You look fantastic! I just saw you first video and you the purple gel colors and noticed as you pinned it up that you looked younger and more more beautiful with hair pinned and away from your face. I have thick straight hair and graying just like you, I also cut my hair, pixie to remove old colored hair. Dry your hair with your finger to see your GOD given curl, it beautiful, wish I had it.
Just like you, I was also growing out my gray hair and I just got a pixie cut too! And it’s my first time EVER with short hair in my life and I am LOVING 🥰 IT! I am... however... struggling with learning out to style it but, I’m having fun learning. ☺️💗
The skin showing would be called a fade. Man!!!! You can do so much! I would do twistouts, braidouts, wet curls over the eye like Trinity from the Matrix!!!! Look at photos of Halle Berry. Check out short Black and Latina hairstyles. They rock styles like what you have. Rock yours!!!!!
I’ve decided to do a dramatic cut since I have about 6 inches of grow out. I’m looking at a combination pixie-Bob like cut but I’m wondering how the grow out phase is when you have short hair. Is it horrible? My goal is to eventually go back to having longish hair
I enjoyed the grow out. I had a lot of really cute short cuts. Having the right attitude about it makes all the difference. If you hate your short hair and are negative about the grow out it’s going to be miserable. When I showed the different hair styles I’ve had over the last 2 years those were all points during my grow out.
I didn’t think it was weird but I also didn’t do it to get the colored part off. I just genuinely wanted a pixie. My gray hair looks different than I thought it would even those I saw a years worth of grow out before I did the pixie.
Often I follow people just because I like their personalities or their content is interesting. Not necessarily because it actually applies to my life. For instance I follow this one guy who does really good time lapse videos with his fish tanks and how everything grows. I have no desire to get a fish tank or make my own filter. Same goes for you. I don’t have a wavy shag and I don’t have any plans for a pixie. I just like watching you.

I've been straightening it because that's what I need practice doing but wavy pixie things will for sure be happening.

I feel like it's more of faux hawk than a pixie.
A faux hawk is a fun style you can do with a pixie cut.
