Changed? Really? or rather updated, evolved? Grown? Nice haircut, yes. We should never remain stagnant. I appreciate that you adapt. During Covid, you made seaside vlogs with snacks, and that was just as entertaining. And before you had to leave your ship, you did ship tours. Life is so much more interesting if you can make the most of your circumstance. Always be true to yourself!

Good cut!!! I have not had a cut in 51 weeks. I've been chemo bald 4 times since 2012 and I just finished recovering from a Stem Cell Transplant. Cruisin Royal!

Hello Chris. Great job on the content of the video. It does not matter where you get the content from. Most of us appreciate your efforts. I think you are growing, maturing and evolving. You respect your company and enjoy the work you do. I have been following you for at least a year, you have continued to do a terrific job. You are well respected because you are respectful, professional, kind and welcoming. I wonder how many people have decided to apply at RCCL because one or more of your content videos?
One question - about a month or so ago, you mentioned about going to UTOPIA of the Seas for a bit. What has transpired from that? Thank you.
The rainforest was nice.
I just have zero interest in these mega ships. Now seeing that they’ve even blocked off a huge section just for suite guests just means that an already crowded ship is going to be that much more crowded.
I have a funny feeling that these mega ships overtime will not be as popular as they are now. They are too expensive, way too many people, and with all the kids just too loud.
But they do increase overall capacity of passengers which puts stress on the industry that needs to compete. Cruises are already pretty cheap and these larger ships just keep the costs down for everyone else.
I’m with you there the one thing though that I’d like about a large cruise ship is hopefully the less chence I’ll get seasick! But I agree with all your other points ESPECIALLY the way cruise lines block access to certain areas to only those who can afford to pay that’s my biggest issue.

Will a ship leave staff behind too if not back in time?
Abaerlutly they will- if crew do not return to the ship by “ crew all aboard time “ a few hours to my understanding BEFORE the passenger all aboard time they’ll be left behind, their passports will be left with the port agent and from there they are on their own oh and they are than officially no longer employees of the cruise line- missing the ship is an automatic termination, I guess the cruise line may also contact the local police as there thsn ex- employee is at that point in time unlawfully in the country, once they are no longer employed with the cruise line - well, that is how I understand it after watching years of TH-cam content from actual cruise ship crew It’s a very big deal to miss the ship as a crew-member. If however they report their expectation of being late back to their boss before the time at which they are meant to be bsck , still get back to the ship before sail away from port they MAY get off with a disciplinary warning, and I would likely suspect a potential ban from Shore leave for the remainder of the contract.
The big thing is keeping the boss in the loop that would be paramount to the chance of having a job to come back to or not. If they don’t or can’t call things could become very tricky for them.

I wouldn't say you've changed. You've grown and become more grounded and maybe more sure of yourself. The content will depend on what you have to work with, I think most of us understand that. But we still all enjoy watching you and your life through your eyes.
Fun video today. Loving all the Icon content -- there is so much to see and do on this ship! Today in the Grove especially because not all guests get to see that. Keep on doing what you do best, best cruise ship vlogs -- the numbers prove it!

Besides sunglasses, you need sun hat. CARIB beer. One of my favorite pleasant tasting beer. This beer is from my hubby's country, the island of Trinidad and Tobago.

Chris, I understand your explanation. And it makes sense. But when you agree to your contracts you should also take into account what your vlog is going to consist of. There are LOTS of ways to view a ship, there is only ONE way for me to get to know you. I do think contracts where you are able to do more shore leaves are more interesting. And as I mentioned in earlier comments, the ICON is really NOT of any interest to me. (too big, too expensive, and too family oriented) (Have you thought about a contract on Celebrity, perhaps a Mediterranean, or even Asian contract, then you could have lots to compare and vlog about.
You're still the best cruise content. I love the mix of ship tour and excursion tour.

Great video, Chris. I had the pleasure of meeting you on Icon in March. You had a new haircut then. 😆 I like the hair changes.
Your life, your career, its great you show us what its like and share your experiences. Another vlogger I follow was recently asked in a q&a how he dealt with online trolls. He gave a great answer, saying 'well while they're bothering me at least they arem't bothering someone else". Literally just scroll on by them and don't feed their energy by responding. Enjoy the rest of this contract, I know its long, long hours on ships with not much downtime so use that downtime how YOU need to for yourself.

Was a working dog on board? Interesting. I've seen a "pet" area on ships for working dogs, but I've never seen an animal on board.
