Yeah because not only thw character of Constantine is badass how he is written but that Matt Ryan is also a badass credible actor with geninue charisma and does numerous stage plays, unlike the rest of the CW cast.
That's because Matt Ryan can actually match Tom Ellis's acting style unlike the rest of the CW actors who are perpetually stuck in day time soap style acting.

Reportedly, Tom Ellis and Matt Ryan enjoyed their scene together. Ellis in particular found it fun to go back to playing his pre-Chloe version of Lucifer.
Chloe turned him into a bit of a wet noodle in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. 4th season was better but yeah it's nice to see the care-free, in-control, powerful Lucifer again.

@@gonfreecss7215 The pronunciation in the comics cannonically rhymes with "time," which as far as I know is also how the city is pronounced, so I think the comic has it correct. It's just the TV shows and the Keanu Reeves movie that get it wrong.

I totally forgot about Lucifer and LOVED the cameo. And I forgot how much I love Tom Ellis' character. I loved how he just came right out admitting knowledge of the multiverse.
Maybe that is how he knew that he MIGHT be able to cut reality and make a universe for his mom.

This part is hilarious. The devil flirting with Mia and Diggle, having a back-and-forth with John FEAKING Constantine (even pronouncing his name wrong), and acting like the Multiverse ending is no big deal, like "Whatever, it's not my fault." I'd have thought he'd feel left out if all existence faced annihilation without his involvement.
He pronounced his name correctly. In Hellblazer Constantine mentioned the correct pronunciation, as well as the fact that Alan Moore, the writer of the Hellblazer comics stated the correct way to say it.
This version of the devil wouldnt care about the annihilation if the multiverse either way I feel like. If you watched Lucifer you'd know that he really only wanted to be free from Hell. Since thsi scene takes palce BEFORE the Lucifer show ecan began he barely has any humanity and doesnt care about human or his life rrally

Of course he would, all the Arrowverse actors are C level (and trust me, C Level is being very generous) compared to Tom Ellis, Tom Welling, etc. Matt Ryan holds his own because he is that damn good and I dont consider him Arrowverse because he built that character on another show that was not connected to Arrow at all, which is why you dont see Manny, Chas or Zed after this time, even no mention of them.

THANKYOU they completely ruined the continuity of Tome Wellingtons Superman. 1. He would never give up his powers which was discussed throughout the show of smallville and Lois would never have let him. 2. His earth was an exact replica of Earth 1 like it should have been and was the only other world with a Justice League where everyone was aged so his earth should have been Earth Prime.

I got instant energy and screamed out so loud when that helicopter shot of Lux appeared. I felt something good was gonna happen and my mind was still unsure, surprised and confused. When the number#666 appeared on screen and got me more surprised.
But then I remembered Tom saying that he wasn't gonna be in the crossover (completely).
Before I even realized it and tried to process things, he was already there.
*Happy Tears streamed down my face* and I was so happy. I felt completely hopeful when I saw him again.
My heart raced and it felt like I was meeting an old friend. This is probably the best scene in the entire crossover.

There are two reasons why luicfer's actual powers are not shown in the show.
1) Show budget
2) Luicfer can one shot every character apart from God out of exisistance and he doesn't need to show his full power as he knows he can beat anyone and anything, then again he has the ego to challenge God and want him a fight, I don't think anyone in the right mind from the entire DC universe would want to fuck with Lucifer

Edit: Tom Ellis confirmed this takes place 5 years before season 1 in an interview.
So if by Arrowverse timeline the crisis begins on December 10th 2019 and Oliver's post Gambit story begins in September 2007 then how the hell do they rescue Oliver's soul in 2007 when he was still alive. Unless you're talking about 5 years before season 1 of Lucifer started which was 2009/2010 and it still doesn't make sense
