and Lyocell is another word for Tencel. Great Video and Thank you for sharing !!!! :) 🙂😀
yess!! i’m so happy this video exists, i love these videos because i can just chill and do my stuff😩
These would be so cute monthly, I love listening to you talk about your projects😭💕

Omg I’m so excited!! Really need a chilled out evening tonight thank goodness you uploaded!! 🥺🥰💞
Redoing the swatch I tried making last night and mangled with the iron
Dude! I thought the exact same thing! The promised never land needed more developement right at the end...
I’d love it if you did a video on yarn recommendations according to price and material! Its hard to do yarn shopping when we cant go in store 😭
FOR SURE, I haven't gotten a lot of yarn so once I buy more I give you some
On your next knitting lesson video can you talk a bit about how to safely unravel your work and get it back on your needles? I always mess up and end up dropping stitches

love this! ❤️️
In the Etsy shop ...I knit you dye there is a bright color mohair that would match you yarn. The color way is PRIDE.
i’d love it if you’d make a tutorial for unraveling sweaters - I always butcher them and feel so wasteful!!
I don't feel like knitting today but I will enjoy listening to this while playing some Minecraft :)
very great video. you guys need to watch to your eternity. its so deep and sad lol.
i like this new setup!
Ahhh lysm, literally I have been looking for a crochet podcast. Can I find this on Spotify?
I love your videos! Is there a pattern for your shrug? The one you’re wearing. Thanks.
Not sure if anyone answered yet, but Tencel is a type of rayon.
Thanks for posting a new video love theeß
Hey!! I just finished recording my yarny podcast and it’s uploading when I
This popped up, yay! I love finding more podcasts to watch, honestly it’s all I watch, I don’t watch tv at all, podcasts are my jam! I’m excited you joined in the fun! Welcome, hugs from me, Barb AKA knotty yarnies
Where did you get the pink tank top your wearing its really cute
What machine do you use to wind your yarn. I have to always untangle my yarn while I’m knitting
IM SO EXCITED DOR THIS VIDEO YOU DONT EVEN KNOW
I *love* petiteknit’s patterns, but I am at the very-far end of her sizing for most of her patterns. I have a 42” bust (give or take, depending on how much my weight is fluctuating). So I’ve stopped using her patterns, personally, but I support you trying to stick with a designer.
oh nooooooz, that sucks
you remind me of ryujin of itzy! 💞
love your content uu
Have you tried Bellish the app for knitting patterns. It’s supposed to simplify writing patterns
ive been watching skam and its remakes, there are so many lol
its more for teens and its similar to skins but way less intense
love the podcast! I def knit along. btw, where did you get those cute crates?
i think daiso has them
Haha your thumbnail is such a mood 😂
